Crew was very nice and work was clearly very hard. Arrived as expected every day . Workplace left neat every day End result is very pretty , and we have had several compliments from the neighbors .It was a bit pricey, but the work was extensive, and a lot was accomplished. More man hours than expected, too, so I guess it all evens out in the end. Thanks for a great job !!

The job started and finished as scheduled, with 2-4 landscapers working at any given time. In the middle of the project we made a couple of small change which I imagine added a small amount of cost for Gary, but for which he did not pass on to us. The results were as desired and as agreed upon, and about 3 months later, the back yard still looks great. We use it a lot more than we did before. Things I liked: - Gary provided good advice during the planning stage. - Handled small mods to the plan without tacking on extra charges. - The results are great. I am 100% satisfied. Things I didn't like (minor nits, but things that could have been handled better): - I thought Gary would be here more often during the project, but I really didn't see him much. There were some recurring disagreements between his workers which would have been handled if he had been around. - Somewhat related to Gary not being around a lot, we were not always clear on status and schedule during the project, and sometimes had to call him for updates. In hindsight I wish we had set up a regular time to meet or just talk on the phone each day for a couple minutes to review status. Overall I am very happy with how things turned out.

They called us three times to get a bid before they actually came for the estimate. For being punctual, they came on time during the actual estimate.

The promised quote/plan did not arrive.

Couldn't be happier with the result and the overall experience! The company overall management and the workers were courteous, friendly and professional. Any and all options were clearly explained and discussed. No pressure to have any one idea vs. another completed. There were several weather related delays, but overall the project was completed in a timely manner and the results are excellent. The before and after results are outstanding. Great work.

I thought that they could have done better. There were several calls that I made. They came out one time and I wanted them to work on it to the conclusion. However, they worked on it for half a day and left. I thought that it could have been finished in one day. It took two days and they charged me for two service day calls. It was $120 instead of a $60 service day charge, as it was $60 every time that they came out. It was frustrating. When you could call them out for a day then they should complete the job in a day. I would probably not use them again in the future and would look for someone else.

Not reliable

Great experience. They showed up early the morning that was scheduled and began work immediately. Brought a large group of individuals so that the work went quickly. When they found a problem with the original plan, I was contacted before any changes were made. The project was completed on time and matched the appraised cost.

They were wonderful and exceeded my expectations. They were very thorough and professional. The owner did most of the work himself which I appreciate.

We got several quotes from fencing companies and Gary's was the lowest. My neighbor was a bit concerned about quality because of the low price. But we went with Gary and the fence looks great. The put all the dirt back under the fence nice and level. They also cut some branches on my tree to get the fence in properly. My neighbor was so pleased with the work he hired Gary to do a new fence with his other neighbor.

Good. Gary will continue to come back to make sure you are satisfied.

At the beginning Gary was great. He was fast with the initial consultation and drawing up of the contract. It was after the first check to him that things started to go down hill. He was scheduled to start work the first week of March and didn't actually start work till middle of April. He claimed his other jobs took longer than expected, pushing my job back. This would be a reoccurring theme throughout the entire job. Once he started the job, the work was OK but there were constant delays. At the end all that was left to finish the job was to install some window hole grates. I didn't get these till August! But the worst part was I noticed in May that my sod was constantly wet and when I told him about it he blew me off for 3 months saying we have been having a wet season! He finally came out in August and found that 2 out of the 4 sprinkler flow control parts failed. I had been loosing water for three months, costing me over $1200 in water bills. He refused to compensate me, even partially.
