So, during a cold snap it got down to 44deg in our house! Rod had installed the AC when we first bought the house years ago, and we call him everytime there is a problem with our AC/Heater. I had to call him a couple of times, and left several messages to get in contact with him, We set a day and time, and he explained that he had another job to do prior to mine, but he would get to me no problem. The prior job took longer than he thought, so he didnt arrive until about 6pm. I gave him a few points off for punctuality and responsivness for those reasons, but Rod is the best and I only let him work on my HVAC system. Rod is dedicated at customer service and stayed until the job was done, almost 8PM! He discovered that the system was cooling and heating at the same time, and that the thermostat was the culprit. He had a spare in his truck so he replaced it and tested, everything worked fine. Rod is a great guy. He does a lot of work around the southern Colorado area for businesses, so he stays busy, and he does not do any advertising, it is all word of mouth. I highly recomend Rod to work on your AC and or water heating system. While he was here, we spoke about a tankless water heater. He installed one in his house, and he claims it works great. I was thinking of getting one, but the naysayers said that they didn't work at this altitude. Rod said you had to engineer it for the size of your house to make it work well, and he convinced me that I really could do a tankless water heater here in Colorado. We are saving for that time when we can install one, and you can bet that I am going to call Rod to install it.
