Miracle Method

They were very thorough, professional and competent. The cost was a little higher than I would have liked, but I feel confident that we hired the right people, and that I won't have to do this again for a very long time.

When the technician came out to do the prep work of replacing some loose tiles it was discovered that we had water damage behind the dry wall and would need to replace some of the studs. The technician called in his supervisor to look at the project, the supervisor let us know that Miracle Method doesn't do structural work and recommended that we call in a contractor for an estimate, in all they spent about 2-3 hours at our home. Due to the water damage instead of just refinishing the shower we will need to tear out the whole thing. When we called Miracle Method to let them know and find out how much we owed for work performed we were amazed when Carol told us "You don't owe us anything, you have a big enough project ahead of you." How wonderful to deal with a company that puts the customer first! We would definitely recommend Miracle Method of Colorado Springs, everyone we dealt with from the office staff, our estimator, out technician and his supervisor were professional and courteous and seemed to genuinely care about providing us with the best service possible, whether or not we complete the work with them.

Did not get the installer I requested but he did a very good job. I did not get the final package that I was promised at the end of my service.

They did a great job.

The salesman was very professional. The estimate was spot on. The installer was right on time and did a great job. We had the existing tub modified with an easy step so my elderly Mom can use it as a walk in shower. The tub looks great and it is exactly what we ordered. The installer made sure everything was clean and good to go before he left. I am so happy with this and it saved us a ton of money by not needing to rip out the tub and replace it with a walk in shower.

The only thing negative was that he showed up early and I couldn't be there so he had to come back an hour later. It was a misunderstanding or something but he said it was no problem and he could come back and was most cooperative about that so we didn't have to reschedule or anything. That was good. I don't think I could have got the service done by anybody else any cheaper. He did a very nice job and was very responsive.

First, I went to their showroom to see samples of their work and since I liked what I saw I requested a quote. The salesman who gave me a quote did a good job of explaining the process and all that was involved. Having read some reviews on Angie's list, it seemed that the quality of the job depended a lot upon the skill of the technician so I told the salesman that I would do it if he would promise to send me his best technician for this job. I waited a little longer to have the work done in order to get this technician, but I was very glad that I did. Michael showed up and I could tell the first day that he is a perfectionist - which is what you want for this process. Each day, Michael was punctual and explained well what he would be doing. Before he left, he would confirm what time he would arrive the next day and what he would be doing. He was always done within the amount of time he estimated it would take. I'm very, very pleased with the results.

I called to see when they would be able to come out and refinish our bathtub. The receptionist said it was going to be at least two weeks and I went a head and made the appointment. The next day she called me back and said they had a cancellation and could get to me sooner if I was going to be available. I jumped right on it. The guy came out on the second of July and he was right on time. I was very comfortable with him in my home and he went right to work. He stripped off the old finish on my bathtub and put on the new finish. It is a two day process but it was worth every penny. My bathtub looks like its brand new.

They're awesome. We didn't like the repair they did and they were just right out here refunded the money and took it off and they did the same thing with the sink. The kitchen sink area really hard to do and the policy is the best I've ever seen on anyone. The customer service was great. They were excellent. They were there when they said they'd be there, did what they said they do, stood behind it when it didn't work and were friendly the whole way. The problem was the product didn't work for what we were using it for, so I wouldn't recommend that product for a kitchen sink but for a bathroom sink or a bathtub, it would be fine. It just didn't work for the kitchen sick and they were 100% responsive to full refund. I didn't even have to ask. They did a huge mess. They totally messed themselves off but complete cleaned up after themselves, just spotless. They were great.

We haven't started yet but I can certainly give you more information after the work is completed.

Miracle Method Surface Restoration technician Mike and helper Steve arrived at the time stated. They were polite and respectful. They inspected the work area and asked that all items on the countertops and exposed kitchen shelves in the work area be removed. They laid canvas sheeting from the kitchen to the front door to protect the hardwood floors and secured it with blue painters tape that lifted off cleanly. This protection remained in place throughout the two-day process. They throughly cleaned the kitchen countertops and backsplash areas to be treated . The original aluminum trim that was to remain was protected. All adjacent surface areas were protected with plastic sheeting. They covered every surface that might be affected by any overspray of the product. The sheeting remainted in place until removal the following day after completion of the process. The equipment to apply the product was placed on top of a canvas sheet to protect the kitchen floor. A ventilation tube connected to an exhaust fan (also on canvas sheeting) was laid through the kitchen door to the back yard. Once Mike was satisfied that all surfaces were protected he sprayed the acrylic color product onto the original kitchen formica countertops and backsplash areas. After the product had been applied, the exhaust fan with ventilator tube remained in place and operational. The instructions were to leave the fan on as long as possible throughout the evening. This phase of the job took about 31/2 hours. The fan was left on until morning. Mike returned the next day at the time expected. He applied a sealer and clear coat to the newly treated kitchen countertops and backsplashes. Again the spray equipment was placed on top of a canvas sheet to protect the kitchen floor. Once the application was complete he removed all plastic sheeting and inspected his work. He then removed all equipment. The original aluminum detailing that was to remain was clean and shiny. He removed all the canvas sheeting from kitchen to front door. He went over instructions for allowing the sealer/clear coat to cure for the next three days. He also detailed how to properly care for the countertops and stated a price should a small repair be needed.

I scheduled a straightforward refinishing of a cast iron tub to change its color from white to biscuit. I did this based on generally good reviews in Angies List. The salesman was responsive and seemed to know his stuff. On the scheduled date the technician arrived and proceeded to prepare and finish the tub. After a couple of hours he announced he was done for the day and planned to return the next day to 'buff' the tub and clean up. Later that day I went into the bathroom to inspect the technician's work. The tub and bathroom were an awful mess, said by someone who has had this done twice before in a previous house. There was a huge run in the bottom of the tub. There were multiple particles of dust stuck in the tub finish. Masking around the tub was inadequate so that overspray from the tub was on the cultured marble surround. Overspray was also on a trash can and sink about 4 ft from the tub. There was dust all over without any protection for our carpet. There was a rub mark, probably from a sander, in the tub surround. It was quite clear that the technician, who seemed like a nice guy, had no idea what he was doing. When I called Miracle Method with my concerns, I was told not to worry because the technician would buff the tub out the following day. The following morning, the run in the bottom of the tub was still soft to the touch so there was no way this was possible. I had no intention of letting these guys back in our house, so I called them and told them not to return. I then called Alternative Resurfacing based on a lead from a friend. They quoted me a much lower price than Miracle Method to both strip the tub and then refinish properly. They finished today and the tub looks just fine without needing buffing. The Alternative Resurfacing guys said they had never seen such a bad refinishing job. I suspect Miracle Method once was a decent business, but based on my experience they've lost it. In hindsight, the guy they sent out to refinish my tub was poorly trained and apparently not supervised. I've been told that they changed owners which may be part of the problem. I recommend avoiding Miracle Method at all costs.

My inquiries were answered promptly and the time and price were established quickly. This is a 2 day process. The technician showed on time and was ready to start on day 1. Work commenced right away with a cleaning and preparation of the surface then application of the coating. After a couple hours the tech said he was done for the day and he stated that the sprayed on coating had run significantly. The tech thought that he would be able to buff it out the next day. On day two the tech arrived at the appropriate time ready to start. After a couple hours the tech announced he was done and invited me to take a look. Right away I could see the run line that ran along one entire side of the tub. The tech agreed there was a significant problem. He thought he might be able to rework it the following day. After the tech left I contacted the sales office. I was contacted later that day by a company representative who scheduled a time to inspect the result. The representative agreed there was a significant problem. The same tech returned the third day at the agreed time and reworked the problem area. While the tech was not able to correct the issue 100%, it was quite a bit better. Perhaps my expectation was too high but if I had known the actual result I would have just replaced the tub to begin with.

I was a little nervous about doing this but the two tubs are solid cast iron and are surrounded by original tile (from 1954) in excellent condition. Everyone was on time and the job vastly exceeded my expectations. Dave did an amazing job of pre-taping and covering everything in the area so there was absolutely no mess. I know it sounds silly but I admire the tubs everything I see them. In talking with Dave, he mentioned that many of their technicians have been with the company for years which says a lot about the company. They offered to include the non-slip surface at no charge but I decided to pass as it will be easier to keep clean as it is. This is a great way to economically and beautifully update a bathroom. BTW, be sure to clean only with non-abrasives and it should last for many years.

My husband and I looked into Re-bath (way too expensive), putting a new "skin" onto the tub, and since my husband is a "do-it-yourselver", we checked into replacing the tub. Like I said,I love my tub and just couldn't find anything that compared, Until one day our son said, he did some research online and saw this company and why don't we give them a call. So I checked "Angie's List" and liked what other people had to say about their experience with Miracle Method. I had read up online about the process and knew what to expect. So I called for an estimate and the price sounded right. I set up the appointment.On the day of the repair, the young man who came to do the job was extremely professional and informative. The job was done in just a few hours. My husband and I were extatic - to say the least. I now have a beautiful white bath tub. It looks brand new and I couldn't be happier. Would I do it over again? By all means! We highly recommend Miracle Method!

They made a big difference; their salesperson was wonderful. They were easy to work with; I had to reschedule and they were accommodating. They were good.

Everything went as planned. The company did everything they promised. Explanned the way to take care of the refinishing and the dos and don't when cleaning it. I would like to have a little more time to have a better idea of the wear and tear of the material; it has just been a few weeks that I have had it in my shower, that is not a lot of use yet. So far GREAT.

They did a good job. We saved probably 75 percent from doing a new bathroom with labor and materials. Everything was good and we were happy with them.

They did a great job spraying on the surface. They protected for overspray and nothing got sprayed that shouldn't have been. It's been over a year and the surface is holding up nicely and looks much better than the dirty white tile. Some people think it's granite until they look a little closer.

It took them three days to finish this job. They were very efficient, helpful and extremely professional. They have a great selection of colors to choose from for the bathroom countertops. I would definitely recommend them to others.
