Working with whole crew at Genesis Group has been great! They worked very hard throughout the entire process to make sure I was satisfied (which is a tall order, as I am a very particular customer). If you need a custom landscaper from conceptual design to detailed installation, then I would highly recommend. As with anything of quality, you can expect to pay a price commiserate the size of your particular project. I’d give them 6 stars, but the rating system is capped at 5!

Design through to completion of the front and back yard landscaping was done on budget and timely. Very professional and handled unforeseen circumstances very well. Very accommodating with changes. Integrity of the crew and staff was exceptional. Very pleased with our new front and back yards. Amber really helped mold our ideas into a superb outdoor space. Entire crew was hard working and pleasant to work with.

Was very easy to work with Genesis Group. My designer, Amber, was very responsive to my specific needs and was very familiar with xeriscape. Fabulous design! The team that implemented the design was very efficient and installation went smoothly. I did have an issue with a tree and they immediately replaced it. I highly recommend them!

Great! Superior workmanship and continued, thorough communication from beginning to the end. The on-site crew was polite and extremely respectful. Each day they had all of their supplies neatly stored. Various neighbors stopped by inquiring about the company as they were also very impressed with the finished product. Definitely recommend Genesis Group and would use them again if another project arises.

The project manager and workers were professional and friendly. The individual who actually performed work was very experienced and efficient. Once the work was started, work continued without pause until completed - on time and schedule.

Excellent Job! We had to have our 3-year-old large deck replaced. Genesis did a fantastic job. The crew showed up every morning on-time, and cleaned-up the yard before quitting for the day. Kyle, the project manager, was very helpful. Due to weather conditions the deck was not completed before a planned trip so while we were gone Kyle sent picture updates. We came home to a nice new deck. We highly recommend Genesis.

Delighted with the outcome and process was so much easier than I expected. Estimate was done quickly with detailed plans, showing really listened to what I wanted. Permit and final plans done quicker than I expected. Crew did a great job and introduced themselves. Very neat and clean cut. They were very familiar with the plans, worked hard and quietly. They made sure I was happy with each step -- including the stain color. Pergola is over a large, round patio with a stone wall containing multiple columns and openings. Pergola is a trapezoid and looks amazing. Complements the round patio nicely and gives much welcome shade in a yard with an unobstructed southwest exposure that gets a lot of wind. Two of the columns were not needed for the pergola posts. I wasn't sure what I wanted on top of those columns besides the stone top. Crew suggested adding shorter posts in them to be used for lighting or hanging plant baskets. Was very reasonably priced and looks fantastic. The job site was cleaned every day. They worked straight through the project and were not called off to do other jobs. Foreman Jack was involved an appropriate amount and checked up often. That was much appreciated. A quality business.

The project started about 2 weeks later than we had agreed and took about a week longer than expected (about 4 or 5 weeks overall). I didn't consider this to be a big deal and is not uncommon in the industry. Once the project started, Genesis was great. Their Project Manager for this project, Bryan, was onsite every day for at least 30 minutes (normally longer) and easy to work with. The crews were professional and typically onsite from 0730 to 1700 with very occasional weekend work. I monitored the progress of the project throughout and caught several mistakes (this is very common in industry), and the Genesis team was always very quick to correct any problems that arose with a good attitude. Overall, the work turned out great and my wife and I were very pleased. The experience was fairly low-stress due to the Genesis Group's professionalism and strong work ethic. I could tell the team took pride in their work and at the end of the project we have a beautiful backyard we are very happy with!

Eric (Sales) and John (Project Manager) were very responsive and very respectful of my time and property. They were quick to answer questions and gave me confidence, both in their knowledge and their ability to deliver when they said they would. I was pleased with the experience and the final product.

Genesis did a great job in a timely manner. They were actually able to start the project ahead of what was originally agreed on. They were on the job every day of the work week, showing up at a consistent time and working an honest full day, each day. The project manager kept me informed thru out the project and they were able to knock out the job quickly. The workmanship is top notch and my wife and I are very pleased with the nice, new decks and porch we have. After spending a couple of months meeting with contractors and then waiting for quotes (some never came), Genesis was very competitive and they got the quote to me in a timely manner, which is one way I judge a contractor. Their quote came in at the mid-range of most of the quotes I received and I felt for the services and work quoted, they were fair. I highly recommend this company and plan on using them in the future for an upcoming landscaping project.

It went exceptional, from the Sales Manager (Eric), to the Project Manager (Jack), to the Installers (Kyle and Danny). We also had a couple visit from the owner (Barry). The job was done on time with perfection. Workers were always on time and the jobsite was always clean at the end of the day. Normally there are problems with a job this large, but they made sure it was completed to my satisfaction and if I had any problems in the future to let them know.

The whole process went very well. We liked the sales person, and the products offered. The crew that installed the deck were kind and professional.

Eric was very punctual and professional, and was the only one of the contractors who offered a drawn-up plan with the quote. I ended up going with another contractor's design because it gave me more of the flat space at the bottom of the wall that I wanted for my dogs, but I would not hesitate to work with Genesis again in the future.

Waiting to see if they show up to resolve finishing Issues. Project t manager still on hunting trip, owner too busy too be bothwred, salesman has other commitments. Charging me $400 to spread $120 worth of rock which took an hour to spread. It was 2 tombs to spread with bobcat. I wish I made $400 hr labor rate

Project started ahead of the anticipated schedule. All contractors were prompt and courteous. The project manager, Jack, made several follow up visits during the duration of the project and was extremely responsive to any concerns we may have had. End result was better was as anticipated.

Jack got a crew to us and got our project started even earlier than we?d expected; he knew we were anxious to get going and see completion before wintery weather might arrive. Your initial design work on our back deck and patio was great, but through careful listening and thoughtful planning, Jack tweaked the plan until it met our needs and wishes to a T, from deck steps and lighting to plantings we hope the deer won?t want to eat. He understood our wish for the deck and patio to be an interfacing design, and the result actually exceeds our expectations. He kept all phases of the project moving along without delay; this included having all necessary materials delivered in a timely manner and personnel here on the job without fail. Also, Jack seemed to be available 100% of the time, answering every call and text in real time so there never seemed a delay or wait for a return call. He stopped here at the job site at key intervals and stayed on top of the details. ? I can?t say enough about how much we appreciated Russ and Dave. It was a pleasure to have them working here, and they were here for long hours each day, and they did excellent work. ? Jorge and Jorge, Jr. worked so hard, also for long hours, at stone cutting the flagstone for our patio floor and at building the stone wall around our patio. Jorge?s work was so much more than ?just? the brute physical work this phase of the project entailed; he is truly an artist and designed our patio floor one piece of flagstone at a time until it came together, actually a work of art. The same can be said for the stone walls he built. ? We?re so glad we added the driveway into this project, and we?re so very glad Jack hired Freddy and his crew to grade our driveway and do all the work it took to give us a beautiful concrete driveway. From the start to the completion of his work, Freddy?s expertise, as well as his clear intention that we would get a driveway that met our expectations, put us at ease. We were very impressed by the level of professionalism exhibited by everyone we were in touch with on the Genesis team. 1. Workers were extremely professional and courteous, mindful of our needs (for example keeping the gates closed when dogs were out). 2. We knew at what time they would start work and they told us daily when they were done and would be back. 3. Both men worked diligently every day and left the premises clean. 4. The project manager kept in touch daily and was very cooperative with us. He worked with us when we changed our mind about the type of railing we wanted installed. 5. The work was concluded within the proposed time frame. We would rehire this team any time. It was a very smooth and very pleasant experience.
