Description of Work: I noticed a gutter coming loose near the top of my 2 story house and also could see some soffit and fascia damage from the ground. Found Paulo's on Angie's list under gutter repair and replacement. Called and and got a voice mail message from Mike Atencio to which i left a message indicating I would like to get an estimate on some gutter repair work and left my name and number. After 3 days and no call back I called the other number shown on the Angie's listing which was answered with "hullo". I asked if this was Paulo's and he ackowledged that it was. I told him I had left a message for Mike a couple of days earlier asking for an estimate. He said, "Oh yeah, Mike told me today that he was going to call you". Next day Mike did call me, apoligized for the delay explaining that he goes in for dialysis 3 times a week. I explained what I saw with my gutter and soffit damage and he said he would come out and look at it and prepare an estimate. He said if no one was home he would leave a business card on the front door. I think it was the next day that I found his card on the front door so I knew he had been there. While waiting to hear back from him, it occurred to me that I ought to have a roof inspection done to determine if there was more damage there. I called my State Farm agent and was given a couple of companies that could do the roof inspection. I called one of them, B&R Exteriors, and explained my gutter problem and that I needed a roof inspection. They had to wait a few days to do the roof inspection because of snow on the roof, but when it melted Leighton Fowler came out and did the inspection and then met with me. He explained that there was no roof damage, so State Farm would not be paying anything. As for the gutter and soffit damage he recommended replacing gutters all the way around the house with new, seamless gutters explaing that I could expect more damage otherwise. I asked him to prepare and estimate which he said would take a few more days which it did. After a few more days B & R came back with an estimate of $1,200 to replace all the gutters and $1,900 to replace gutters and downspouts. I wanted to think it over and the next day, approximately 2 1/2 weeks after my first call to Paulo's I got a call from Mike Atencio where he said he and Paulo had prepared and estimate and he could come by and see me or email it to me. I asked him to email it and received the email the next day. His estimate said: Scope of work: Repair and replace soffit, fascia, and gutter on 2nd level in the front. Approx. 35lf. Paint to match soffit and fascia. Total $1900.00 Option to clean gutters. Total $150.00 for a Grand Total of $2100.00. So I decided to spend $1200 to get all the gutters replace instead of $2100 to get 35 feet repared/replace and the rest cleaned. B&R completed the work today.

Description of Work: Very professional and prompt appointment for estimate. Won't hesitate to use them in the future but they were a little higher than the competition this time. Mike is a very likable guy and came across as very dedicated to quality and honesty.

Description of Work: Repair man showed up on time and completed the job with excellent professionalism. He also pointed out that the gutters that were installed by another company were not installed correct. Since then I called the original company and they came out and correcter the problem.

Description of Work: We had holes in our siding from woodpeckers. We didn't know who to call to repair this, but saw that Paulo's had a good review on Angie's list and called to see if they could do it. Paulo came out, gave me an estimate, returned the next week to replace the area with 4 pieces of new siding and painted it.

Description of Work: Paulo replaced our decrepit wood siding with James Hardie siding. Using a hard working crew of two to three men, Paulo prepared the house for the new siding; wrapped the house in thick insulation; and installed the factory painted James Hardie siding. He also arranged for, and oversaw the installation of new gutters and downspouts. He replaced the wrought iron posts holding up the porch roof with wood, wrapped in the new siding and put new trim around all of the windows. He also brought in a painter to paint our garage door to match the new trim. After completing the job he came back and installed new shutters as well.
