 + 0 moreI had a complicated problems with my master bath tub... Kevin came by, said, "Let me try for a few minutes to see if I can do something other than demo! In one hour, he had it all repaired, tested, and perfect!! I expected a bill of several hundred dollars, but I was wrong - total of $146 - more than worth it!! Great company!!!

They were not only very responsive but were able to come out quick (which was needed the first visit to coincide with water heater installation) and the 2nd time was not an emergency but they were able to fit me in next day. Family owned and operated - will definitely call for any future needs.

 + -1 moreWe were very satisfied with Hodges Plumbing for their ability to perform the work and also because of the way they conduct their business. They were responsive and maintained good communication -- returned phone calls promptly, arrived on time, accommodated our schedule (including a couple of changes) and kept us apprised of progress. Good communication is very important to us. They performed all the work they said they would in a professional manner. Everything has worked perfectly but I'm confident that if it didn't that they would make it right. We obtained 3 bids and theirs was the middle price. We were very happy with their service and would definitely contact them for future plumbing work.
Description of Work: Hodges Plumbing did all the plumbing work required for the remodel of our shower including installation of new drain and shower head and trim.

 + -1 moreThe job went very smoothly. As always, Lamont and his son worked until they figured out what all the problems were, and fixed them. Lamont and his son are great. They are friendly and respectful, and their work is impeccable. They are the only plumbers I will use.
Description of Work: Called Lamont to fix several problems. When the water was turned on in the tub spout, half the water came out the shower, the other shower water handle turned completely around in a circle with no stops. I had installed a faucet, sink plug, P-trap, waste pipe and cut the sink supply pipe caps and installed compression stop valves and flexible piping to faucet. Needless to say, I am no plumber and there were a couple of leaks. I needed Lamont and his son to look over all my work and fix it where necessary. Lamont and his son were there for about 4 1/2 hours. They had to take the kids' bathroom tub spout completely apart until they found a part inside that was the wrong size and not allowing the water to flow unrestricted through the spout and was forcing water up through the shower. They found a properly fitting part and fixed that problem. They also fixed the leaks in the kids' bathroom sink drain plug, supply pipe compression stop valves and the P-trap assembly. In the master bathroom shower, where the handle went all the way around, they found there were missing parts (not installed correctly by a previous plumber who used to have a liquid lunch). They also installed a new drain plug in the master bathroom. They didn't even have to turn the water off.

 + -1 moreLamont and his son did an excellent job! They are extremely experienced, patient, careful and conscientious. They work at any project until it is completed perfectly. They are very friendly and will answer any questions and explain how things are going, what they are doing and what they find. They are extremely knowledgable, hard-working, honest and take pride in their work and a job well done. I trust them to work in my home when I am not present and their values and ethics are extraordinary. From this point forward, I will never use any other plumbers!
Description of Work: Called Lamont Hodges at the recommendation of my electrician to have him come and reinstall the bathtub and shower surround that was installed improperly (crooked, not shimmed, not anchored correctly). Lamont and his son came and removed the shower surround and tub (plumbing fixtures and drywall had to be removed in order to perform this work). It was not an easy job undoing and correcting other plumbers work. It took them the entire day to perform the work and do it right. They also found that the tub spout leaked (the previous plumber either didn't test it, or didn't care). They replaced an O-ring and it was good (they were brand new Delta fixtures, so I don't know if the previous plumber damaged something, or it was just a defect). They reinstalled the tub and shower surround correctly (clicked into the slots with no gaps or unevenness), installed it flush with the back wall and shimmed the front wall so the drywall and tile could be installed straight and level and attached the shower surround correctly using the proper places indicated for the screws. They fixed everything so that is was done right (and charged $200 less than the previous plumbers who did a shoddy job).

 + -1 moreThey are very professional, punctual and I just liked them and related to them. It took them two days to do the job. They were always on time. We had plumbed our entire house in copper but when they did the connection they used another material so my husband wished we had discussed this up-front since this is not what he wanted. This is nothing against them; all the plumbers are using the material they used but I wished it had come up.
Description of Work: I used Hodges Plumbing to do the plumbing work when I added a new bathroom to my old house.

 + 0 moreHodges Plumbing went above and beyond. Very responsive and flexible in coordinating the work to be done around the other work being done for the kitchen remodel. Very knowledge and professional. Suggested additional changes that could be made to make existing plumbing more effective and bring it up to code. Very efficient and kept the work area clean. Very reasonably priced. Would not hesitate to call them in the future.
Description of Work: Kitchen remodel - replaced old PVC lines in crawl space, ran new drain and supply lines for new sink. Replaced old drain and supply line for original sink. Ran water supply line for ice maker in fridge. Installed faucets and garbage disposals.
