The person came out and put in the wrong window and it was like the goofiest thing because we had muntin bars that are like a grid that goes between the panes of the windows. He took the grid out and didn?t put it back in, he threw it away. He said that he was going to order another one and would call back, and that was two and half months ago. I have not heard from him since, he never called me, he said it will be a week before we got that. But again, he never charged me. I didn?t follow up with them because it has not been paid, I figured that with the holidays they probably might have gotten backed up, but now it has been a really long time that they have delayed on it. I don?t know whether they can?t get it and they are afraid to call me and let me know they messed up. He is going to have to get something for us. Also, I had a leaky window and I had tried for years to get it fixed and the guy fixed it. I don?t want to totally dog him. For the windows he did replace, he did a good job. It is just the grid that needs to go in there. However, I would still recommend them. I knew what they were going to charge me, the quality was there but it is just the error. I would have rated them well if they had done it correctly. I would use them in future.

They were absolutely excellent all the way around. We got estimates from three or four companies. We decided to go with them, mainly because they were locally owned. They also had exceptional ratings on Angie's List. They had the best price compared to two other larger companies.

We met with the owner who was very nice and gave us a very detailed and interesting presentation. The prices were very good and the quality of the windows were very good. We will definitely keep them in mind for the future.

In both our experiences with Dutch's, we have been very happy with the end product, both in terms of window/door and installation quality, but we have not been happy with how long it took. Both times, several months elapsed between our purchase of the windows and their installation, and there were a number of tentative installation dates that ended up being pushed back. Once the installation has occurred things have been great both times - the windows are high quality and easy to operate, and it's easy to feel the difference between the new windows and the originals. Dutch's has also done a fantastic job working with our stucco-exterior house: there has not been any stucco damage at all in any of the window or door installations. We are likely to use Dutch's again because the price was EXCELLENT both times, especially in comparison to Andersen Renewal, and we have been happy with the end result...but we know to expect it to take a very long time between purchase and installation.

I am a shopper when it comes to big purchases, and I like to get the best deal with the best quality. Dutch did an outstanding job and I can't recommend them enough. I have had many bad experiences with home improvement projects, but Dutch was wonderful. I like to do my own work around the house to make sure it is done right, but I didn't have the time to replace every window. Dutch was very honest and upfront, and the window we ended up with is great. Our energy bills have dropped, it is quieter in our house, and they look great. Our installer was top notch as well. Kim Mast installed all of our products, and he was more worried then I was about making sure everything looked great. Overall it was a great experience and I would choose them again if given the opportunity!

I took about 4 estimates. He came out on top. He was very professional. The windows were high-quality. We spent about $5,000. The owner came out to my house. He was very personable. It is a small, local company. The windows were made locally as well. I will use this company again in the future.

Easy to work with and the workers did a good job

Replaced the door quickly and professionally. Cleaned the work area after the job was done and removed all debris from the area.

Everything went extremely well. The installer arrived on time every day and carefully and completely cleaned up the area around each window as it was completed. The job took about four days (due to one rainy day). Our house has a stucco exterior and he was very careful to cut the old windows out without doing any major damage to the existing stucco. There were some small spots I used stucco patch on after he was finished, but these were minor and a result of the difficulty of working with the stucco. He was a true professional with years of experience and it showed in the quality of his work.

We had a fairly new house (5 years), with some really lousy builder grade windows. Cold in winter. Roast in the summer. Had one of the well advertised, (starts with a CH), companies come out and give us an estimate. It was just like getting hustled by a used car salesman. After that ugly experience, we did some research on providers in our area on Angie's List and found Dutch's had some very good reviews. We called and had Gary Dutch come out and give us an estimate. Gary was very professional, up front and honest. Gave us a VERY fair price on what we wanted. As a matter of fact, we had enough leeway to get all of our doors and windows done. The installer, Frank, came out and did a super job of installation. He worked all by himself, was very courteous and did a wonderful job. Our new windows are outstanding. Our basement is now warm instead of a meat locker and the upstairs remains toasty even on the coldest nights. Thanks guys.

The worker arrived promptly as promised. He was very attentive to keeping the carpets protected and cleaning all dust, as this could have been a very messy task. He took great care to ensure all sliders were level and operating smoothly before he left. The final outcome was excellent!

Dutch's Home Improvement replaced 4 windows and a side entry door. Overall the workman was pleasant and hard working. He did some damage to the foundation plantings which I feel could have been avoided with a bit more care. The first set of windows had bizarre leaks in them and Amerimax windows had to send replacement windows after the repair attempt failed. Gary Dutch never tried to duck the situation and handled himself professionally throughout the entire process. Because the windows had to be replaced (I had to take a day off work for the second window installation) I can only grade the entire job as a ''B'' below...no reflection on Dutch's but maybe on Amerimax's product.
