Nate did an excellent and thorough job, finding important laws that compromised safety as well as cosmetic imperfections which could be improved.. he also took all the time needed to explain his findings verbally as well as in his extensive and detailed report.. he even suggested ways to increase the safety and efficiency regarding repairs. So very thorough and trustworthy!

Nate did a great job with the pre-purchase inspection of a home in Colorado Springs. I lived out of state and he was able to coordinate with all parties involved to make this an easy task for me. Nate sent us a 41 page report after our home inspection with pictures of areas, appliances, etc that needed attention. He put in red those problems of greatest concern, along with his recommendation of repair/ evaluation, etc. We just received Nate's report about the radon level in the house and will contact him for more advice on how to proceed. Great. Nathan helped us identify issues with leaks in plumbing and other problems such as roof defects. Have of these faults would have gone otherwise unnoticed until a serious problem arose. We also received a thorough report of the inspection

Nate is very professional and informative. He not only points out the deficiencies, but also explains the cause to prevent future occurrence. The radon test is necessary, I was looking at a fairly new home, and the readings were more than double the state recommended level. I will definitely use RCPI again. This company is Veteran friendly.

What a fantastic experience with Nate! I called RCPI desperate to get an inspection done within a few days as I only had a short window of time to complete the inspection. Nate offered to make time in his schedule the very next and was able to accommodate us last minute, even through we were located 30+ miles away from him! My situation was a bit different, as I was looking to purchase a property that had 3 buildings on it. Every other company I called, quoted me over $700 to complete the inspection, but Nate went out of his way to find specials or coupons that helped bring the cost down to only $350! Not only did he complete a great and thorough home inspection, he spent the time to explain everything to us with potential ways to fix any issues or people to contact to help. He was very professional and treated both my boyfriend and I with respect, honesty and aloha. As a first time home buyer, I felt that Nate had my best interests in mind when going through the house and helped me make a better decision on my house. We had the pleasure of having Nate do our home inspection. He came to pueblo,(and didn't charge more?!) was early, and even talked to neighbors and got us an inside scoop on our (hopefully!) house. He did a great job and pointed out issues that are now going to be fixed by the seller! A family friend that is a former loan specialist looked over our inspection and complimented the quality of his report, which made us feel we definitely chose the right guy. I could go on and on, but there are tons of other reviews. Thanks so much Nate, we will hire you again and recommend you to anyone looking for an inspector.

It went very well. Nate was very informative and answered all my questions. His report was detailed and easy to read/understand.

It was great - Nathan was an utmost professional and walked us through all of his concerns and recommendations. We were under a time crunch to get the inspection done in time and he was right on it. Not only was his report completed very quickly after the inspection, but it was easy to read and understand as well as having lots of pictures to make all the issues quickly identifiable. He also took a lot of time during the inspection to instruct us on how to operate the new fire places, heater and sump pumps. Definitely recommend his services and would use again.

Well he did it by the time he stated but after he finished the job is when it kind of became hairy. On one of our many phone calls I had told him that this inspection was NOT for me but my dad and he knew that my dad is the person who needed his services but he addressed everything in my name and even though I stated each time I talked with him that this inspection was for my dad. When he asked if he could email me the inspection I gladly accepted so that I would have a copy on my email but then I told him that my dad was from old school and that he needed to send a copy to my dad by mail and he told me that it would not be a problem and that he would send his invoice with the inspection since it was for my dad and it would be fine if he sent it through the mail. A couple of days later he called and confirmed I had gotten the email and I had. Then I asked when my dad could expect to get his copy and he told me that was not our agreement and with an awkward silence like I was supposed to agree with him which I did not. I repeated to him our agreement about sending my dad a copy with the invoice and he told me that was in fact NOT what we had agreed and stated that that was NOT the agreement and dad was going to have to pay add'l fees for mailing it to him and he specifically told me what that would be: we would have to pay for copies from Kinkos and mailing and for the sake of argument I agreed but thought he would send it by regular mail like we had originally agreed to just to have a knock at the door the next day from express mail. He did send the invoice as we had originally agreed to -- well his inspection was $350 and the bill ended up being $421.17. He also sent a breakdown of his costs for the mailing which were like... I do not have any of this in front of me bc I did not know you were going to ask me how it went so from memory it was like $30 for the copies of an inspection it in front of me but from my memory... Oh wait I might have it in my email, yes so it was $23 for priority mail and $23.71 for copies at Office Max (I thought it was Kinkos but it is Office Max) and $25 for travel cost?? So the total bill then was 421.17 when I never agreed to priority mail and what? his travel time was and add'l $25? Then two days later he sends us a contract to sign which, okay... I thought that his prices were pretty exorbitant given that our original verbal agreement was that he was going to mail my dad a copy. I had my dad call him about this contract for payment?? I kept hearing my dad say you are going to get paid the 421.17 about I don't know like four times at least. So when he got off of the phone with him I signed the agreement bc he had everything in my name even though each time we spoke I had told him that I was just doing this for my dad. Then we were into the Resolution between my dad and the seller and I realized that I did not have any of his credentials so that I could have complete file for anything to do with the property sale. When I called him and requested the information he started accusing me of something about not agreeing with his inspection and I kept telling him that his inspection was fine, everything was fine. He then started yelling????? at me telling me anything that happens after his inspection is not going to be on him/his inspection report. Finally I got louder and told him I just wanted his credentials to have a complete file but he would not stop yelling about his report from what I could make out (bc he was not speaking but yelling that is all I could understand) and then he hung up on me. I could not believe it he was so nice and even to the point of sweet before the inspection. I was shocked and flabbergasted and started thinking about all of the things that we were forced to agree with so that there would not be a delay in closing and I never have spoke to him since. Later I called the Broker (bc he had recommended him) and asked him for Nate's credentials and I thought he was just going to send me whatever they were and he did not but instead sent me Nate's signature line with the emblems that I had already seen. So now if I want credentials I have to find them myself through the emblems which brings me to you. I just want a page stating the credentials that you have for Nate Hollis so that I can put that in the file with the inspection for a complete file. After sharing all of this with you I want to state that I had asked him to do it sooner than later and it was a Wed when I talked with him and he did it two days later which was super and my dad is fine with the Inspection. Honestly I still am shocked that he yelled at me and hung up after he got away with charging my dad an exorbitant rate to send it by priority mail and did not okay it with my dad or myself to do that. We had agreed that he would mail it through the mail. He will be paid at closing and my dad made that clear to him that he would get every penny he was asking for at closing. The whole thing left me feeling bad and thinking about how I could have handled it differently. I thought from all of our other conversations that we 'knew' each other over the phone and that getting his credentials would not be a problem. What did I do wrong? Why is he so upset with me for asking for his credentials when we were fine with his inspection. I did not think at all that he was going to yell at me?? and then hang up. I did try to call him back right after to make him feel better but he did not answer. drama for an inspection? It's crazy and that is what I have to tell myself so I don't keep searching my thoughts on how to make it better or reassure him that everything is fine. I thought that it was going to be nothing that he probably has them sitting in a file on his computer and he could just forward them to me with a couple of clicks and it ended up like this and if I want anything on him I have to find it myself... if I had known that this would be like it turned out I would have never asked him. One more thing, and I know this is long but somehow it makes me feel better?? Anyway he came highly recommended by our broker and when I talked to him and he was basically selling himself he told me his credentials were basically huge for the lack of a better word so I guess I should have asked him to send them to me then.

Nate was GREAT!! He responded quick to my interest in getting a home inspection and he worked around my wife and I schedule to make sure the time he scheduled worked for us. He is one of the best at what he does. He was very thorough with the inspection and paid attention to the details. He provides so much value for the price you pay. I am ONLY using Nate for future home inspection services and will definitely be recommending him to my friends and family
