The technician arrived on time, did a thorough analysis, told us that our particular vintage of garage door opener IS loud, but it was operating OK. He lubricated it, adjusted the garage door springs, verified it, and was on his way.

My garage door fell off my tracks about a week ago. And badly twisted my tracks. I took the door off the tracks the rest of the way and moved it off to the side before someone got hurt plus I had to work shortly. The tech who came out. Was extremely rude. Called me an idiot for removing my door off the tracks. And basically told me I should've called the emergency line. And spent twice the normal amount. He quoted my everything he wanted to do extremely high. I asked him to write me up an estimate of everything that I needed done and email it to me. And I never got the email. And ive never heard from them since that day. I will never ever go there again.

I called to request an appointment. The person answering the phone acted like i was i interfering with something much more important than my call. Answered with a "hello" such that I had to ask if this was Overhead door, no enthusiasm, and I could envision un-audible sighs on the other end of the line. I told her as much and that we would be going with another company. I guess that was OK since she didn't call me back.

I was very happy with the service. The scheduler was pleasant and able to fit me in on the date and time I requested. The tech was on time, courteous, and got the garage door working better than before. I plan to use OHDCCOS for preventive maintenance to avoid future garage door disasters.

We keep marveling at this one, we want to replace the other one. Even though it doesn't need replacing. I have them service my garage door once a year. You know its going to be expensive. The garage door came to be $700 dollars. We have an very heavy door. We have an motor coach, and we are going to have them put it in next year. Its an eighteen foot door. Its nice to have a quite one. This one is manual. I thought it would be in the thousands, but he said same price. We will be doing it next year. I have been using them for fifteen years.

Don't **** off the scheduler. She will punish you with long service windows and week long waits.

Overhead Door installed the garage door opener at our house 10 years ago (before we moved into the house), so we called them first. They claimed to have 24-hour service so we called them around 9 pm in the evening once we realized how severe the problem was going to be. I called them again at 6:15 am the next morning and around 7:15 am they returned our call. They said they could come that day to fix the door. They would give us 20-30 minutes notice before they arrived, and I provided two numbers for them. Around 1 pm, I noticed I had a voice mail. It was from the technician and he said he would be at the house in 5-10 mins (not the 20-30 I was earlier told). My wife's voice mail came in at 1:02 pm. I left work as fast as possible and got to the house at 1:35 pm and nobody was there (my wife arrived at 1:40 pm). I called the dispatcher and he said the technician arrived, waited 30 minutes, and then left to the next call. Apparently, he had called us at 12:45 pm, came to the house and waited 30 mins and the dispatcher sent him on. Aside from the fact that that was a big fat lie (after all I got the voice mail at 1 ... I was at the house in under 40 minutes ... which is less than the 10 mins to get to the house and wait 30 mins), I was also put off by the technician's lack of customer service. He didn't leave a voice mail on my wife's number (the backup), he didn't try calling again near the end of the 30 minute wait to see if we were on our way ... he just left. I'm sure Overhead Door does fine technical work as vouched for by their A rating on Angie's List. But, I'm giving them an F for their poor customer service and poor communication. We ended up finding another company that came out in less than an hour and did the repair for cheaper, anyway.

I think we have some faulty equipment and we have an intermittent problem that they can't identify.

Great service. I called Saturday morning @ 10 am and they were at my house at 1:30 pm. Mark was great and replaced the springs in about 30 minutes.

We had an emergency with our garage door and they said they would be here about 9:00 or 10:00, and they were. He fixed everything that needed to be done. There were several things that were broken. He had all the parts and supplies ready and did a great job. We have used them every time that we needed them.

Kevin arrived 15 minutes early and began working as soon as he got here. My old door was wooden, warped, and VERY heavy. He was very professional and courteous and cleaned up everything afterwards. I love my new door!

I am really surprised that they are not on Angie's list because they are so established. On the 14th of April they came out and installed a new garage door opener and I used it anytime from that week up and down and so I used it in eight cycles during that week and then it stopped operating until I had to have them come back last Wednesday and adjusted it and apparently it was not installed 100% perfectly and they didn't take much of the fact that it wasn't installed quite well to have it stopped working. The sensor was not completely properly aligned so the sensor needed little adjustment and so far it is fine. I would use them in the future.

I had a good experience. I would definitely use them again.

Excellent service! Brett arrived promptly, was professional and courteous, did the job quickly and cleaned up afterwards. He looked over the situation, told me he would need to replace the door brackets as well as the cable even though the additional cost for parts was minor, performed tune ups and adjustments on both doors, all in just over an hour and all done at a very reasonable price. We have used Overhead Door of C/S in the past and they continue to deliver superior service at low cost. Wish all service experiences were this good.

Very courteous and quick. Technician offered advice on how to keep the door operating properly during this weather and provided answers to my questions.

I was very happen with Mountain Fox. I called on Thursday and they had someone out on Friday morning. He knew exactly what the problem was and he had all parts (springs, cables, etc) on hand to fix it immediately. He even adjusted and lubricated everything when he was done. He was very professional and explained everything that he did to fix the garage door.

Overhead Door Company sent someone out at about 9 pm. He quickly fixed the springs and did maintenance on the door.

Repairman showed up. Tested the opener. Checked the remotes and the keypad. Quickly found the problem and replaced the circuit board in the garage door opener. Very polite and professional.

Very good. Our heavy double wood garage door is working fine again. The spring was last replaced in 1999 so it lasted a good number of years considering the heavy use it gets.

We called for a repair as we had used Overhead Door before. The repairman said the old one was not fixable (no parts) and not worth it as it was over 20yrs old. I did not get other estimates from competitors, although I should have tried. They do not offer a senior discount. The repairman was very courteous and prompt and gave an estimate which we accepted. The install was to be Tues or wed but my wife asked to move it up if possible and after a phone call to the dispatcher, obtained a 8am Monday morning install. Installer was prompt ( 10 min early) and was finished in 2 hours. He explained the use and care of the new unit and about the infared safety beam. The warranty is 5 years on parts, 15 years on the belt, lifetime on the motor and 1 year on the labor. The new unit is quiet and runs smoothly. We are pleased with the whole transaction.

He was able to fix our garage doors. They even called back 3 weeks later to see if they were still working. They were on time and came the day they were scheduled. We had only called about one garage door and he went ahead and looked/fixed all three. He cleaned up after himself.

I found that my automatic garage door was not working. It was a Saturday and I was afraid I'd have to wait till Monday. I went onto Angie's List and found and quot;Overhead Doorand quot; and that they had an and quot;Aand quot; rating and were open on Saturdays. I called and they scheduled a technician to come out the same day. He arrived on time and immediately solved the problem. If I have another problem with my garage door, these are the people I will call.

The technician was on time and very professional. He had the spring replaced and the door serviced in no time. The price was lower than quoted which was still lower than the competitors. I asked the technician to place a sticker on the garage wall so I can remember to call again. I highly recommend Overhead Door.

Since our garage door is an original Overhead Door product, we have used them every time we've had a problem with the door, approximately four service calls in the nearly 20 years that we've owned the home. In this latest case, the coil spring that helps raise the door broke (for the second time, the first being when the home was approximately five years old). The service call immediately preceding this one was to replace the top door panel, which had bent in the center causing the aluminum to split. I mention this because it helps explain my next comment. The technician took the time when he arrived to discuss the current problem with me and my suspicion that something about the way the door comes down in the tracks may be the cause the two most recent problems. After he quickly replaced the broken spring, he took some time to check the door mounting hardware, the tightness of all the bolts that fasten the door panels together, and the door tracking. He did not identify a specific problem with the door; but, I appreciated his effort nonetheless.

My garage door broke Monday 10/29. Service tech came out Tuesday 10/30, arriving 30 minutes late. After an hour in the garage, he announced that he couldn’t fix the door until he ordered parts, which would take several days. On Thursday afternoon, I came home to find a “sorry we missed you” door hanger. This was confusing since no appointment was set for Thursday. The web site says their office hours start a 7:00AM so I called on Friday morning 11/2 at 7:15AM. Got voicemail. Left a message saying I wanted to schedule service. A guy called back around 7:30 while I was in the shower and left a message saying he could schedule someone between 9AM and noon. I called back as quickly as I could (7:45) to accept this timeframe. Again, I got voicemail. I waited an hour, heard nothing, called again. This time I got a live person. I was told that the 9AM – noon appointments were completely taken. I asked for the next available 8AM appointment to minimize my time off work. I was told next available 8AM would be Wednesday 11/7. I took this appointment. At 8:45 on 11/7 called Overhead to find out where this tech was.. Oh, sorry, he can’t be there till 9:15. I called the company again at 9:20 and was told the technician was still a few minutes out. This time, to their credit, I got a very sincere apology and price adjustment. Tech finally showed at 9:30. Unfortunately, that doesn't get my day back on track. I think this company is big enough to provide good pricing and possibly emergency service, but if you just have a routine problem to solve, I would suggest you be prepared to get treated with total disregard for your schedule. They do not keep their promises on appointments.
