A-ABSOLUTE AIR DUCT CLEANING INC

We called A-Absolute on December 20th and made an appointment for the cleaning of our air ducts and carpets. We are moving into a new home and had each contractor set up for specific days and times and, of course, leaving time for them to be late and unexpected things. We had the carpet cleaning set up for 8:00am on Saturday December 7th. I work nights so I had not slept in 40 hours. they did not show up or call me this day. We called and their response was "we spaced it." Actually, we were upset but them just rescheduled them to come Monday at 9:00am because all of the painting was being done Tuesday and the furniture was coming Wednesday and our move was Thursday (Jan. 12th). We waited (again missing work) for 8 hours. We called repeatedly only to be told by the person answering the phone, "maybe you should reschedule or call someone else." The technician called at 5:30pm and told us that they had run into a big job and could not get to us. Our new neighbors told us someone else in the neighborhood had trouble with them as well. This has cost us so much money and time that it is disheartening. I will tell everyone I meet about their poor service and disrespect to their customers.

I had a really disappointing experience with A-Absolute. Bill, the Denver area operator came to my house to clean the ducts. I was in the process of renovating my basement at the time and had some exposed joists in the basement ceiling which were actually part of a plenum (aka: cold air return). I asked him to clean a small section of a plenum but he adamantly refused and began arguing with me about the definition of a cold air return. Mind you this is even after I offered to pay him for the extra for the work I was requesting. When I asked him to clean the cold air return to the furnace, he said he would only do that if I purchased an additional $50 furnace cleaning; the normal $20 price for cold air returns didn't apply. I eventually had to get on the phone with the owner of the company who told Bill to finish the job as I asked. The job was ultimately completed but the whole experience was very unpleasant to say the least. Duct cleaning companies are a dime a dozen. Find one that offers better customer service.

I had all of our air ducts and return vents cleaned. The guy showed up on time, was very friendly, and did a good job. The ducts were very dirty and they look a whole lot better. I had a coupon I received in the mail and I told them I had it when I scheduled the appointment. They honored the coupon and were very pleasant and friendly while performing the services. I would recommend.

Extra charges on top of quoted price...also scratched new hard wood floor but denied it. Supervisor was a jerk on the phone.
