Viking Remodeling And Landscaping

This company was not a reputable company. I would take them off my list for one thing. They are on the net on another company name, on the Ethan company name. We found all this out later on and we hired one of their contractors to finish the job without the owner having an involvement. He took our money and ran off with it. He took about $3,000. It was very expensive. We wanted something that would stay forever, I wouldn't have to paint it because we have a lot of hail and snow. Our other stairway, it rotted because of the amount of rain that we had this past Spring. We were in dire need of the railing being repaired because it was rotted away and it was dangerous. My husband is on oxygen so we needed to repair this as soon as possible. It took about four weeks to have it done. He quit Viking and worked for us. The owner was very apologetic and said that his foreman had ran off the money. We come to the conclusion that it wasn't the foreman, it was him. He wanted to do more jobs around the house. We have some neighbors across the street that previously knew him. He went over there and was doing some repair work, some flood control, I guess because their basement was getting flooded by their neighbor's house. As it turned out, the Viking company's crew worked for about a day and a half and then never came back. So, he took their money. He took their $3,000 and ran off with it and his crew never came back. They hired another company to finish the job. I know of two and there's another one on the website that said don't ever hire anybody that's driving a white pick up truck that has Ethan or Viking company on the door.
