Called and waited over 2 weeks for a service appointment. On the day of the appointment (which was 2:00 PM) I received a voice mail message from the tech at 1:15 PM stating he is running late and that he can't get to me until 3:30 PM or 4:00 PM. Since I waited over 2 weeks for an appointment, I cancelled my late afternoon appointments to wait for the technician. No one ever called or showed up. I wrote an email to the owner that evening complaining about the no show and did not hear back from them for another 2 days. In her email she stated her technician called a second time at 4:45 PM to cancel the appointment and left a voice mail message. No call or voice mail message was ever received on my phone according to my phone log. I was home the entire afternoon and had my phone with me. I cancelled all afternoon appointments with clients and missed a client holiday event waiting for the technician to show up. Sound Shop has no respect for my time and schedule and has technicians who don't know how to schedule or communicate with customers.

Techs they sent out were very friendly. The job took a couple appointments due to parts issues, but all was done well and in budget.

Over about 7 years we have spent over $4,000. with Sound Shop. They would come and install and make sure we knew how to work the system. They had returned for install upgrades twice to the system. We are having a problem with the receiver and called to have someone come out to take a look. I talked to a man who took my info and he said the person to schedule the appt was not available but would return my call. It has been two weeks and I have not gotten a call. Previously I had called about a sonos install question and I had to call back more than once to get an answer. I am currently looking for a new company to help me now and in the future.

These guys were great. The job took a while but they stayed until it was done.

They have very reasonable pricing. It's one of the few non-chain stereo stores in the area. They've been in busniess for while and know the trade well. They have very knowledgable staff and a very nice showroom with equiptment demonstartions.
