Complete lack of response. Left two telephone messages and one email - received no response of any kind! A good business would at least respond - even if they were not interested in the job.

Ben and his crew were an answer to prayer. We were a little anxious about hiring a contractor since we were new to CO and didn't have any experience with contractors here. Our fears were calmed when Ben came out to give us an estimate. Most of the work was done in the Master Bath where he replaced carpet with tile, replaced the tile in the shower and around the tub and removed the tile on the vanities. He installed a frameless shower, a heated floor, heated towel rack and chandelier as well as all new fixtures. In the basement he built a wall with a closet and added a door to an area that we made into a bedroom. He is a very good communicator and makes sure we know what they will be doing each day. As well as doing excellent work, Ben is a man full of integrity and honesty, two things that are important in a contractor. His crew arrived promptly at 8 am and worked all day each day. They were very respectful of my home and cleaned up after themselves each day before they left. If I had a concern about anything, Ben was quick to make it right. He answered my calls and texts promptly. The whole remodel took about 6 weeks with time off during Christmas. We would definitely use AAA Construction again.

This team is the most professional, skilled, hard working, friendly, and fast construction company I have ever worked with. Every day was a pleasant surprise!

Ben and his team were great to work with. They all were professional and friendly. Our remodel was completed on time, paying special attention to protecting our floors, windows, furniture. We couldn't be happier with the results and will be using All About Awesome Construction for future projects.

We couldn't be happier with AAA's work. We hired Ben after having had several really frustrating experiences with other contractors -- disappearing for weeks after initial meetings and contacts, not completing work, etc. We had a fairly tight timeline and were not going to be on-sight for the work, so I needed someone who would meet the deadline without constant nagging and also stay in close touch throughout the process. From our first email contact, Ben was extremely organized and professional. He was right on time to our first meeting and had a number of very helpful insights into the logistics of renovating an old, cranky house, several of which I think saved us a lot of time, money and heartache. The work took about 6 weeks and Ben was in extremely close touch about deliveries/progress/decisions throughout the time. We ran into a glitch with the hardwood floor refinishing at the very end of the project and Ben and his team went way above and beyond (working two weekends in a row, taking time away from their own families) to finish the project as scheduled so we could move back into the house in time for my daughter to start school in a new city! The project also came in very significantly under-budget, which is always good. We'll be using AAA Construction again next year for a larger second-floor renovation.

A+Ben and his team were so competent and cheerful I was almost stunned.Having become unhappily accustomed to slackers, stumblers and stoners, I almost forgot what Real Quality looked like!!!!!Ben is physically and mentally quick, moving through the job with great energy, yet really patient with every question I had.I cannot recommend them enough. They were prompt, punctual and provided excellent craftsmanship to the project. This task was particularly challenging due to the extreme terrain as our home is on the side of a mountain. The finished product was outstanding and a huge asset to the aesthetics of our property, and was done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them.

Beautiful workmanship, diligent, hardworking and caring employees. Our whole experience -- from initial estimate to final product -- was hassle free with no problems, issues or concerns. Amazing work and incredible workers! I commend AAA to anyone who wants work done right, on time and within budget. It doesn't get better than that!

The workers arrived promptly and kept me well-informed of all the steps necessary to restore my home. Their manners were excellent at all times. They were careful to keep costs down by removing only what was necessary from my home and deck in order to get at the water-damaged parts, and everything was restored beautifully. I highly recommend this company!

Ben was a delight to deal with. Pleasant, prompt and his crews did great work. The only issue I had was with his concrete sub contractor (Can't remember their name). I now have a 2 year old driveway that is falling apart. Work completed in June of 2014 and spalling and crumbling began in February of 2015. His only response was it was due to the mag chloride on the roads. I've since had 3 other people out, one of which a professional engineer, and all of them said the surface was over finished with too much water. He wouldn't stand behind his work, therefore I would never use him nor recommend him to anyone. My original review somehow was deleted so I felt compelled to re post it.

Ben (and crew) were excellent to work with. It is obvious that each member of the team takes pride in their work, and it shows in the finished product. The guys were all very respectful of our home, and we had no problem leaving them to complete their work while we were out. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend All About Awesome to those needing general home remodels, repairs or upgrades.

I hired All About Awesome Construction to remodel my kitchen and bathroom. Their work was excellent, I am very pleased with both projects. Ben Roberson and his employees are kind, trustworthy and respectful. They showed up promptly at 8 every morning, always working a full day. There was a minor delay but throughout Ben kept in close communication. I highly recommend AAA Construction and will definitely use them again for any future projects.

This company deserves its name, "Awesome." I can't say enough good things about this company. Ben and Peter arrived on time and pulled out the dishwasher, hoping they could access the sheet-metal cover without having to pull out the base cabinet. The cover, however, was still partially concealed by the base cabinet but they were able to pull that out without damaging the cabinet or the counter top. So not only did they create access to the vent but they went ahead and reconnected the vent so that I could continue getting heat (1/3) into the kitchen but now get (2/3's) in the second-story bedroom above. They are problem-solvers, first rate! In addition, they recaulked around the countertop and cleaned up well when they were through. Very professional.

When I saw what a mess the previous carpenter had left, and had refused to fix, we were under an extremely tight timeline and didn't know how to get this redone quickly, as painters were coming in the next week to paint our home. We were in a jam, so I went on Angies list on a Saturday and found All About Awesome Construction. I called them...Ben (the owner) answered the phone. He was incredible. He said he would have one of his carpenters out first thing Monday morning. Pete came out and had a great attitude, was friendly, very courteous, professional in appearance, and redid everything so it looks great and is now done properly. When he saw the "make-shift" flashing the previous carpenter did, he asked us to zip over to the local hardware store and we got what he needed. Pete exceeded our expectations at every turn. Wow...how refreshing. We are going to hire them to install a new custom front entry door next. Ben is going to coordinate with the architect and structural engineer if we need a new larger header.

Excellent job - good communication, showed up when agreed upon, and did more than I asked for. Work with Ben, he wants to make sure everything is clear and understood before agreeing on a job, but after you get the details hammered out, you'll see that it really is: All About Awesome. I've lived in Evergreen for over 30 years, worked with a lot of handymen, Ben is right up at the top. thanks!

This is the second time I have used AAA Construction. They absolutely live up to their name. Ben and his crew are the best--they are punctual, reliable, honest, hard working and always put the customer's input first. They are very focused on client satisfaction and results and do their utmost to see that the job lives up to your expectations. In fact, they are so good that I plan to use them for a 3rd time next year for additional remodeling. AAA has become like a "second family" and I wouldn't use anyone else.

From start to finish working with Ben Roberson is a sincere pleasure. He is personable, detailed, thorough and honest as the day is long. We were doing this project long distance and Ben kept me informed and asked questions constantly to make sure he was doing the work the way I wanted. He'd send pics if I didn't understand the question and never, ever was impatient with me not getting exactly what he was asking, working with me until he was sure I could make an informed decision. He's resourceful and consulted as needed with the architects and engineer to make sure the project was being done right. He always let me know where we were on the permitting and inspections schedule and sent me copies of all paperwork. The finished product is beautiful. I've used very good contractors in the past and Ben would be at the top of that list. He really cares about the quality of his work and his subs were excellent, too. I would recommend him very, very highly and with zero hesitation.

From the first phone conversation, I felt a certain level of trust with Ben (Owner). I had hired another general contractor who had backed out on me and I needed someone fast. Ben was able to get me a quote quickly and within my budget and within 2 weeks had crews on site. Before any work started he held a mini pre construction meeting with me to ensure everyone was on the same page.The entire project went great. They replaced the old brick mold trim with new 2x6 cedar wood to give in a more updated look, and approx 200 lf of siding that had failed and routed due to weather and aging. They also replaced all the pickets on 2 sides of my fence, and built me a new double gate, installed a new front door and new storm door. He also hire a subcontractor to replace my concrete driveway , walkway and porch.All material that was used was top of the line. No warped boards, no cheap, thin pickets.The thing that impressed the the most was the schedule and communication. Once the job started his crew was onsite until it was finished. And anytime I had questions or concerns, the crew was eager to answer my questions and keep me abreast of the progress. Ben was also very involved in the project and available to discuss any issues and always answered his phone or returned a text. The crew on site was easy to communicate with and understand and there was no language barrier.I would recommend Ben and his crews for any project you might have, and plan on using him in the future for a bathroom tiling project and a basement finishing job.

They did a good job. They were thorough and they have good communication. Overall, positive experience.

I had a water pipe freeze and burst in my basement while I was away for 4 days. Three feet of water in the sub basement with a half of inch of water standing on the unfinished ply-boarding. After having the water extracted Ben and his crew were hired to remove all of the stinky rotting ply-board, repair a few cuts in the vapor barrier and replace the flooring. This was a nasty, messy job but Ben and his crew did a super job. They were extremely professional and started and ended the work on schedule.I would highly recommend All About Awesome and look forward to working with them again in the future.

The workers were very good we were very pleased. I spent about $3500. We have 1920 stone steps that are between our driveway down to our house so we're older folks now and my husband had put in some railings but after falling and breaking one of his hips last Christmas we decided to have other railings put in. They were pleasant people, they gave us some ideas about the project and he researched the best price materials. We wanted something that was supportive and didn't look too bad and we decided to go with wood instead of a metal cap and the work came out very nicely. It snowed a lot yesterday and the rails are broad enough to get your hands around them easily. They took out a very large tree in a corner that was in the way so that they could put the rail in. I thought their price was very reasonable.

I would not hesitate to use AAA Construction again or to recommend that my friends and family do the same. From the moment I contacted Ben he was fast, creative and courteous. This was a hard job that required the ability to think outside the box. Ben did just that and I could not be happier with the result. His price was fair. He responded immediately to my request for a quote and started work on the job within 24 hours. It was a seamless experience. I originally found Ben through Angie's List and hope that others in a similar position reach out to AAA Construction for a chance to do the job. They deserve the opportunity to earn your business and you won't be disappointed.

As a single woman, hiring someone who is trustworthy, honest, and does business with integrity was my biggest concern. I got all that and more with Ben, Dan and Randy. The whole experience was way better than I could have hoped for. That's not to say there weren't problems...unexpected issues and costs, mistakes, over two weeks living with a port-o-let, decisions (really only one) made without my consent...but through it all it was crystal clear that these guys were completely invested in my satisfaction and doing the best work possible. I especially appreciated working with a small business where the owner was on the job everyday, and the three guys focused on just my project without overlapping it with another job. I am so pleased with my choice to work with Ben and his crew; they are really good people and their work is exceptional.

I hired Ben to work remotely on this house to get it finished and ready for sale, as we have moved to Washington state. The basement had been almost finished, but we had not obtained a permit when we did the work. This meant tearing holes in the drywall (over 200) so that state inspectors could examine the wiring and give approval for electrical rough in. Ben's job was to make things look like new after the electrical and county inspections for rough in were complete. I trusted Ben to get the work done while living over 1000 miles away - and he came through with flying colors. Ben kept in contact with me throughout the process, supplying photos and making sure that I could see the progress. We hit some snags when the water baseboard heating upstairs started leaking - causing us to have to stop work and reschedule. Ben remained professional and helpful throughout and helped us work through the problems. Ben was always up front with his estimates of work and any problems encountered - and worked through everything to give us a beautifully finished open basement, completely approved by the county and state. I can't recommend Ben highly enough. He is trustworthy, honest, and bent on doing excellent work. If you're looking for someone to do any kind of remodelling or finishing in your home - stop looking and call Ben. Seriously.. stop looking - you found what you were looking for!
