Well until we needed to pay the bill. Called David for a roof inspection for our house to sell as there was granular loss. He was fair and reasonable upfront, offered a price less than the roofer buyer had chosen to inspect roof and in fact actually gave roof certificate. The problem lies here....He lacks professionalism and disregards potential clients privacy. I should have realized this when he bashed his competitor. He was contacted by another buyer for our house and he went as so far as to tell them I had not paid my $100 roof cert fee, in addition to my realtor BEFORE notifying me I had not paid. The day he went to do the roof certificate I offered to pay him by credit card by phone, and he declined. He never sent an official bill, never sent a reminder, as most companies do. His roof cert had a fee listed, but I did not notice until after his unprofessional behavior and comments were made and I went back to look. In addition to telling everyone I was someone to not pay my bills he made arrangements with the buyers, and my realtor to climb on our roof without informing or asking for our permission. He was shortly paid his $100 after I called him in regards to his lack of professionalism and he has earned this beautiful review.

For roofing I used Meyer Roofing. They were very responsive. We did have a problem and they did come out and they fixed it. It was a good experience. It wasn't an excellent one but it was good. They were probably pretty average on price. We didn't do a lot of comparison. They were slow to respond at first but then once they did, they fixed everything. They showed up right on time and they did the work when they promised they would do it. I would use them again in the future and I think that my husband would also.

I had two other roofers estimate this job and got bids approx $5000.00 to dissassemble the 2nd floor deck, replace the membrane and reassemble the deck. David Meyer came out to the jobsite the afternoon I called him. He identified the problem as incorrectly installed flashing. He sent a crew of three the next day to fix it. They worked for about two hours. After everything dried I turned the hose on the deck for about an hour without any leaks. Mr Meyer and his crew was honest, responsive and provided quality work. You can't ask for more than that.

The roof looks great except for a few spots around the edge that lifted up. Likely this was due to the gutter replacement, which was subbed out and not great. They forgot some sections, moved others, and the gutters on the whole front of the house didn't work. Because it was an insurance claim, and for our own safety, I would have liked more clear billing. He did not write out the estimate in detail until we actually settled the bill which was nerve racking for me. Overall, I was pleased, but it felt more like luck than efficient and effective work.

Their word was absolutely good. The owner has a high integrity level. The quality of the work was excellent. If I need a new roof, this is the company I am calling. They were very punctual. They came out right after I called them, and they did the work in one day.

I think they are very professional and do a good job. They are busy and I have to contact them a little more than I would like to, but other than that, they do a good job.

They were professional, cleaned up after themselves, on time, and provided quality work.

I will never forget them. I would tell others not to believe a word that comes out of the man's mouth. The entire experience was negative although our roof passed inspection. Nothing he told us was true. We made the decision to put the roof on. He told us that it would be 2 weeks before they delivered the shingles and that from the time they delivered the shingles it would be no more than a week. It was weeks before they delivered the shingles and those shingles sat on our roof for a month. My husband finally called him and told him to either get the roof on or get the shingles off. He sent a crew out and none of them spoke English. They had no equipment with them. They literally borrowed my husband's ladders, wheelbarrows, and shovels, some of which got broken. My husband called the Meyer's guy up and he came out here. He did not even know who those people were. Then he called another crew that was supposed to be his crew and they came out. Even though the first crew didn't speak English, they were all very nice. When the second crew showed up, one of them spoke really bad English. They were not nice people and I was very uncomfortable being in the house with them around. They put new gutters on and didn't hook up any of them to the downspouts. My husband had to do that rather than call them. They also put a splash guard on the front of my porch. The end of it is literally right in the middle of my step so it drips onto my steps. In the wintertime, I have an iced puddle on my front porch steps. I called him 3 times and asked him to come and fix that. He always promised he would and never did. My husband is going to take care of it too.
