“Republic non-services” ... unreliable, lies on the phone when calling about (continual) missed pickups - says they will call me back... never happens. They reschedule a missed pickup, and never pickup. I don't know how this company is still in "business". It is not a "business" it is a legitimized con artist posing as a trash collection company... and they get away with it. Very, very disappointed and angry. They clearly do not value their customers. Actions (or lack thereof) speak louder than words. Wish I could rate them a negative star.

I called on 8/11/20 to cancel my service because of a change in Republic Services' policy re lawn bags, from five lawn bags per pick-up free to $6 per bag. I was told my cancellation would not be effective until the end of the month. IT'S THE PUSH OF A COMPUTER BUTTON! Being pushed around by a computer is not my idea of any kind of good service and makes me even more glad that I'm ending my business relationship with Republic.

Were told by supervisors that trash would be picked up day after complaint. When not picked up and called back was told 'someone cancelled the pickup, and would resume next scheduled day'. So calling did not move things along. Repeated weeks waiting for problem to correct did not result in them fixing their internal problems. Am cancelling my service!
Description of Work: I have weekly pick up services and bi weekly recycling services. For the last month and 1/2 my trash pick up has been almost non-existent. Weekly pickups were missed, with no follow up by the company. When called was told they were having 'manpower issues'. Repeated calls resulted in nothing! Weekly pick up went to bi monthly pickup, but we are paying for weekly. Speaking to customer service and supervisors did nothing. Were told too bad by very rude personnel. Will cancel my service and NEVER RECOMMEND them to anyone! Expecting trash to sit two weeks in 90º - 100º degree weather is appaling. Not contacting customers and notifying of problem is just horrible business practice.

They were definitely over priced. They were not treating my renters right. We had a rental, and they did not do the job well. They were not picking up all the trash. I was patient with them for a long time.
Description of Work: The did an invoice for trash removal.
