Highly recommend this company! They offered next day service at a reasonable price, customer service was fantastic and Brandon (installer) was very thorough and respectful. So refreshing to find this high level of service in today's world!!!

My current repair company could not come out for a week. I saw the reviews here and contacted this outfit. They were able to squeeze me in right away. The spring was broken, and they fixed it quickly and gave me a senior discount. They are now my garage door repair company!

This was a GREAT experience! First, we used Angie's List to request several quotes. We heard from Father & Son Garage Door Co. almost immediately. One of the others never replied--won't try them again! We booked an appointment with Father & Son for the next day. They (two of them) arrived early, finished quickly, and were thorough in their explanation of their work. Payment was seamless. We'd recommend Father & Son Garage Door Co. for any work in their areas of expertise--this was one of the best repair experiences we've ever had! Bravo!

My old wooden garage doors that came with the house finally gave up the ghost and I needed to replace. Having had a superb experience with Father & Son Garage Door Company previously I did not hesitate to use them again (see my other review for that excellent experience). Dan (owner) came out expeditiously and I had a quote the same day. I had priced some installations with some other companies and it was clear I was getting a fantastic deal for two double steel insulated garage doors. And to top it off they also agreed to make a courtesy repair to my current damaged door so I could access my garage while my order processed - bonus! And much appreciated. The next day I informed them of my style and color choices and the order was placed. The doors arrived early and several days later were installed. Mike came out and installed the doors and I am thrilled with the quality, fast and efficient installation and operation of the doors. Everything went off without a hitch. Amazing job! I love these guys, professional and fast work, wonderful price. I recommend Father & Son without reservation to my friends on Angie's List - these guys ROCK!

Quick and efficient with courteous, knowledgeable servicemen. In and out under an hour arrived inside service window. Called late Friday, arrived Monday morning after giving advice on how to open door without spring to get the car out. You'll need two sturdy people! They gave a Military Discount.

The torsion spring that was already clamped together broke again on Friday evening. Check Angie's list and found 3 companies that claimed to be available on Saturdays. Father & Sons was the first to call back. Father & Sons was the only one to call back. Scheduled a repair for Monday. Father & Sons arrived on time, repaired the spring in less than an hour and charge their standard rate for spring replacement. No surprises. John even screwed down some door trim at no extra cost. Father & Sons done good.

Spring broke on mother's day and my car was stuck inside garage. They fit me into their schedule right away and had a crew on site ready to work first thing Monday morning. All the repairs were completed in a snappy 30 minutes. I thought I was watching an Indy 500 pit crew as they moved through the effort at lightning speed. They were fast. Real fast! They caught and fixed some things the other garage door company had done wrong on a previous effort as well - bonus! And to top it off the garage door is about 60% quieter now after completion. Friendly, courteous, conscientious, Superb effort from a team of professionals!! Great price. I will absolutely hire them again and wholeheartedly recommend them to my friends on Angie's list!

We had initially hired another well known garage door company to give us an estimate. They came out and looked at everything. They said we needed to replace a bunch of stuff and upgrade to a commercial grade door. They were supposed to provide an estimate but never did. We called Father and Son Garage door. Dan, the owner, came out promptly. We told him what the other company said and he told us we did not need to upgrade the door. He made some suggestions based on problems we told him about which came in much cheaper than the other company wanted to do. We asked for estimates on several options we discussed. He said he would have the estimates to us later that day. That afternoon his company called with the estimates. She broke down all the costs for us under the different options, and told her what option we wanted to go with so they could order the parts. Because of some construction damage we had to the RV door, F&S could not do their part until the construction work was done so we had to coordinate the two contractors. Everything worked out very well. His son-in-law Mike, did the actual work and they did a great job for us. They were on time, friendly, and very professional. A few weeks later we had a minor issue to be fixed. Dan came out right away and took care of it. So nice to have such wonderful customer service for a change.

I also asked for and received a quote for a new garage door because ours has a crack in it.

My garage door is about 20 years old and is starting to have some issues. A couple of the hinges have popped and it was starting to come off of its tracks, preventing it from opening and closing. Within a couple of hours of me calling Father and Sin Garage Door CO they were at my house repairing and servicing my door. They solved the problem.

Called at 3 and Dan (owner) answered. Told him that one of my springs just broke and needed someone out today. Said he had a truck out that just finished and would send them down my way. Less than 45 mins later, they were working on fixing my door. Worked hard and fast, and got me up and running in no time. Great Job!

This company has such great business practices. When you call you get a LIVE person instead of a message machine. Our garage door has a 2-spring system, and she recommended that we go ahead and replace the 2nd spring for $20 more as a preventative measure. Since one broke and the other is the same age, the other one may break soon and require another service call. For 20 bucks more it sounds like a great deal...I don't even know if 20 bucks would even cover the material cost of the 2nd spring. I was able to get a same day appointment. The technicians arrived within the 2-hour window and called me beforehand to let me know they were on their way to my home. Once they completed the work, I tested it out with my remote, in which I had just put in a new cell battery. The remote wouldn't work for some reason, so technicians worked on troubleshooting it (checking to make sure the battery had been put in the remote properly, making sure it was programmed correctly with the garage door opener, etc.) I had bought a 2-battery package at the store, so we decided to try the second battery, and then the remote worked. Apparently I had a brand new battery that was defective. I appreciate the fact that the technicians took the extra time to problem solve the remote for me. Hiring Father and Son to do service on our garage door was such a HASSLE-FREE experience for me as a customer. The ease of contacting them for a service request, the accurate communication of service & cost throughout the process, technicians arriving within the specified time period, their commitment to make sure your entire garage system is working well... all these things contribute to the fact that we will not hesitate to call them for service again when the need arises.

I called these folks for an appointment this morning and they were here this afternoon! My sensors were mis-aligned and my garage door wouldn't close without holding the button down. So it opened with the remote opener in the car, but wouldn't close. They fixed my sensors and gave my garage door a tune-up. Their work is warrantied for a year so if I have any problems, they'll come back out. Nice guys who came on the service call.

I got a two hour window on the day I called. During the window, Mike called to let me know he was on the way. I was expecting to replace the springs that day and then get an estimate to replace the door. Mike took a look at everything and said I really didn't need to replace the door, but just a few parts. There were a couple of parts that had failed and he gave me options of replacing as little or as much as I wanted. He had all the parts needed for the job and at the same cost I would pay anywhere else. Mike replaced all the rollers, the traveler connecting the door to the chain, and then adjusted the stop points. He was able to get all the work done in less than two hours where it would have taken me a whole day and a couple trips to the store to do the same.

Excellent Service prompt and efficient My garage door broke on a Friday afternoon. I called for service straight away. Technicians arrived before scheduled time on Saturday and had my family off to there busy day in less than 1hour.

Our garage door had started sticking half-way up. The guys realized that it was actually being blocked by part of a storage system that we had hanging from the ceiling of the garage. They helped me bring the stuff down out of the storage system and re-attached the storage system to the ceiling, none of which was technically their job so they didn't have to do it. Then they "tuned up" the garage door itself by tightening the chain, tightening and/or replacing all of the screws in the door, and adjusting the opener settings. The door now opens more smoothly than before with no issues.

I recommended my parents to them after I found them on angies list. They gave my parents a fair price for a solid job! I was impressed by the work and how quickly they solved the problem. Thank you for taking good care of my retired parents.

This is the second time I've used Father and Son Garage door and I'm happy to say the quality of their work and professionalism hasn't changed. The gentlemen were punctual, professional, quick and tidy which lead to another positive experience as the customer.

They also performed a tune-up for both garages without any additional charge. They were polite, answered all questions, and generally very professional. They only did the necessary work, and not try to up-sell. The job was done within the time they stated. They provide a 12 month warranty for the labor and 2 years of the products. I would certainly use them again.

Arrived 15 minutes late, parked in driveway. Asked them to park in street, they complied. Technicians seemed to be in a hurry to complete the job. Explained the functions of the equipment after installation. Overall satisfied.
