We needed a small room completed (drywall fixed, sanded, textured and painted). We looked at several different companies and got several different quotes. It seemed the cheapest way would be for my husband and I to complete the drywall work and have Paint Masters come in to texturize and paint. We got a quote of $~500 for a small 8x8x10 room. Paint Masters (Anthony) called and gave us the number for Brian, the guy who would do the drywall texturing. Our schedules didn't originally work out. Brian was booked up for about two weeks, we agreed that Brian would call in about a week and a half to schedule. Brian did not call, I contacted Brain and set up a date, Monday (Memorial Day weekend) at 0900. Anthony called to confirm that we'd gotten the phone call and then scheduled a time to come later in the week to paint after the texturizing was dry. At that time my husband expressed his surprise that the sub would come on a holiday. Anthony stated it probably didn't matter to Brian that is was a holiday. Well, he didn't. He called on Monday at 0830 to say he didn't realize it was a holiday and could we postpone for another day in the week? Due to work/travel schedules, we couldn't. He agreed to come at 1200 that day. And then showed up at 1230. We'd already lost most of our holiday and I was upset that he was late. How was I going to trust he'd do a good job in the house when he'd already showed considerable lack of professionalism? I called Anthony to tell him I'd sent away the sub and HE got upset that I'd sent the sub away. I started to tell him that we couldn't trust the sub's professionalism but he cut me off and said that he didn't have time to deal with an attitude like mine and to go find someone else to do the work. My attitude of keeping scheduled appointments and showing up on time. Evidently Anthony expected use to accept this behavior and allow the sub to complete the work. We will not, there are consequences for lack of professionalism, that is loss of work/income. We will gladly find another business. Dean and Yolanda McClain

Mr. Petti seems to be a nice guy, and his work was completed fairly punctually. However....he just didn't do a good job. There were large drip marks and runs on the doors. He was apologetic, and blamed the original surface stain on the doors, but....that's why we paid for a professional. He offered no discount for the substandard work. My wife will be doing them over again herself, and will probably do a better job.
Description of Work: He painted 12 interior doors for us, taking them to his workshop so that he could used specialized equipment. He picked up and delivered them without extra charge.
