Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

They performed the work as a warranty job. We were very happy that they had honored a warranty on cleaning out the pipe a few years ago. They did a great job!

I call @ 6:00pm and by 7:45 Adriel(#5868) was at my house working on my main line. Adriel was a great guy, he was very worried about great my drain back to there best. Thank you so much Adriel!! From the first call to the end I was very impressed with the whole company.

Technician was able to tighten the connection of the disposal with the underside of the kitchen sink.

The loose connection caused the drainage from the kitchen sink to leak on the cabinet floor under the sink. I called the main office Monday morning and the office personnel stated that they could send a plumber that afternoon in a four hour window from Noon to 4 PM. I was called again at 3:30 to inform me that the technician would be delayed due to another job. I was called again at 4:15 to inform me that the technician was on his way. The technician arrived at 4:30. The technician, Caleb Mazzurco, was able to quickly diagnose the source of the leak and to make the necessary repairs. He was polite and asked if I had any other plumbing issues that he could address. He did not push me to do a drain line clean-out even though I raised the issue due to occasional slow drainage from the kitchen sink. We discussed the cost for the service but after additional conversation with him I elected to forgo the drain line clean-out.

It went well, but there was no explanation as to what the issue was.

They charged me sixty bucks to hit the reset button on my garbage disposal. He looked at it, knew what was wrong and then made me sign an invoice before telling me. I guess I'm the sucker but I still felt cheated afterwards. I guess I should just google it beforehand.

Punctual, respectful, kind, and fair price, no price gouging, which was a wonderful thing. Great customer service!

They have always been our clean-out people, so we've always felt the price was competitive. I did not take other bids on the price. Their price is usually fair.

They snaked our main line. They were able to come the same day I called. The service was really quick.They have warranty on their work. No improvements needed.

Service was great and fast, called and had someone in within the hour. My Technician, Sean F, was great, he helped me find savings and worked within my budget and gave me some quotes on other work I needed to be done around the house. I would differently call them again. They did try to send along a restoration specialist with the Technician but she was very friendly and to her credit advised me that the damage was minium and she did not recommnd doing the work to replace beems and walls.

We felt scanned and feel bad for anyone who pays that much who might not need to.

Scheduled appointments for 3 times and no one from Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services showed up or followed up. Would not recommend.

They didn't check with me before they drove across the front of my lawn. They did a little bit of damage there that they didn't tell me about. I just found out about it last week.

Excellent! They worked quickly and answered all of my questions. They were on time and called ahead to let me know they were on their way.

Fixed very quickly. Did a great job!

First, I had a feeling I should not go with them because they would not give me any idea of cost, not even ballpark, before coming to the house and hauling up their equipment. Second, I chose roto rooter because they said they could come up the soonest, but then they ended up coming a day later. Third, they could not manage getting the power snake up our driveway without the help of my handyman who just happened to be available, as they did not have a four wheel drive vehicle. I had been very clear with them that they needed a four wheel drive vehicle to come up our snowy driveway. Fourth, they told me, as a way to test the line, to flush an upstairs toilet which resulted in septic sewage spewing up in the lower level bathroom. Fifth, the technician came back shortly after leaving and said he needed an additional fifteeen dollars which I paid, but did get a new receipt. Sixth, because of the sewage, the technician called the water restoration wing of roto rooter, who said it could cost me 1200 to clean a small space of about 4 by 4 feet, and that they would send me a check for $200 to reduce the cost of unblocking the clog. I called them twice to remind them and made sure they had the right address, but they never sent the check. It all seems very unprofessional to me. However, they did successfully unblock the main line clog, and they came faster than other services. But I will not use them again because they did not give me the $200 check as promised. I managed to have the sewage spill cleaned using professional grade cleaning products for a fraction of the cost. I will also say that it was a little scary because the clog was at about 100 feet, and the technician told me that anything over 80 feet was risky because the snake might get permanently stuck. So, here I am, not knowing much about septic systems, and this guy is telling me, while the snake it going in, that my septic line might have to be opened up of the snake gets stuck, and apparently, it would be the risk I had to take, right then and there. Fortunately the main line got unclogged, but it was nerve wracking. This whole episode made me feel like they were taking advantage of the emergency of having a clogged septic line to charge me what they wanted and to take risks without allowing me to get a second opinion. And then offering to give me a $200 check and not following through after two reminders.

We live kind of far out and they were more than willing to travel to us. He was able to unclog the drain completely and we haven't had a problem with it at all. They are very quick, show up quickly and get it done. They didn't leave until it was completely unclogged!

Jack arrived on time and promptly went to work, removing and reinstalling the the toilets. He found and showed me, a broken bolt in the flange and advised me that he needed to get a new flange and bolts. I knew he could identify the correct parts more readily than I, so I authorized him to go get new parts. He returned quickly, showed me the receipt, finished the install, and cleaned up.

Well I called on 21 January, explained the problem and was told a plumber would be out to my home anywhere from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. I then got a call at 8:00 pm saying that the only plumber around had their truck break down and that they would have to reschedule. So I waited today, 22 January with a window from 10 am to 2:00 pm. At 12:30 I got a call saying that I wasn't forgotten. Then at 3:15 I got a call saying that they only have one plumber and that there's no way he would be at my house before 4:00 or 4:30 pm. This company is a complete joke. You have one plumber? One truck? You put people through the misery of waiting and never show. This was a job that could have netted your company almost 2K and you could have cared less.

It turned out fine except for they left the toilet kind of rocks when you use it and I’m waiting for them to come out this morning to fix that. They were supposed to come out this morning but I’m still waiting. They had 2 visits and they still couldn’t figure it out so they brought out a guy with a camera and they ended up replacing the sewer line out behind the house and before they did that though, they thought it was maybe the toilet and so that’s when they fixed the toilet and it isn’t fixed. So everything else went fine but they’ve got to come back and fix that toilet. I don’t have anything else to compare their price so I guess its okay. I mean it’s a lot, I didn’t want to pay that but that’s what it was. For the other work that they did, they came out quickly and they got it done quickly. The workers were fine.

The service was absolutely fabulous. The branches from the tree on the outside of the house was plugging it up. He snaked it and he did a fabulous job. It was a nice young man. I actually went on to the website, to Roto-Rooter and put a complement in for him. I wrote a review. I didn't get charged, my mom did because it was my mom's home, I just stayed there with my mom. She didn't complain at all. I would tell a member or a friend to contact the young man that helped us, I don't know about anybody else.

Mike Kapraszewski and Mark were wonderful! We had not considered that the cabinet we had bought ahead of time might not conform with the original, 42-year-old plumbing set-up. Over the years we have found out the hard way that everything is just "off" of today's specs. Mike and Mark suggested and detailed for us what could be done. This involved drilling holes in a wall and the cabinet and moving pipes and P-trap. They were skilled, patient, and friendly. They did everything just as they had said they could. The work they did was stellar and the clean-up afterwards was as well. Thank you for a job very well done!

Very well. He came early and cleared the drain from the sink. Was pretty expensive but work was excellent.

I am so impressed with this company and especially Mike K, Tech 2027. He is respectful of our home, friendly, good-hearted and takes pride in his work. I trust him -- which is a wonderful quality to have in a plumber tech. Roto-Rooter is fortunate to have Mike K on their team. Over the years, there once there was a challenge and a misstep and this company made good on their end of the situation and left us feeling thrilled with the outcome. That is the sign of an exceptional company. (Thanks I know when it comes time this spring to replace the clay pipes, I will call your company to do the job. Keep up the great work!

Roto-Rooter (6701 E. 50th Avenue, Commerce City) got a technician out to me at 10 PM one hour after I called; that is fast service. I had water backing up to our floor drain in our basement, and clearly a blocked line somewhere. The technician (Mike, technician number 2027Mike)) was extraordinarily courteous and friendly. When I told him my daughter was asleep, he instantly dropped his voice and worked in everything he did to be as quiet as possible. He quickly diagnosed the problem (clog downstream of the cleanout) and cleaned the line of some roots. He was forthright with his analysis and cordial. The cost to cleanout the system was $329, which he told me before he started the work and had me confirm that I wanted the work done. I don't know if that is a good or bad value -- I was willing to pay anything to get it fixed, but it seemed reasonable for a late night call. In the end, he got the work done quickly, was very professional and open about what he thought the problem was, fixed our issue, and said they guarantee the work for six months. I would definitely call them again (but hopefully won't have to).
