 + -1 moreI have used Robertson's for years for lawn and grounds care at two properties. I have always been pleased with the quality of their work--their grounds crews are outstanding. However, I am less than pleased with the gauntlet I have to run every time I want to get something scheduled. And the bottleneck is always the same--Rick, the person in charge of scheduling. The latest example: I called last Tuesday to schedule spring yard cleanup at my mother's house. Since she has pets that have the run of the yard, this needs to be coordinated with her. I asked Rick to call her to do so, and he assured me he would. Friday noon I called my mother and asked if anyone from Robertson's had been in touch with her. They had not. I called Rick back and reminded him. He again said he would call her. I checked back with her that evening--no call from Rick. So now we're into next week, just to schedule the work, never mind actually perform it. This is the problem with Robertson's--you can never get anything done in a timely manner, because it takes weeks just to put you ON the schedule, and of course when Rick does finally get around to checking said schedule, it's already filled up weeks in advance (which is not surprising, because as I said their actual work is excellent). I really don't want to move to another lawn care company, but I am getting very tired of this same problem every time. Maybe this review will get someone's attention.

 + -1 moreI had severe flooding in my back yard as a result of the heavy rains last Sept 2013 & July 2014. Robertson's did a superb job grading my dog play area for drainage & installing 15 x 30 ft of synthetic grass for the dogs to play on. The area looks great & I'll never have water problems again. The work took approximately a week to accomplish due to the fact we had heavy rains & the excavation area was too muddy to work on. All the employees were courteous & professional. I highly recommend Robertson's Landscaping.
Description of Work: Robertson's Landscaping regraded my yard for proper drainage & installed synthetic grass for the dog play area. They did a wonderful job. All the workers were courteous & very professional.

Description of Work: Was contracted to do sprinkler service, lawn mowing and trimming, periodic fertilization of yard, trimming of shrubs and general yard upkeep from Nov. 2011 - Nov, 2012. Agreed upon Wednesday as my mowing day. My back gate is locked, so it is important to have a scheduled day so I could unlock my gate ahead of time, as I work and am not home to unlock gate. Some times, they came on the appointed day, other times not, so, of course my back yard was locked and I didn't get full service. Whenever I called the office, the office manager, Beth, always gave me a smarky answer with no satisfactory explanation. The billing service is terrible. One month I got a statement that showed no service on a Wednesday, my appointed day, but mowing service on a Monday and Friday of the same week. Once, again, no good answer from office manager. Was never notified when they would be coming for fertilizing or shrub trimming so, of course, if it wasn't on a wednesday, they could not get to my back yard. I would end up paying the full cost of the servic e when only my front yard was serviced. My front yard is quite small and the bulk of my yard is in the back, but it never got the agreed upon work. I thought Robertson's understood that if I was to receive any service on any day other than a Wednesday, I just needed a quick call or short email the day before so I could make sure my gate was unlocked. I think that is a reasonable request. On the positive side, the men that work the sprinkler service are great. Always pleasant, on time, and happy to explain things to me. I am a widow and have to depend on others to do a lot of things around my home. I hate it. Unfortunately, I think the largest problem revolves around the office manager. If she did her work and kept customers notified and could answer questions with someting rather than " I don't know" the residential service would be much better off. I once managed an office of 7 physicians and I was expected to know everything and I did. I have contracted with another company for lawn service this Summer.

 + 0 moreRobertson Lawn Sprinkler Company were very quick and very affordable. I didn't work with him directly but my husband said he was great, responsive, quick and he would use him again.
Description of Work: We had a line that was broken and a sprinkler head was broken, Robertson Lawn Sprinkler Company repaired all that.

Description of Work: The most recent visit was to prepare my sprinkler system for the winter. Robertson's has helped me with the repair and maintanence of my irrigation system for 15 years. The technicians are polite, personable and very capable, and the office staff is easy to work with. In addition, they do snow removal for me every winter.
