Rowe and MacPhail were incredible and we will absolutely hire them again. They finished our basement and did an incredible job. They were punctual and professional throughout the job. They were flexible and understanding as changes came up. They are genuinely good people who do genuinely good work.

I have had issues since moving to Colorado Springs with several contractors. This was decidedly not the case with Rowe and McPhail. From start to finish, they were the ultimate professionals. The best thing was the communications. Malcolm was continually messaging or calling me with updates or changes to the plans. I always knew where we were with the project. This seems to be a difficult thing to grasp with some others, and I really appreciated their efforts in this area. As far as their work, it was excellent. We needed to take two garage doors to make one larger door, and that entailed some intricate work, but it was done flawlessly. We are very happy with the end project. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting an excellent job. You will get it from them.

It went well. It turned out just how I imagined it would. We went from 1 sink to now having 2 sinks. Love the waterproof flooring. The toilet with bidet it amazing! We are going to have them do our master bathroom next.

It went well. Many contractors never even responded to the voicemails left. They did and I'm thankful. I know it wasn't a big job, but it was a job I really wanted done. They did a fabulous job helping to guide me in the decisions that I needed to make. Work was completed fairly close to the date they had projected. Would hire them again if needed!! Highly recommend them!!!

We have hired contractors on a series of different projects. Sean and Malcolm were head and shoulders above anyone we have ever used. The communication was excellent, they were patient with our changes, the workmanship was spot on, and the price was very fair. We offer our strongest recommendation and in the near future we plan to hire them for several other major jobs.

What knowledgeable professionals! What value! Sean Rowe and Malcolm MacPhail are focused on customer satisfaction and have the skillset to make that happen. They have access to suppliers and subcontractors and can accomplish challenging remodeling tasks. I had them knock down a kitchen wall, retile the floor, remove old cabinetry, order, receive, and install new cabinetry, rewire blind and difficult electrical runs to the circuit box, remove, replace, and replumb a kitchen sink, disposal, and dishwasher. They relocated and replumbed a new refrigerator, and relocated and rewired a new microwave. Along the way, they extended another wall, hung sheetrock, and mudded, textured, and painted the final product. They leveled and squared EVERYTHING! They provided advice as I was defining my project and demonstrated integrity during the scope definition; their bid was 14% to 15% below the next lowest proposal. Throughout the process, they constantly controlled dust and debris and removed all trash every day. When the inevitable “… but I wanted it done this way...” happened, they were accommodating and fair in resolving issues. Recognizing that cost, schedule, and technical concerns form the 3 legs of every project stool, they balanced all three successfully and met all targets. Here's a tip o' me hat to some real pros. In the jargon of ISO international quality control, I am an "ecstatic customer."

My experience with Malcolm and Sean was outstanding! I had a triplex that needed a complete renovation. From the beginning, they helped design and plan to make the most out of the space and my budget. They provided a very fair estimate and completed the large project on budget and on time. They did quality work and made sure everything was done correctly and looked good and were flexible when I needed to make changes in the middle of the project. They showed up every day and they responded every time I called or emailed which is not my experience with other contractors. I can not recommend them highly enough and would absolutely use them again on my next project!

We couldn't have asked for a better team to finish our basement. When we moved into our house, the basement was purely insulation with a concrete floor. We imagined an entire new floorplan, and that's exactly what we got! Rowe & McPhail were able to bring our vision of a bedroom, walk-in closet, bathroom, small bar area, and family TV room to life! These men and the vendors they contract were always polite, punctual and considerate of the home they were walking into. If we ever had a question and sent an email late at night, Sean or Malcolm would always answer the next morning putting our minds at ease. The pay structure and any increases (we only had a few!) were laid out clearly, and promptly. No guesses or surprises! Now that we've had our basement for a few months, it has become our favorite floor in the house. Everything down to the walls, doors, and flooring has settled nicely. We can't wait to hire these guys again for other work in our house.

Sean & Malcolm (and their subcontractors) did amazing work on our kitchen remodel. They removed a wall, re-worked electrical, plumbing and ductwork, and installed cabinetry & trim. Eileen re-antiqued our cabinets and installed the backsplash. Their finish carpentry skills were outstanding as seen in the finished crown molding and cabinet installation. As with any remodel, there were challenges and obstacles to overcome, but Sean & Malcolm gave wise advise and came up with workarounds where needed. We would highly recommend Rowe & Macphail for any construction project.

It was perfect. They were very professional, good at communicating, very creative ideas, good at solving problems, and good design.
