Repair went well, but they broke a cover while performing the work. The owner specifically told me he'd be back to replace it, and the men doing the work told me that the owner would just collect the payment when he returned. When I called him up several days later to remind him that he promised a replacement cover he got nasty with me and told me I needed to send in my payment before he would return with the part he promised. He eventually did replace the part and collected payment while he was there (which was all I was asking for), but the attitude made me never want to use them again, which was a shame because they did a good job with the repair.

We have just moved into our new home and Rainbow sprinklers came out marked the yard not only for utilities but also where were are going to put bushes trees planters etc so he could make the right choice of sprinkler heads and zones that would be needed. Of course this was all happening when we were getting rainstorms everyday. But with a delay or two caused by weather he was able to get it all installed. He will be coming back once we get the bushes in the front yard so he can lay the drip lines to them. All and all it was a very good experience.

These people are great - they are also more than a sprinkler company and can meet many of your general landscape needs. Highly reliable and professional.

They do awesome. What makes them good is their customers and they way they get things done right away. I've been using them for 8 years now.

We bought a home in Colorado Springs with a sprinkler system that had seemingly been cobbled together piecemeal. We had valves on on rickety PVC sticking two feet above ground on both sides of the house. PVC line fed the sprinkler system directly from the house system with no device to keep the lawn water from backflowing to the house water system. It was out of code and should not have passed inspection when we bought the house. There was little logic to the zone placement and sprinkler heads were mismatched to water pressure, throw and coverage.Al Gonzales, the owner of Rainbow Sprinklers, came and did a thorough assessment. He clearly explained what needed to be done and, even more importantly, pointed out specific areas where he wouldn't cut corners. I had already had some other estimates and I could see right away that Al was different and made a lot of sense. (He wasn't talking about adding on items I didn't need; he meant doing important things like pulling the proper building permit with the city so I would have no problem later if I wanted to sell the house with the new plumbing modifications. I had already had another company tell me they didn't need to get a permit and quot;because the house would be inspected when I sold it!and quot; That's a completely different inspection). Therefore, even though Rainbow Sprinkler's bid proposal was higher than that of some other companies I went with them because not only was I getting higher quality materials but I had the assurance that my interests, both short and long term, were truly being considered.The installation itself was impressive (and I'm not easily impressed!). The crew, led by Rod and Roger, replaced the interior supply line with copper and ran it to a new bronze pressure vacuum breaker outside to isolate the irrigation system from the home's potable water system. All of our old dysfunctional eyesore system was replaced and new line was laid using their trenchless installation system...minimizing shock to the existing lawn. The new valve system was all put neatly underground. The installation was meticulous and professional. Underground lines were laid orderly in parallel, control wires were alphabetized and color coded. Everything was pre-planned that if anything in the future ever did go wrong (or if I needed an expansion) they could go right to the spot, find it quickly and fix it with a minimum of disruption. It was a several-day job but every night they completely cleaned up. COMPLETELY! Dirt back into holes, pavers replaced; almost like they'd never been there. Next morning they would expose what they needed to again. Before they left in the evening they watered the parts of the lawn they had disturbed to minimize any shock that might have occurred.This company has my highest recommendation. From the owner on down everyone put the customer first. They were always open to questions and to teach. There was no feeling that they had to hurry to their next job (although they're busy and well-booked). They ALWAYS took the long-term view of what was best for me and not the short term of and quot;just get it doneand quot;. They repeatedly exceeded my expectations.
