I used them because they had a licensed gas installer. They were very reasonably priced. They were complete with the work and I was satisfied with their performance.
Description of Work: I had them to install a gas line.

Those guys were great. They did a fantastic job.It was painless. They took care of all the permits with the city. They even got the inspections done with the city workers. If i was ever gonna put in an outdoor fire pit or anything like that i would definately give Mike a call. I work full time and he came out in the evening and take care of most of the work that needed to be done. It was very accomidating.
Description of Work: They added and additional line to an outdoor grill and other work.

Mike is cool with having the homeowner do some or part of a project, and then stepping in to finish with the hard stuff. For instance, my project called for a 100 foot trench, 2 feet deep for the gas line. Mike doesn’t have trenching equipment, so it would cost quite a bit for him to subcontract that labor. So he was fine with me doing that part of the work. And he helped me paint a line in my yard where it needed to be dug, and he showed me how the trench should be cut. So I dug it, and he cam out and laid the line. He had the permit all taken care of and it went smoothly. The line was installed quickly (under 2 days total, 3 including city permit inspection). Added bonus: Included with Mike’s bid was coming back out at a later date (after I bought my natural gas grill) and installing the hose adapter. I bought a used grill which didn’t have the right fitting. Mike threw in a fitting for free! Added bonus #2: It was close to winter when he came out the last time for the grill. Just as he was leaving, he noticed my water hose bib was still connected to the hose. He scolded me (not really) for leaving it connected. Silly me, I didn’t know any better, this being my first home ownership. Mike saved me a bunch of money if that froze! That’s the kind of guy, Mike is. Use him, you won’t be disappointed!
Description of Work: Mike, the owner of Pikes Peak Gas, is kinda old school. He’s a young guy with lots of energy, but he doesn’t do web/email much. That said, he’s pretty quick to return phone calls. He’s very talkative (somewhat of a downside, so be assertive and direct with him!), but this makes him good with brainstorming and troubleshooting problems and solutions. I wanted to install a gas line from my house out to my detached garage for winter heating. Also wanted a natural gas connection to my grill in the back yard. He quoted me $750 and I talked him down to $650, provided I write this review! He’s insured, talks a good pitch, and is very knowledgeable. He’s a one-man operation, personable, and easy going. I found him vey easy to work with and will have him back this summer to put in another gas line to our kitchen for a gas oven/range. You won’t be disappointed.
