He came to look at our fireplace and the pictures we printed online and instead of giving an estimate for the total job, we chose to pay "cost" for the materials and give him pay by the hour. I felt like this was such a better deal. I could shop around and pick up the rock and stones myself for the best deal. Janus picked up the wood trim for the mantel and kept the receipts so I knew just how much it cost. His hourly rate was very reasonable so we didn't mind paying for his time if we were too busy to run to Home Depot for this and that. He also worked quickly and kept things as clean as possible during the project. He's very hardworking, honest, and nice to be around when you have a big project going on. It's been such a good experience, we have hired him to replace doors and fix up our deck.
Description of Work: Our fireplace is completely transformed! It went from Eyesore to Amazing Focal Point in two weeks.
