Description of Work: Nothing what so ever!

Description of Work: The army paid for this move.The cost above is related to lost campground reservation. We did have an inital cost of $100 due to base housing chargin us an extra day because we were a day late moving out. This was our 7th move, 2 of those were DITY (do it yourself) moves where we packed the boxes, rented a truck and hired men to load and unload the truck and my husband drove the truck. We are very experienced at moving. Previous moving companies estimated 3 days for packing and usually finish everything (thoroughly) in 2.5 days. So the packers were usually driving out about 1pm to go help another group. I was alarmed when Manitou Express said they could do it in 2 days. I even called them to express my concern. So I assumed they would send 4 packers instaed of the normal 3. Since we never know what size housing we'll have we keep our household goods pretty consistent for about 1550sq ft. This house was 2200 so the packers had plenty of space to work. I also assumed the packers would be at the door 8a.m. sharp, per previous experience. 2 ladies and a man showed up at 10, after moving in boxes and supplies packing didn't really start until 11. They left at 4, not the expected 5pm. Maybe we had a serious oversight in choosing Memorial Day weekend, but that never occured to us. Monday was the holiday. Tuesday after several phone calles to the office at 9 amd 10, we finally get a 10:30 cell phone call from 1 packer stating, "Sorry we're late. My friends partied a bit too much and I'm the only one on the way, but they will be coming later." The man showed up an hour later, the 2nd lady 2 hours later. Her hang-over was so bad she maybe did an hour's worth of work. Needless to say they were late and the job quite incomplete. I had to creat 2 more boxes after they left and they did not make it on the original invoice sheet because it would have meant starting another whole sheet! She even stated that after I asked her about packing my small tote.Another major delay was cause by them running out of paper and having to wait for another group to deliver more - although NOT enough. I want to also point out the character of these packers. The 2 women had rotting spots on their front teeth - as in meth drug users and the man barely spoke 2 words and gave me the creeps. My husband ran the errands so I could stay home because he did want to be alone with these 2 women, that's a first. The truck loading was just as BAD. Past moves have required 1 full day 8am-5pm of loading with 3 men. There was no basement, only moving furniture down an upstairs. My husband and I do all the furniture disassembling and we do not have large pieces. The driver arrived at 11am after a delivering in Denver. Prepping the house takes another hour. They did not finish even though they were there till 9pm and had to stop because it was too dark. My husband moved all the boxes, including the upstairs, into the garage and tried to empty out the house as much as possible so the cleaning crew would be ready the next day. Our move out inspection was around midday and we weren't ready, even at 5pm. We were charged another day of rent for the 1st of the new month since the inspection was postponed till the next morning even though the house was empty and we slept in our travel trailer in the driveway.
