The service was very good as it always been. We have been very happy with them. Landscaping service provided years ago was also superb.

They are excellent. The neighbors have even commented on how great my yard looks.

They are professional, prompt, clean and good customer service. I will recommend them to others.

I called and asked for a after winter cleanup since we moved in to the house just prior to winter and never did anything to the yard. Personal Touch (PT) came out and told me about a Spring Cleanup deal, which was described, but the agent also mentioned numerous other things that apparently didn't fall under Spring cleanup, they were just other services for a different price. I agreed to do the Spring Cleanup and declined a regular service from them to gauge their performance and final cost to see if I would like to continue business with them. $1,300 dollars later (which I have waited to pay to discuss my dissatisfaction; I will be paying, but not doing anymore business with them) and what does not appear to be much work done - mulch turned and added more mulch, trimming, which I take their word they did, and weeding, which I still have many many weeds among my rocks. I know weeds will pop up, but there were weeds almost immediately afterwards and it just didn't look as if I paid someone to weed. I'll eat that one since they can't control the growth of weeds, I just wish they hadn't said to call them back if any weeds pop up. When I did, they said it had rained so they wouldn't honor that any longer. Bottom line for me is, I do not feel like $1,300 dollars was well spent. It also appears as if they charged me for more workers/hours. From what I saw when I returned home, one person could have done the job in a few hours. I was told two (or more?), did the job over 24 hours worth of work, or some explanation like that. I don't recall seeing them at the house for a 24 hour period, even if it was broken up. Bottom line - I will not be using PT again because of pricing compared to work done. I didn't even mention the several other services they offer for a similar price between 800 and 1300 dollars. They wanted me to sign a contract with them, but after what I experienced, I would not ever commit to them. In their defense, I believe they deal with a lot of very wealthy families/homes and retirees. I almost forgot, they claimed to seed my yard, or some kind of treatment due to the yard being very traumatized. The grass never recovered and no reschedule/reseed was attempted so I guess they try, but don't see it through. If their one treatment doesn't take hold, you're on your own. I bet they will help for more money, though. I feel ripped off.

Very creative and real perfections, they try to make your yard unique for you and I love that. I've been using them for 20 years.

It was quite a bit of work. We had a lot of overly mature trees, shrubs, plants etc. and they removed all the overgrown areas and did a complete replanting in our back and front yard. They do high quality work.

We are very pleased with the work they did in the front of the house and they are now in the process of doing the back of our house. We have been satisfied with everyone we've worked with. We've made some minor changes along the way and they've been very responsive.

Personal Touch experience was A+ from beginning to end. Joanne listened to our ideas for landscaping and added her own experience and knowledge regarding plant selection and design. Work was done in a timely fashion by friendly, well- trained workers. Follow-up information regarding watering and plant maintenance was given both verbally and in detailed e-mailed information. Joanne encouraged us to contact her with any further questions or any problems occurred. Final outcome is beautiful.

First let me say that of the reviews I have posted, I have only given "A" ratings, so I am not the type of person to only post reviews when I am disappointed. Bill came to my home several months ago to discuss my backyard remodel of a pergola, outdoor kitchen, and patio (not an inexpensive endeavor). I also had an irrigation issue that needed to be looked at and he said that he had a contract guy and he would have him call me to set up an appointment. Several weeks go by and I had not heard from anyone so I contacted Bill. He apologized and said that my paperwork was accidentally put in another file and that he forgot about it, but that he would get the irrigation guy out there and that he would work on the bid for my backyard and get that to me by the end of the week. That was June and it is now August. Okay, people mess up, but then they apologize and you would think that they would then prioritize your account and not forget about you again, right? You know where this is going. Well, the sprinkler guy came (this is the contract guy and he worked quickly and was fabulous) and I was promptly billed $157 by Joanne at Personal Touch, but since this guy was at my house for only a short period of time, I think I was overcharged for what was done. I am not blaming the contract guy, though, as he only reports what he did to Personal Touch and then they send me the bill (I am assuming there was an upcharge for so little work, which is aggravating since I had been treated so poorly...no discount for the error? Really?). Oh, and neither Joanne or Bill called or e-mailed me to let me know when the contract guy would show up, he just arrived one morning as he was directed to do. What if I wasn't home? But, I digress. I did not object or complain and promptly paid the $157 and patiently waited to hear from Bill about my project. I shouldn't have been surprised, but I never heard from Bill or Joanne again. Bill never sent me a bid or even contacted me to ask for more time, so I am assuming that he once again forgot about me and my project. This company wasted my time. Based on my experience, I recommend that you avoid this company as they are not reliable.

We had a large project in mind for our 1/5 acre lot and were terribly disappointed by many other companies who we asked to quote the project. Many other companies didn't listen to our requests or refused to quote us because the job was out of their scope or they didn't think we could afford the project we had envisioned for our yard. Joanne and Bill listened to our vision, came in with a reasonable quote, and designed our dream yard. The monsoon rains we get around here, resulted in a tremendous amount of water coming through our property. As a result of water flowing through our yard, all existing retaining walls became unstable, some literally falling over. Personal Touch came in and took down all existing retaining walls. They regarded the land removing truck loads of dirt and built beautiful retaining walls across the property, along with other stunning landscape features. They also installed swales and underground drainage systems to ensure positive drainage away from the house. Unfortunately, last year was a very wet spring which resulted in unforeseen delays and rework for their crew; however, this did not result in higher fees and Personal Touch stayed true to their quote. I would highly recommend Personal Touch Landscaping and Gardening.

The workers that came out were definitely an A. They were very efficient. They came right out. They did what they needed to do. They didn't waste any time. They let me know what was going on. As soon as they finished, they let me know. It was more expensive but it was well worth it. They did a really good job. It was very nice. They cleaned it up really good. They were very responsive. She called right back if I left a message. They had good communication. They were here right on time. They were good. I was happy. They came right out when they said they were going to be here. They worked and when they were done, they were done. The guys that came out were really, really nice. They were very professional. They came, knocked on my door and told me they were here. I would absolutely use them again.

Professional courteous team. Beautiful work that we receive many compliments on from our visitors and neighbors. Quick to respond and always willing to help solve problems no matter if they did the original work. We continue to use them in our yard and truly enjoy seeing their team in our yards weekly come rain or sun!

I wish I had done a more thorough background check before hiring Personal Touch to do landscaping. The short story is: AVOID THIS COMPANY. The long story is I hired Personal Touch to do a spring cleanup that was quite expensive (several thousand dollars). Initially, I found Joanne - who I presume is the owner - to be a very poor communicator. Of course, she was quick to take my deposit check, but she never even informed me when the services would be scheduled. I had to call a week after putting down a substantial deposit to even get a general time frame for the work to be completed. And then one day, they just showed up at my house. No advance notice, no confirmation, nothing. Very poor communication. But it gets worse. The work they did was mediocre and incomplete. In a chain of emails that occurred before the work was started, I specifically asked for them to include mulching as part of the agreed-upon price. But when the crew finished, mulching had not been done. In writing, Joanne apologized and stated that she forgot. It was nice of her to admit fault, but she refused to send the crew back out to finish, even though she admitted that it was her fault. Instead, she insisted that I pay extra for them to finish, even though mulching was part of the original agreement. The whole time, she seemed more interested in having me hire them to do regular lawn maintenance than in correcting their error. This is either arrogance or stupidity. Why would I hire a company to do regular maintenance for me when they not only fail to provide the agreed-upon services, but when they also do nothing to rectify an error that was admittedly theirs? And it's not like this was just a verbal misunderstanding - all of this is documented in writing via email. I think it's more arrogance than stupidity - they think they can just do whatever they want and if they make a mistake, it's not up to them to correct their mistake or do right by the customer. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Personal Touch did an amazing job on our unfinished backyard and finished up in less than a week. Bill was our contact and our designer and he was great to work with. He was very easy to get into contact with, and came to our house twice to discuss plans with us before the final proposal. Bill worked with our budget to get us to a price point we were comfortable with. Everyone who came to our home to work on the yard was professional, friendly, and clean. I'd highly recommend working with Personal Touch.

They are a bit expensive and do not give up to date billing. The invoices seemed to come months later. The price we expected was not the final price they billed. They do not guarantee their shrubs and are high on labor charges. When we told them we could not afford them any longer, we agreed to a $400 per month maximum for maintenance and care of property. First bill after that agreement exceeded $400 and second bill doubled that. Their workers cleaned up debris, but threw it along with old potting soil in a drainage ditch, which channeled water from my back yard. Although they said they would take care of it, the ditch remained filled and backed up the drainage. I had to spend hours cleaning the ditch and getting the drainage to flow again. Although I paid them for their labor, they refused to pay me for mine. I would not use these people again.

Personal Touch Gardening and Landscaping are a full service , top quality, affordable landscaping and gardening service tuned into Colorado's climate and wild life. Promptly responded to my initial call. I had a few "ideas" of what I wanted and they brought solutions - solutions that would address the recent flood damage to my yard, my escalating watering costs and the increasingly invasive and hungry deer population. Their design cut my arable area by 40% and replaced it with very attractive xeriscape materials of various designs and textures in an interesting, appealing design. Water tolerant plants were added and well placed - plants, BTW that the deer don't prefer. They also fixed areas damaged by the recent floods, added mitigating designs for future storm water runoff all the while saving my existing landscape material i.e. rocks so as to keep the costs down. Finally, they seeded and sodded using water tolerant, Colorado sensitive lawns grasses further reducing my water consumption. Work performed was on budget and on schedule (slightly ahead of schedule actually). The PTG workforce is professional - plain and simple. Clean, courteous, and they know what they are doing. PTG was able to accommodate changes as the work progressed. And they follow-up on their work and back it. I am a repeat customer and a former landscape employee (but not with PTG). I have a good idea what good companies look like...and it's PTG. Big job or small, this is the team you want.

Working with the company was very easy. First of all, I feel that I got a very thorough assessment of my garden situation and options. Once a plan was in place, a crew came and worked for two days. The crew was excellent - hard working and professional. Beyond that, they were able to answer any questions/concerns I had during the process. They were actually fun to have around, very courteous and they had very high standards. They had the muscle to do the job, but the landscaping background and knowledge that really made me feel comfortable about doing such a big job. You get what you pay for, and this company is worth every penny.

They did a terrible job. They came out before many of my perennials were in, but they said they could find them all and if they missed some they would come back at no charge. 2 - 3 weeks later my plants are coming up and I see they have missed MANY, plus some shrubs that were supposed to have 2 drips only had 1. Many of the drips were placed so the water dripped back down the tube instead of into the plant area. And many were buried and got dirt in them. In my vegetable area they put the water line right down the middle of the bed so I couldn't plant there. Ugh. When they came back out I asked them to move the line and they simply jerked it out and pulled it to the edge without burying it or moving / fixing the emitters. I called them and they came back out and were unhappy that I had them add so many emitters. Then they wanted to charge me for coming back out! I spend hours and hours adding, moving and fixing the emitters. Today I had another company (Sprinkler World) come out to fix a leak and they found more emitters buried in the dirt and fixed them all. They were awesome. I would not recommend Personal Touch Landscaping for Sprinkler System work to anyone. Maybe they are OK for actual landscaping and gardening, but I wouldn't know.

It was terrible. For example, when she quoted us a price, it was $27 per hour. When we received the bill, it was $67 an hour. She spent four or five days on that bush. He tried to charge us $1,000 just to trim up an Evergreen bush and making it into a Bonsai tree. They did a nice job at cleaning up the back yard at $27 an hour. I would not recommend her for anyone.
