We were very pleased with his work. His price was very competitive and he completed the job on time. He is a hard worker and we recommend him highly.

We got John's info thru our homebuilder, who passed onto us a nice color Magnifiscapes brochure. We drove around and looked at some of the project addresses listed, then called for a free estimate. The owner, John, is a one-man company. He setup an appointment for a free estimate right away, returning our phone call quickly, which we appreciated. He was running late but called to notify us. He walked our yards and shared his ideas, listened to ours, showed us photos of work he's done. He loves stonework especially- his flagstone is beautiful. He himself a passionate a gardener - he called it his 'artistic outlet' and it shows in talking with him. He didn't give us anything in writing but gave general quotes for materials and, roughly, what he'd charge to come and work on small projects - he was trying to work with our very nebulous budget at the time. We needed spray-sprinkler systems done, but he does only drip systems. We did especially like his ideas for the back patio area. Though we haven't hired him yet, we are keeping him on our list of future landscapers, especially for stonework.

he came and dug out all the grass, put in metal edging and then put down road base. on top of that he put white "breeze". then he put down the flagstone, arranged beautifully with large and small pieces, light and dark colors. then he put the dark gray polymeric sand into the spaces between the flagstone, sprayed it with water so it would soak up and "set". the only drawback was that its in a shady area and when it got cold the water froze but it did eventually thaw out and is beautiful. i can't wait until spring.
