He was scheduled to come on a Sunday afternoon. I had to change my plans to be here when he came but he never showed up! I was put out with him but realize that things come up. I don't think he called me but i did get an email from him apologizing. I decided to give him another chance. He did show up on schedule the next time. He did seem quite knowledgable. I have not had the chair done yet and I don't think I would rule out using Chas. I would get more estimates from different people and would like to see some of his work. Actually, I think he sent me some pics of work he had completed.

Fixed difficult-to-repair, valuable wooden chair

Very difficult to contact. Did not answer voice mail or email. Work was satisfactory.

I called three times and left three messages. He called me back once and left a message. I returned that call and never heard from him again. Non-existent customer service.

I arranged a time to drop off the chair, and Chas had it finished in a matter of days. He did a wonderful job restoring my chair to useable condition at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Chas' excellent work and his kind, professional manner.

Chas did an absolutely beautiful job. He is very professional, talented and easy to work with!

I sent Chas an email with pictures of the furniture. He responded with some questions and gave me an initial quote. He then suggested that he come to the house to personally inspect the furniture. He arrived at the appointed time. He seemed to be very knowledgeable about what it would take to complete the work and gave a firm quote which he wrote on the back of his business card. He also explained exactly what he would do. We agree to the price and he volunteered to take the furniture with him. He said that it would take 2-3 weeks to complete the work. He called 2 weeks later and said he was done and asked if we had the means to come pick up the furniture. We have a truck, so we went to his place of business and picked up the furniture that same day. The furniture looked great!
