FALSE ADVERTISING Lawn Pros Inc. advertised A $500 discount on artificial turf on the cover of "Our Community Magazine" last May, 2016. I qualified and hired them. Lawn Pros overcharged me the $500. When I brought it to their attention I was told it would be subtracted from the final payment after the job was completed as my credit card had ALREADY BEEN CHARGED THE INITIAL PAYMENT. I agreed. It was about 5 pm on the day of completion so I called them the following day to be sure the $500 had been deducted. It had not been deducted and my credit card had already been charged. They initially stated they did not owe me the $500. After many, many, many phone calls, talking to several different people, plus sending them a copy of their advertisement, in August Lawn Pros agreed they owed me the $500 and a check would be mailed to me. It was never received even though my address was confirmed with them several times. October came. Again, many phone calls with Lawn Pros standing firm that my $500 had been mailed...... even telling me a check number. After 3 weeks I called them and suggested putting a stop payment on that check and writing me another check. Seven more weeks have now passed and, as of December 16, I have not received the advertised $500 I was overcharged nor has Lawn Pros ever contacted me. Lawn Pros Inc. is not someone with whom I would do business and their truthfulness in advertising is lacking.

poored concrete patio. Horrible job concrete is crumbling. Have been trying to get company to repair but they do not respond to calls. Had to put a complaint in with better business berue just to have someone from company finally come take a look. He took a video and said that it was bad concrete and they would fix it to call to schedule. This was end of August have been calling company but they will not return calls. Finally last time I called clerk got an attitude on me and said that they had ran out of concrete??? I asked why no one had at least returned my call and she said well I guess I'm telling you now. They still have not called me back. This business is horrible they lost their rating with the better business bureau that's how bad they are. Their are similar complaints the BBB and Yelp. Do not waste your money we are now going to hire another company to pour a new patio next summer. They are unresponsive and horrible customer service. We have yet to get a call from anyone in management or company for that matter.

I had two leaks in my sprinkler valve box. I had been happy with Lawn Pros for a previous repair, so I called them again. Something new this time is they said there would be a $55 fee for the estimate if I didn't use them. I let them come out anyway, thinking I would use them as long as the estimate was reasonable. They came out on time and estimated $450 to replace three valves. I looked up the valves online and found they cost less than $25 each. I had another company come out and they immediately saw it was the elbow pipes leaving the valves, and not the valves themselves, that were leaking. They replaced the two leaky pipes for just $80 -- quite a difference from the $450 Lawn Pros estimated. Even for the work they proposed to do, I feel Lawn Pros estimate was several hundred dollars too high. On top of that, they misdiagnosed the problem, proposing a more expensive solution than was needed. On the plus side, they never billed me for the estimate.

Did not go well. On the day they first came there was no evidence of seed or fertilizer on the lawn. After one week of watering twice daily there was no evidence of new growthvof the grass seed. The lawn did not green up either. We waited one more week then I called the company and they came out and reseeded. Still no evidence of growth. 6 weeks after the first fertilization they cmae and I was home this time to wittness the process. But... they did not clean up all the left over residue on the walks or patios. Very sloppy. We will not be renewing our contract in the spring.

They slow them out at the end of the season too. They were very good, very punctual and very professional. They were helpful when they came out. They gave us good advice on adjusting some of the sprinklers and changing some of the heads.

I have used Lawn Pros several times over the last two years. They updated my sprinkler system so it would be up to code. It was an improperly done self install originally. They have turned on and off my sprinklers and done some repairs when needed. They have also done some lawn aeration and overseeding. They have been friendly, knowledgeable and professional every time. Will keep using them for sure.

lack of supervision,did not follow the contract,damaged plantings in our yard, noise, played radio way to loud, through butts down on the ground and did not pick them up, shorted on amounts in contract, trespassed on neighbors property with out permission,blocked neighbors driveway with out permission while loading and unloading trailers, left materials out in the street overnight, had to ask them 4 times to clean up neighbors yard where demo debries fell on to their property,after asking them multiple times to remove all metal edging from our yard they installed a metal edge on our new sidewalk which I now have to remove,we have had to hire a handyman friend of ours to come in and fix work that they did that is already falling apart,we payed them to demo and rebuild a block wall in our backyard that when finished looks less than professional, they put up a privacy screen trellis that should have been drilled and screwed by pounding roofing barbs through the lattice work

Office personnel were very helpful. The team doing the work, not so much. I had arranged for one of their package deals but using seed that I provided. I had bought 15 lbs of seed to match what was in the lawn. On the first appointment the team came to the house two hours earlier than scheduled, didn't find me home A simple calling ahead to see if they could come early or calling someone later on their schedule who might be home earlier would have been a simple solution but they later admitted they hadn't thought of that. On the rescheduled visit I left the bag of seed out for them to use (since I wasn't home) and they did the work. However out of 15 lbs of seed they had used maybe a cup or two. I called back to the office to schedule another visit to do the seeding at no charge. The team showed up, used all the seed with a broadcast spreader and left without speaking to me after the job. I know they aren't paid to be social but a quick and quot;OK, we're doneand quot; at the end would be a nice touch that also helps distinguish the good from the best.

Customer Service could most definitely be improved. Mowing: We had Lawn Pros come out and mow our lawn weekly and it started out OK. The guys showed up on time for the most part and did a good job mowing the lawn, the trimming was usually satisfactory also. Towards the end of this season they started getting sloppy and leaving messes behind. Really, I'm not too hard to please and I was happy to have someone else do the lawn work for a reasonable price. BUT, the guys would put their mulching mowers in the back of the trailer and leave behind several huge clumps of grass on the street in front of my house. I would then have to go out and clean it up, which defeats the purpose of paying someone so that I don't have to deal with it. I called and requested that the guys clean up after themselves. I requested a second time that they clean up the big clumps, unfortunately, the issue was not resolved so I had to cancel my services with Lawn Pros. Sprinkler: Aaron came out to identify a leaky sprinkler and adjust the heads. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He had to dig up some sod and repair a pipe, which he did that day very quickly. He also went around and adjusted all the heads and replaced one that wasn't working well. I would call Lawn Pros( Aaron) again for sprinkler repairs.

rake tService not performed because "there was too much debris on the lawn." Lawn Pros did a great job last year by power raking my pine needles. If now they "don't do pine needles," and I have to rake that myself (like I did today - four bags), what really is "power raking"? Didn't even get a knock on the door that they would not perform the service. Will not call them again.

The Lawn Pros team was very professional, they fixed our broken sprinkler heads as well as checked the system for any other problems and aerated the front and back lawn. They did a great job and we will defiantly use them in the future!

He was good. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. I like them.

Aaron from Lawn Pros looked over the entire system to not just solve immediate issue but to do a comprehensive review of the problem and best solution. He understood that time was of the essence and worked hard to complete the repairs in time so I did not have to lose another watering day. Most important he respected my input rather than dismissing my opinion and my historical perspective on the problem. That saved Lawn Pros and me both time and money.

They showed up on time. Had a team aerate the yard. Blew the sidewalk and patio with a leaf blower to clean up. Friendly and efficient.

Lawn Pro personnel showed up on time. Two guys performed the aeration, one in front and the other in the rear. The third person handled the payment. Both lawns were given a cursory aeration (once over) and were finished by the time I had paid. The previous aerators went over the lawn two or three times; their plugs were clearly visible from afar. Lawn Pro's plugs were barely visible. Additionally, the person who went to the rear left long gouges on the breeze pathway caused by his aerating machine. The only reason I had changed from the previous company was they could not give me a time the day before which left me unable to plan the day until the morning of the job.

Well worth the money. A team of three guys got right to work and produced 6 lawn bags of clippings/thatch/pine needles in abot 45 minutes. The aeration was thorough. This would have been an all day project for me, plus the hassle of renting a machine.
