Every cocktail party has a horror story about contractors. Working with ResCon is as bad as any. Work not done or done poorly, subs not paid, lies to us and the insurance company, calls not answered, six different project managers, additional damage by the contractor and a six week job took eight months. A year later they are not to be found to enforce the warranty. Endorsed by our insurance company no less. If there were a grade worse than "F" than would have earned it. Appears they no longer have an office in Colo Springs - which is a benefit to the community and the reputation of reputable local contractors as a whole.

It likely could not have gone any worse. It caused me more stress than the upset of my house on fire and the suicide of my husband. Rescon was a nightmare every step of the way. They are the worst company I have ever encountered. It has been a year and my home is still not done. Their work is shameful. I've been through 3 project managers. They do not care. They do not respond. They tell you to "live with it" when you find issues. They don't communicate and end up doing things over and over. They are unreliable. They are not professional. I simply cannot say enough bad things about them. An access panel fell out of my garage ceiling and dented my car and they dodged having any responsibility. Never mind that the access panel never fell in the 7 years prior when the house was a brand new build and before Rescon started working on my home. Save yourself the headache, frustration, disappointment, and lies. Don't use Rescon and don't let anyone you know use them. In fact, RUN! Seriously.
Description of Work: My house needed restored after a fire and suicide. It had to be gutted to the studs and rebuilt.

HORRIBLE. The work took over 15 months to get completed. This company has horrible customer service; assigns "project managers" that know nothing about water damage repair/replacement and uses sub-contractors that can't complete a job on time OR do any part of a job in a satisfactory fashion. Nightmare is one word to describe this company. They show ion with day labor to move your belongings (their first recommendation was move all belongs in the room with water damage outside and place a tarp over it (the damage was done in February). When one says no - they start the bullying act. They come with subcontractors probably hired as day laborers that are not professionally dressed nor have any moving experience. That means your household items are damaged. They will use lesser quality goods and services than what your insurance agent authorizes to make more money off the project. One has to fight every step of the repair process with them. From damaging your personal items; beware you will also have personal items missing if you do not watch them 24/7. You will have appliances damaged and not re-hooked up correctly (not re-hooking up water lines on dishwasher that causes a leak and more damage OR not re-hooking up the water lines to a refrigerator). When one demands proof that substandard materials are used - and it's proven then they blame a project manager and everything starts all over again with another set of substandard subcontractors to destroy your items again and do poor service. Communication - don't expect any return phone calls - they will blame it on office staff not taking messages. Don't expect them to show up at agreed upon work hours. Expect they will leave a huge mess for you to clean up. Basically DO NOT LET your insurance company bullying you into using this company.
