+ -1 moreWe heard about Trail's End Homebuilders (Shaun and Jennifer) from our neighbors who had some re-modeling done. They are really great to work with. The total project took a little longer than expected, but that was partly due to our adding a few changes along the way, availability of workers, weather and material delays. The project involved electricians, plumbers (for the gas line), HVAC (for the fireplace and vents), carpenters for framing, the plant shelf, mantle and bookcase, stucco workers, interior drywall hangers and finishers and tile workers for the stone work. And of course county building inspectors. Considering the number of people involved the project went very well. We are very pleased with the quality workers that Shaun and Jennifer provided and with the great look of our new living room.
Description of Work: The project was a living room re-model. An existing gas fireplace which vented through the wall to the outside deck area was relocated to a newly framed interior wall. This required venting through the ceiling and roof and re-routing the gas line. An existing fixed pane window was removed and replaced by a large 8.5 x 5 foot window. A glass topped plant shelf was built at window sill level and runs the full length of the window plus a little extra on each side. The new wall where the fireplace is now located also features a built in bookcase and stacked stone (travertine) veneer. The travertine stone was also applied to the surface under the plant shelf. The wood floor where the fireplace was located was patched to match the existing flooring. Wall and ceiling drywall and exterior stucco patched, textured and matched to existing surfaces. A wood mantle was installed above the fireplace and electrical and cable outlets were installed above the mantle along with a mounting bracket for a flat panel television.

We've been very happy with all results and plan to have Trails End LLC begin a major remodel of our home in April.
Description of Work: Sean and Jennifer have done major design and remodeling work to our home including roof and soffit repair front entryway redesign and construction and plumbing and electrical repair.

+ -1 moreThe builder. Shawn Walker, was prompt, thorough, did excellent work and was a delight to work with. His wife, Jennifer Walker, is an excellent designer. She also is excellent to work with. Their subs were trustworthy and did quality work. We were very satisfied with the process and the results.
Description of Work: 1260 sq ft Ranch style addition with full walkout basement plus 360 sq ft attached greenhouse and 2 decks Addition included 2 baths, rec room with swim spa, large garage, living room, master suite.
