Unfortunately most of the items on the contract were not completed. Once Kenny realized that the remaining work to complete the contract or fix the damage that was done would cost more than the amount we still owed him he stopped responding to our calls/emails.Electrical (Incomplete) - Kennyand acirc;??s crew left the west side of basement and sprinkler system without power.Plumbing (Incomplete) - Although the kitchen remodel permit Kenny pulled covered the kitchen sink he told us that for this remodel the kitchen sink was not and acirc;??in the scope of the contractand acirc;??. We had to hire a plumber to reconnect our kitchen sink which seemed odd. Be careful on that kind of think with Kenny.Window Replacements (incomplete) - On several occasions he mentioned that the windows were and acirc;??on their wayand acirc;??. Never happened.Hardwood Floor (incomplete) - the sub he hired to do this gave an estimate to do the job and then before my wife and I said and acirc;??okand acirc;?? I found him at the house doing the work. He never came back to complete the 3 coat of finish we were told would be done.Load bearing wall removal (complete) - Kenny just followed the engineerand acirc;??s instructions.HVAC (incomplete) - This is a disaster. In Dec/Jan, Kenny told me he had solved the issue of how to re-route the HVAC to the back bedrooms after removing the abovementioned wall. Sounds great, right? Turns out he either never tested it or knew there was no air flow and decided to lie about it. Then three things happened in this sequence that were strange. 1) Kenny came over with a booster fan to see if he could get air flow to the top floors (nope), then 2) he told me that his HVAC guy had told him this wouldn't work and even later 3) he told me that he talked to my wife about this months ago and how he wanted to do heat registers instead. I got the impression he was making things up as he went. Since then we have had other contractors in for the HVAC. They (very well known and very good ratings on Angieand acirc;??s List) have commented on the workmanship on the HVAC. One guy was just pissed off that someone would do work like this. Another told us that he (Kenny) just didn't know what he was doing.In the face of all of this we had completed payments to Dorrance Drywall, LLC totaling 80% of the estimate and he still persisted that we and quot;had unpaid billsand quot; and yet he would not address the list of items that needed fixing.So this is basically our and acirc;??Punch Listand acirc;?? that remains from our contract Dorrance Drywall, LLC. I would caution you from hiring Dorrance Drywall, LLC or Kenneth Dorrance for any project you have. He really botched this up.
