RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION! Dan Wright, Sylvie Cherek and all the people at Gloriod only have time for themselves. Quick back story, we rented a home for two years from them. At first, they failed to provided us with garage door openers and only gave us 1 key to the house. But we moved in. Now our saving grace here is we took photos of everything the day we moved in!! I recommend you do the same with dealing with them. Below is the list of problems we have while renting from them. 1. Heat fail 3 time over two years with 3 + days before anyone came to address it. 2. The Deck is falling off the back of the home, no one did anything about it. 3. The smoke detector in one of my kid’s room fail 1 year after moving in, still not fixed when we moved out. 4. Broken Blinds in bathroom and bedrooms 5. Standard carpet stains for a rental but still had to clean them 6. Hail storm form July 2016 that left whole in the roof and total damage to the home, never fixed 7. Lost the lease extension paperwork 8. Maintenance person verbally told us that they were directed by the Gloriod staff to find any reason to hang the maintenance bills on our responsibility. So here is the best part, the above was never dealt with until after we moved out and they are send us the bill as well as threating us with collection and court. But again, we have all the documentation, photos and other certified vendors with proof of the negligence. My fear here is how many other renters have ran into the same thing with no way out? So, the question becomes that if they deal with renters this way and can’t document anything, can or would they really have the skills or desire to process your home loan and home purchase correctly???
