StoneCroft Construction is the best company I have worked with in all my 30 years of owning a home and doing remodeling projects. Owner, Phil Purdy communicates with you so you know what to expect. His crew workers are spectacular, kind and professional. They never left a mess for you to clean up. Their work is perfection. The project exceeded my expectation. So much so I am having a deck "THANK YOU" party for them.

StoneCroft Construction recently replaced our old wooden deck with a steel frame, composite deck & stairs. Philip Purdy and his small, talented Stonecroft Construction Team are EXCEPTIONAL! Philip has very high standards and he runs his business with absolute integrity. Before we started, Philip offered suggestions on design and products. We followed his suggestions as he knows the quality and capabilities of all the available deck building materials and how they hold up in the Colorado climate/conditions. Because of his design and steel framing expertise, we were able to modify our deck footprint to add square footage to the deck, even after they started installing the deck joists. All permits, approvals and inspections from the Pikes Peak Regional Building office were flawless. Philip's Team is meticulous in their measuring, leveling, cutting, fit & finish, and detail work - this attention to detail clearly shows in the final product. I researched deck builders for 2 years before I chose StoneCroft. It was worth the wait now that I see firsthand the quality of their work every time I step foot on my deck. About a 2 week project. Really liked Phil and his crew. Very hard workers. Helped us plan our deck and were respectful of our budget. Were able to start ahead of his projected timeframe. Responsive and professional.

It went really well from the first meeting where Philip did not try to sell me on the most expensive deck and where all the extras that the other guys charged more for were already included, such as flashing, invisible fasteners and screw pilings. They only do steel framing too which is a huge plus because it is straight and square and it will stay that way. Plus, steel is so much stronger than wood we were able to use one less post than my old deck even though this deck is larger.

Steel framing and stairs were a major design point that my wife and I used in considering StoneCroft as our contractor. These new decks replaced our thirty year old front and back decks. With steel and trex materials we have no doubt our new decks will serve us very well. Phillip the owner and his crew were absolute professionals in all aspects of construction, and communicating with us.

There are far too many construction firms in the Colorado Springs region that merely hard sell decks. StoneCroft Construction knows well how to build the highest quality decks! Impeccable design! Philip has superior communication skills, no significant surprises arose and the total cost fell well under the estimate. Building material prices rose during the pandemic, Philip ensured through timely order placement that our deck project beat all projected price increases. The diligent, dependable, punctual, skilled crew worked around Colorado winter weather to produce a very fine result. The well constructed Fortress frame & Trex deck thrills us. We enjoy total satisfaction as the result of StoneCroft Construction’s outstanding service!

In 2015, we decided to replace our deck. Based on a recommendation from a friend, we hired StoneCroft Construction to do the work. Philip and J.D. provided us with an estimate for the work, and it when it was completed - on time and on budget, it looked great! This past summer (2020), we noticed that some under-decking was loose. I asked them to come back and fix it. They repaired it -better than new, and they did not bill us. While making this minor repair, Philip noticed the paint on the metal railing was chipping and faded. On his own initiative, he contacted the vendor, and they replaced all of the railing under a warranty program. I thanked them, and they said, "We want it to be done right; the way we would want it done at our own place." It does not get any better than that! (It is snowing today, so no pictures. Maybe I can add them later.)

Philip and his team did an outstanding job of constructing our deck. Utilizing a steel frame for the deck, steel frame for the stairs and Trex composite decking it came out as strong and as perfect as we could have possibly hoped for. The project was completed faster than projected with awesome efficiency. And it's beautiful. We highly recommend Philip and Stonecroft Construction

Exceptional quality, service, and value! I see decks in El Paso County almost every day in my work, nothing comes close to this level of quality and craftsmanship. They show up when they say they will be there. Very good communication through the entire process. I would highly recommend this team.

It has been a absolute pleasure working with Philip and his team. When we had our first meeting, he mentioned that he would construct the new deck, as if he was doing it for his own home. He kept his word. There was some dry rot because the original builder did a terrible job at mitigate water between the house and the original deck. Philip pointed it out and fixed it. He put additional flashing between the house and the deck to prevent it from happening again. He definitely went above and beyond on everything. One of the reasons that he was chosen to construct the new deck, was because he used steel for all the rafters and steel for the stair stingers. Other contractors wanted to used steel rafters, but wood stair stringers. Which I didn’t want. Not only that, they wanted thousands more for using steel. With Philip, he used steel everywhere and was still cheaper than the other guys. His entire team was friendly and professional. If I has to get another deck done, I would hire him again. I would certainly recommend him to my friends. He did an awesome job. He was honest. He was a good communicator and kept me informed on every step of the process. I highly recommend him!

Amazing group of guys who took our old unfinished deck and turned it into our dream deck. Super communicative throughout the entire project. Highly recommended if your looking to have the perfect home project done! We will definitely be using this company again in the future.

Stonecroft Construction built us a stunning deck and pergola. Philip took the time to really listen to us and made our vision come to life. He was in constant contact with us and the whole crew was friendly and courteous at all times. Their attention to detail is superior. They showed up on time, worked hard and cleaned up every evening before they left. When they were done building we were sad to see them go because we felt like we were friends. Philip and his crew were great to work with and did excellent work. I always felt that I could trust them at the site. They finished the project on schedule despite encountering structural issues with my house that were not visible until the old deck was removed. The job site was kept very clean through the whole process. I would strongly recommend them. Their price was very competative with the other quotes I received but they were the most technically competent of all the crews I interviewed and had quote the job.

This new maintenance-free deck is beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the results. Truly professional, on-time, on-budget.

Philip and his crew did an excellent job repair my 20 year old deck support beams and decking. The new deck is separated from the existing deck and Philip matched them so they look like they were built at the same time. They told me what time they'd be there and they were punctual and professional. The work was completed on time and at the cost quoted. At the end of each day the site was cleaned and tools stored. I am very happy with the work done. For the shading Philip work with us to get the material we wanted. We went through several versions until we found the right materials and design...Philip was very helpful providing the right solution for us. We're ecstatic. Highly recommend Philip and StoneCroft Construction...I will definitely use him again.
