About us

RMG - Rocky Mountain Group was originally founded in 1986 by John P. Clarke, P.E. as a Structural and Civil Engineering firm. Our first office was located in Colorado Springs, at the base of beautiful Pikes Peak Mountain in Colorado. In 1988 the firm added geotechnical services through a merger with a local Geotechnical company. With the recent acquisition of Colorado Engineering & Geotechnical Group in 2010, three branch offices were added in Teller County, Douglas County and North El Paso County, Colorado. The Douglas County office was soon expanded into the Denver area. Our additional acquisition of Total Engineering Services (TES) added a Northern Colorado office. This completed our expansion along the entire Front Range. Our staff of professional engineers, geologists, designers, technicians, CAD operators and administrative personnel has the most versatile experience and expertise in the state. These professionals are involved in the community at all levels, including professional organizations, technical groups, governmental committees, and industry associations. With constant change and innovation in the industry, we emphasize continuing education of our staff so our clients can count on our reliable expertise. Our client base continues to grow each year with our commitment to the true needs of our clients.

Have not yet received written report, but due tomorrow. This was consult only so no work done. PE informed that if work was to be done my HOA must approve and choose company to perform work. HOA also pays for work if determined necessary. I personally paid for consult because wanted outside opinion from that of HOA maintenance engineer.
Description of Work: Evaluate sinking front steps and walkway of my house.

Seemed pretty useless. I had noticed more structural issues than the inspector did and had to point them out to her. She didn't really seem to take them seriously ? even when I pointed out that there was a fairly substantial crack that ran horizontally to the floor around the entire wall of the basement (all four sides). Would def not hire them again.
Description of Work: I don't remember the price. It was average/high. They did a structural soundness check of a house we were considering.

The inspector did a thorough inspection of the house, inside and out, for plumness, soundness of the foundation and drainage conditions. He provide a written report with recomendations.
Description of Work: The purpose of the visit was to assess the condition of the structure (house) with regards to the foundation system, soil conditions, and drainage conditions.

Description of Work: we requested they do a basic review of our house for structural modifications or other suggestions relative to recent flooding we had from excessive rainfall and some water seeping through the foundation. They offered suggestions for landscaping, some minimal water barriers and re do window wells.
