I was very impressed with how quickly I recevied a call back to schedule the appointment. Also, unlike most companies, this one gave me a 30 minute window for the appointment so I would not have to hang around for the typical 4-hour window. To top it off, he showed up exactly on time, was very knowledgeable and professional and had provided the quote within 30 minutes. We have not decided yet if we will have the floors installed but, based on this experience, I highly recommend others to at least get a quote from A+ Hardwood.

I didn't use them. They were fine. I ultimately chose someone else. All the estimates that I got were pretty close. He was punctual and professional.

Fantastic. From the initial meeting, to delivering the wood to acclimate, to the install, sanding, finishing - you can tell this outfit is very comfortable and professional. Highly recommended.

they did very well. They gave them a free estimate of what could be done, and told them exactly what they should do. When they did the refinishing it turned out beautiful. They did exactly what they promised.

They were very efficient, professional, and did a great job. They came when they were supposed to. They actually finished a day sooner than planned. The smokers smoked way out on the sidewalk and I thought that was very considerate---as opposed to smoking on my porch.

They were very professional and seemed to be very good. I think they were much more comfortable putting in new floors instead of refinishing floors. They seemed to be very good but they were a little bit more expensive than another company I contacted. They were trying to up sell me.

Aaron from A+ Hardwoods came over for a free estimate. From the moment he walked in, he was condescending and disdainful, maybe because we don't live in a "multi-million dollar, upscale home," which he repeatedly stated was the "vast majority of the projects" that company completes. We asked a simple question regarding the risers for stairs and mentioned that we had been to other stores/service providers who gave us different information that what Aaron was telling us, and so Aaron launched again into his "million dollar homes" tirade. He became increasingly rude and condescending, and when we told him that we "weren't morons" and that "we get it," he sarcastically said, "Oh, well, it sounds like you have received GREAT information from those other companies, so you should just go with one of them." He was unbelievably rude. It's normal to ask questions when you are about to spend thousands of dollars and allow people access to your home, but evidently that is a no-no with A+ Hardwood Floors.

We obtained a quote for another coat of polyurethane to be placed on our rental property and our new home. He was prompt (showed early even), honest, and concise. He did not tell us to do extra work even though it wasn't needed. He suggested just for us to do the rental and leave our current home. He suggested to not do any more sanding and refinishing of our current home's hardwood floors as they were to thin. He gave his opinion if they were his floors, he would get 2-3 years more use from them and than lay new.

I was going out of town for the weekend so they arranged for me to pick a color before I left and did the job while I was gone. The floors looked great when I got back and they even hung plastic over the things I forgot to remove.

They did an exceptional job, from start to finish. The owner, Larry, came out and estimated the job and cost. He was very knowledgable and gave us some good advice. We had two other estimates and his was the least cost and the most responsive to our questions. The hardwood company delivered the wood flooring and A+ allowed a week for the wood to aclimate to the temperature. The first crew, a father and son, were prompt and very helpful. They had to remove some tile from under a cabinet and did this at no cost. Mike came the next day and did an excellent job of sanding. He applied plastic in all door ways and took exceptional care to protect the house. It was obvious that he had many years experience and was very detailed in all aspect of his work. The final result is wonderful. We could not be more happy.

They were excellent and they came out when they said they would. They gave us an estimate on what we were going to do and we filled them in on the time frame. They seemed to be very competent and very professional.
