+ -1 moreThorough, professional, knowledgeable. Did a superior job installing the system to protect our house. We had an old-old system that had been mangled by roofers and a building contractor during a major exterior renovation. They assessed the damage (it was a MESS) and gave us an honest appraisal of the situation. We had been hit by lightning 3 times before we installed the old system and it was 25 years old. So, we knew we needed a new system that would provide the best coverage possible with the most current technology and certified installers. They removed the old system - and then did an excellent job of providing 100% coverage for the house with a state of the technology system. There are a lot of factors to consider - more than you would imagine - number of 'peaks' on your home - proper grounding away from the house - cabling materials...and more. Provided us with a certificate of inspection by the Lightning Protection Institute, which I think is the national certification board for lightning protection. Kept their work area around the house neat and orderly. Highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Mr Lightning sent a 2 person crew who did an expert job of installing a lightning arresting system on my log home's roof. They obviously knew what they were doing and efficiently put up 5 rods, all the copper cable and 3 grounding points in the ground. I also received an insurance policy for any future lighting damage. I was happy with their punctuality and professionalism. I would definitely recommend them. |
