Description of Work: Chris dug out the front yard (deadl grass); tilled the soil; added a soil/loam mix and laid new sod. This was all done in one day and on budget. It's been almost two weeks and I could not be more pleased with the total job! I would recommend Chris anyone who asked.

 + -1 moreChris is the owner of Superior Sod. My friend used him and was pleased, so that's all I needed to know.I've gotten many bids now for my front yard job. Most have been very high and mdash; $3K - $5K. Chris came in the lowest, but that's not the only reason I used him. He was really laid back and easy going. He didn't come into my job all doom and gloom. For all you home owners out there that have a BIG landscaping job to do, this guy could be your man. He wasn't trying to scare me into big money like the other guys. He was relaxed and calm. And most importantly, he had no problem taking over where I left off. I had done a fair amount of sprinkler work and manifold rebuilding, but couldn't complete the job. Chris was like, and ldquo;no problem.and rdquo;I had other contractors come in and insult me to my face, saying that they needed to rip all that out and start over. No thanks.
Description of Work: Superior Sod ripped out all the weeds in my front wasteland, updated three sprinkler zones (two for sod, one for drip), hauled pre-existing mulch and laid it around shrubs and bushes. They also finished off the sprinkler box work I had started, including programming my timer.Only things they didn't get quite right (some drip specifics, aligning one head, etc.) were rectified.Really nice work, very happy.
