Grateful Decks

I recently hired Grateful Decks to trim two of my neighbor’s very tall trees that were hanging over the fence and self-pruning limbs and branches all over my yard. Michael made quick work of project without butchering either of the neighbor’s trees. In fact, the neighbor asked for Michael’s contact info for future work. I have been doing business with Michael and Grateful Desks for over 20 years. During this time he’s done tree and deck work for me at my primary residence and at two rental properties. I have always found his prices to be very competitive and found his work and commitment to quality superior. I have recommended Michael and Grateful Decks to at least three of my friends who have also used him repeatedly over the years, and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who needs tree or deck work.

We ordered a cord of wood and had it delivered yesterday. This was repeat business, because we were so pleased in all aspects of our initial firewood purchase last year. The quality and price of the product are only matched by the exceptional courtesy and professionalism we experienced on both occasions. Timeliness, communication, and all elements of customer focus, grade A. We will continue to bring our business to Grateful Decks, and highly recommend them to those we know.

Michael and his co-workers were very solicitous, punctual, and competent. Michael even helped us locate the replacement boards at a discounted price. He did a fabulous job, quickly and efficiently. The work was meticulously done. We are very happy with the end product - it looks better than the original! Michael was very flexible and supportive in working with some necessary but unanticipated changes to the planned job. His cost was also significantly less than a competitor's quote. We will definitely call on Grateful Decks for our next deck job (which might be sooner rather than later because the Trex on our other deck is also degrading).

Michael removed our ratty old decomposing Trex boards and replaced them with Timbertech plastic coated boards.

The guys who came out, trimmed 3 very large silver maple trees. They were extremely nice and very professional. they cleaned up after themselves. Michael was very knowledgeable and called me to make sure I was happy with the work his guys were doing.

Old deck was redwood and it was replaced with a composite deck. Old deck was 10x10 and new deck is 10x11. Very thorough on the work and clean up. Did not find one nail or screw after they were done. Used these folks 2 years earlier to rebuild deck on the front of my house. Would highly recommend these folks.

Mike is a very thorough contractor that is keen to perfection. If you're not happy with his work, he will bend over backward to make it right for you. He is meticulous when it comes to his job. He makes sure that what you ask for, you get and is willing to go the extra mile to make you happy. I had an older deck that needed to be replaced and he was able to get me a quote and construction started within 14 days. He made sure that everything was within code so he didn't have any issues getting the construction to pass regional code. He is a very clean person, that will make sure he doesn't leave anything behind when he's done. If after he's done and you have an issue, he will come back and make it right. I would highly recommend this contractor to anyone that is needing one.

They worked all day until after dark. They did a beautiful job and did a great job cleaning up. They told me that if they missed anything to let them know.

Michael came out the next day and removed a very large dead tree that was in front of our house. He also hauled out wood stacked around the property. I thought the price was very reasonable. I see he also does decks...I used only for tree but would consider him for any deck work if needed. We have decided to use him for future tree removals and trimming. He seemed very knowledgeable about the local trees as well. Very pleasant to work.
