Back in April, I discovered that I had a leak on the refrigerator, I called Peak Aplacience, and they came in (28 Apri) and replaced the water (back of the fridge) that was leaking. On July 27, I discovered that the refrigerator was leaking water from the same line. On August 7, I called Peake Appliance and had to argue with them because they dint wanted to acknowledge that they changed the line on the back of the fridge; according to them, they only worked on the water line that goes to the wall. After 10-15 min they finally acknowledge that they did work on the other line, at that point I asked them if they could come in and check the line as part of their warranty and stand behind their work - They said, of course, we can go back, but we will charge you the same amount we did the first time ($140). The fact that they worked on a water line 80 days ago and its leaking again and they want to charge me the same amount is asinine/foolish, and it shows they are trying to make money at the expense of their customer service. Many companies continue to provide support after they complete a job and do house calls if something that they worked on is not working correctly and/or continues to show the same performance that needed to be fixed. They do it for free, at least for that initial check-up to see if they need to change something or repair the same item. I guess that when I reach out to Peak Appliance back in April, I expected the same commitment and customer support.

Brian the owner refused to pay my fiancee his last check. My fiancee served 8 years in the US Army and has since retired medically. Bria. Has no respect for veterans or their families. I wouldn't suggest anyone especially veterans give this business a dime. He is a liar and very disrespectful and doesn't care for Army Vets. This business needs to be black listed! Do not support a business that doesn't support Army veterans.

tech stole the booklet (has all the neccesary computer codes for repairs) for the machine, I contacted the office twice, speaking to the owner Brian the second time, to report it and ask for a replacment. Nothing has been done to return it. Avoid this company!

I am sorry that you feel that we took your tech sheet for your machine. That is incorrect and you know it. I spoke to the tech, he stated that their was never a tech sheet in the machine, maybe you should be beating up the company that worked on your machine before us. Thank you, Brian Morse

Description of Work: RUN AWAY FROM HERE AS FAST AS YOU CAN! Bought a used fridge for a discounted price that broke in 45 days. Their warranty is 60 days but lied that it is 30 days so they don't have to deal wit this. DISGUSTING FILTHY LIARS THAT JUST WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!! A VETERAN DOING UNJUSTIFIED TO A MILITARY... YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. I feel sorry for Brian Jr for learning from a dishonest dad.

Called the business and made an appointment to have my oven light fixed. I explained that the oven is vintage and needed extra care even though the repair was minor. The repairman came in a put a screwdriver in the light socket of the oven causing the whole thing to short out. The response from the repairman was to run out of the house. I had to call the fire department to come out. When I called the company and explained what happened the owner said that he'd talk to the repairman and get back to me. He never did. I had to hire someone else to come out and fix it. It cost hundreds of dollars to fix the damage Peak had done, the light that I originally needed fixed would have cost less than $50 the (good) repairman told me.

The washing machine was not draining, and we thought their might be some additional problems as well because our quiet machine was now very noisy. We called on Monday and they were able to come out that same day. The technician determined what the problem was, but said they would have to order parts from Denver. Since this was late on Monday, he said he would plan to come again on Thursday. He quoted a price of $350. The parts arrived Tuesday afternoon, so he was able to come back out on Wednesday morning. However, when trying to install the parts, another part broke because the manufacturer had installed it too tightly. The technician said it would be very expensive to fix and we would be better off buying a new machine. I told my husband I wanted to go back to a top loading machine, instead of the front loader because I didn't think they were worth the price. Then Brian, the owner of Peak Appliance, called. He apologized for not being able to fix our machine. He explained that although our machine was a Kenmore it was actually made by Samsung for Sears. He also said some were made by LG or other manufacturers. He said in their experience these brands required a lot of maintenance because the control boards are made in South Korea or China and they break a lot. He said the best Kenmore's were the one's made by Whirlpool because they hardly ever break down. He said that if we wanted to consider used machines, he had some in his store. He said if we decided to by a new one to make sure we get the extended warranty because front loaders are very expensive to fix. We decided to see what Brian had in his store. He asked if we liked the front load machine and I told him no. I said I wanted to go back to a top loader. He said the top loaders are much more cost effective to fix because the parts are easy to get to. He showed us several machines, all Whirlpool made. They had already been thoroughly checked out by his technicians so they knew they were in good working order. He asked if having a matching set was important to me, and I told him it was. He said he would buy our dryer if we wanted the matching Whirlpool dryer. He also asked what kind of hoses we had and we said rubber. He suggested going with metal. He said rubber hoses will eventually break because they just don't last. Since we had just had a major flood in our laundry room (not caused by the hoses) and didn't want to go through that again, my husband said let't get rid of the rubber. All in all, we felt that Brian was very honest and open with us because everything he told us was meant to minimize future repairs. He wasn't a pressure salesman. He was giving us the benefit of his experience. They were able to deliver the next morning and we were back to doing laundry. I would definitely use Peak Appliance again, not only for the great advise, but for their fast response times.
