McDonald Paving and Chip Sealing

Beware of First Impressions. CALL SOMEONE ELSE We have had a terrible and stressful experience with McDonald Paving (and apparent associates.) Still not resolved. Martin McDonald assured us in person that we would have a trouble free driveway for many years! Instead, McDonald Paving has left our road in much worse condition than when we contracted with them and we are out THOUSANDS of dollars. They did not complete the scope of work contracted. We contacted Martin McDonald, with whom we had been dealing, and stated this needed to be addressed per the written warranty. For two months we sent numerous texts to Martin McDonald stating the work needed to be completed and fixed. We heard nothing. 21 months after the initial work was done (incomplete) and numerous contact and conversations (finally) with Martin , a crew (don’t believe it was an actual McDonald Paving crew) showed up and put down some sort of material that totally wrecked our driveway. This crew tore up trees around the driveway and left a mess. The material on the entire road needs to be removed and redone. They have not honored the contract or done acceptable work. They have acted in bad faith and are awful to try and deal with. I have read some of the other reviews here. Maybe you would like to be included in our lawsuit.

Excellent timing and work! Was on a tight timeline and McDonald got the job done on time and on budget! Thanks to their hardworking crew the job turned out great! A+!!!!!!

The finished product was not at all to standard it is not a very good pitch they did not level it correctly and they left a huge mess in my yard.

Well. Good job. Cleanup not quite as good.
