A-OK Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

I cannot speak to the standard of work this company does because they never bothered to show up. I called on Monday June 22nd to schedule a tech to come out to my house and write up a quote to install an A/C Unit. I was scheduled for an appt for Tuesday the 23rd between 1-3, I accepted but explained I had to call my wife to see if she could get the time off of work because I couldn?t. About 45 minutes later I called back to confirm to them that my wife could be there and at that point was told the appt would probably be more like 2-4 vice 1-3 which I accepted. The next morning my wife called to double check on the appt to make sure it was indeed 2-4 vice 1-3 and the 2-4 appt was confirmed. So my wife left work and was home before 2 to wait for the tech, at 4:30 when no one had showed up she called the office to find out what was going on. At this point she was told that we had never scheduled an appt, even though both my wife and myself had called and confirmed the appt. However at this point the lady was nice enough to offer my wife an 11-1 appt for Thursday the 25th, which my wife being the nice person she is accepted (I would have said He%^ NO!). So Thursday rolls around and my wife again takes vacation time and goes to the house to wait for the tech to come give us a quote. Well a little after 12 the tech call?s my wife to explain that he is on the other side of town and will not be able to make the scheduled appt but offered to come by Saturday, which she accepted. Upon her calling me to give me the great news, I had her call back and cancel the Saturday appt. I called the office after learning of this and explained my frustrations, rather politely I might add. To which the same lady that both my wife and I had spoken to previously had the nerve to tell me that we were both wrong that she would never ever, under any circumstances schedule a 12-2 appt because their windows are 11-1 and 1-3. The second missed appt might have been understandable if it were the first appt because everyone understands that things happen, but after everything that had transpired one would think that they would have ensured that someone made the second appt. I would like to personally thank A-OK for my wife ?WASTING? seven hours of vacation time to try and do business with you, but apparently your company could care less.

Jeremy did all the work in a timely and professional fashion. Since the gas was shut off for the capping procedure, the two hot waters heaters went out and needed to be restarted. We did not discover this until later that day and since I couldn't get the pilot lights to ignite in either one, I called him and he came back to the house late on a Friday evening to take care of the problem. He showed a great deal of professionalism and pride in his work by doing this. He also discovered that when his company put the heaters in four years ago, they did a sloppy job. He was not there at that time. He came back and fixed the problems the next Monday and we are all set now.

It started off not too good, work was wrong and sloppy, unacceptable. I talked to the owner, ( Torrey Cosgrove) he came to the my house, agreed with my complain. Another technician( Brian) came to repair the work. He did an great job. Quality work, professional, on time. The end result was excellent. There was no extra charge. I would recommend this company and use them again in the future.

Alan Terry didn't have to spend time on the phone telling me how to do the work (pulling a thermostat wire), but he did. If I can't do the job myself, I would call a person like that in a heartbeat. In talking further, I arranged for an estimate for a different job (installation of overhead artistic light in alcove), and I look forward to working with the folks at A-OK, who have been in the business, I was told, for 3 generations.

I have used A-OK since I moved into my house 5 years ago. They have been reliable and respectful during the entire time they have been servicing my evaporative cooler and furnace. They are good about answering questions and providing feedback. I would highly recommend them.

Brent came out to fix my air conditioner. There was no electricity running to it. He told me I needed an electrician first. Then he came out the next day and repaired the air.He also inspected my furnace which was shooting sparks when it came on and offered me a new furnace and clean the coils to the air, including tax at a very reasonable price. My furnace was 18 years old so it would be dying soon anyway. I thought they were very honest and gave me a very fair price for all the work done.
