JT Restoration

Dennis repaired/refinished a 6 panel fir door that had been scratched by a large dog.  The door was very scratched and looked awful.  He repaired it, and I can't really tell that it had every been scratched.  He took about 2 hours to do the work right inside the house.  He didn't need to take the door off.  Since Dennis owns the business, he can be counted on to do good work.

Dennis came promptly at the appointed time and reviewed each of the 15 pieces of furniture that needed refinishing or touching up.  In each instance he identified the wood and finish used and told me exactly what he could do to restore the item.   He then quoted me a firm price for each item.  Some I decided to have done immediately; he came the next week and took care of them.   The dining-room table was so extensive that spot refinish could not be done, so the table had to be dismantled and taken to his shop.  When it was returned it looked like new--so beautiful!   In fact every piece he worked on looked like new, and he taught me how to maintain the finish.  His work is not cheap, but if you like the furniture and don't want to replace it, he can make it look like new again.  He is pleasant and easy to do business with.  I heartily recommend him.
