Dutch's was very good about listening to what I was looking for in a new front door. It took three months to go from the initial appointment to the final installation. I was happy with the final product but it took far longer than I had expected. To Dutch's credit is was not them but the company manufacturing the door.

They were good. They were really easy to work with. The cost is very low. They just step in so timely. We had no issues at all.

Dawn and Gary Dutch are absolutely the nicest people you ever want to meet but they have too much faith in their installers. I have called them so many times with my problems and they seem to care but the problems still remained. After replacing the windows and doors I was expecting my gas bill to be lower but it never was. I always had to wear a sweater because I was cold and the furnace was always running. I put drapes on all the windows, got a new furnace and replaced the roof. What more could I do? Still chilly in the house. The sliding glass door was always giving us problems. They came out many times to adjust the door. Few days later the door wouldn't lock or jump the track and was sweating.My son took off the molding to see just what the problem was. The door was hanging by 4 nails and there was no insulation around the door. They sent out a different installer and he did a beautiful job of re-setting the door put new molding and insulating the door. Works great now. Then it dawned on us. The cold is coming from the windows..There is a draft in the bath and bedrooms. Put a candle there it was blown out. You can hear the wind in my room. It just whistles at night. I have ten windows that need the molding removed, they need to be re-set and insulated and the molding replaced with something other than that tin. I have a front door that is warping. I am at the point of being tired of calling them. I am sure they are tired of me too. I can't recommend them because I don't know which installer you will get. I hope the one who installed my windows and doors is gone. Looking for some one who can do the job proper. I got to get it done because I have to get the house painted. UPDATE; Received a call from Gary Dutch yesterday (June 2, 2014) Apologizing for the work that was done. He thought the work was done but did't know of all the problems. He told me that the installer who did the work on the house is no longer with him. Thank goodness. He offered to re do the windows and door. It will be about a month before he can start but promised to take care of all my problems. Will update this after the work is done and let you all know. UPDATE: Due to other commitments and the bad weather it took some time for the windows to be redone. The windows were redone in September and now they are weather tight and much quieter and dust free. Thank you very much.

They were really good. They worked with us in choosing the right siding that went with the house. They came and did a good job. They were really easy to work with.

Dutch?s Home Improvement is one of those rare companies that is built on a foundation of integrity, honesty, and exemplary customer service. We hired Dutch?s Home Improvement to replace all windows (23 total) plus a sliding patio door in our home. We were very impressed from the beginning with the professional sales approach and Gary?s willingness to answer all our questions. He is very knowledgeable of the products, and he helped us select the right windows for us. (We ultimately decided on the Restorations windows.) I also appreciated the fact that every single time I called the office number, I was able to speak with a real person, never a voicemail. The installers were professional, friendly, and they cleaned up every evening before leaving. (This was a 4-day job for them.) I felt very comfortable having them in my home every day. They did impeccable installation work, and the windows are just beautiful! We were shocked the difference these windows made in the appearance of the exterior of our home. Gary even came by personally after all work was done to inspect and make sure we were happy with the final product, which of course we are! We are doing other home improvement work, and even other contractors have commented how beautiful the windows look! We could not be happier with Dutch?s Home Improvement. Gary truly cares about his customers, and I don?t hesitate to say that he is the best home improvement contractor we have ever worked with.

I chose this company on the basis of Angie's List reviews. I am very happy with this choice; I feel that the company dealt fairly and honestly with me. They did everything asked of them and did it well, even going above and beyond what they needed to do.

So far, everybody has been so nice. We talked, obviously, to one of the owners. The crew came around Friday just to survey what they had to do to make sure they have ready all the right equipment and the right material. They said that they will be back this morning and sure enough they were. They unloaded what they have on the truck and they said they probably get rolling around noon. It might take them two weeks to complete the work.

Their first service was to repair an existing window - that was such excellent service I called them back 3 months later to replace four other windows. From Gary's estimate to the installation - all an easy process done with professionalism and great service.

Perry Dutch came to my home to show me the storm door options. He was very professional and I was impressed with the background of his family's company and the quality of their installers. I plan to replace several slider doors in my town home and will definitely use his company.

After a 43 minute hail storm on our home that has an open range view with no tree or etc. barrier we received roof, fence, window, deck, entire house had to be repainted, mailbox, and lighting damage. We had to replace 16 windows and one sliding glass door. We requested several estimates from many different top rated window companies. We picked Dutch's Home Improvement - Gary Dutch - to take on our window replacement. After days on the computer researching different grades of windows, specifications on each type, customer reviews we went with Ameriglass Windows because we live in Colorado and have to deal with the high altitude and ever changing weather. Gary Dutch - is the local dealership for Ameriglass - our AG3 glass system. (Have him show you the windows and what they can do). In the summer it was too hot to sit at our kitchen table due to the heat radiated from our windows and in the winter we had to keep all the blinds closed to keep out the freezing cold. Now - with our new windows - we keep the blinds open and enjoy our view year round and it does not get cold or hot. Plus - I no longer can hear the school bus go up the hill early in the morning. Great windows. Dutch's is a family owned and operated business (since 1989) - what Gary said - he did and on time. He was very professional and easy to work with. His crew has been installing windows for years and were extremely knowledgeable, professional and on time. They even worked over time to get the job done before our Christmas Party. His office, Dawn, was extremely helpful at all times and even helped me with my CO Springs window rebate. We are extremely happy with Dutches and Ameriglass and would highly recommended them to anyone. We also picked them because of their A rating on Angie's List and their A+ on the BBB and they were insured and bonded. They do NOT sub contract out either. Their windows were $4,000 cheaper than the same grade windows. I would give them a AAA+ if I could - they are that good.

Not well. Perry came out a total of four times. Once to measure the door, once to get 1/2 of the price of the door project, a third time to re measure the door with his carpenter (who didn't show up) and a fourth time with the carpenter. Our hopes were, when Perry showed up the third time, that the door would be installed in a week or two.. We were then told that they had never ordered the door and that they were unable to provide the service. We had assumed when they took the down payment that the door had been ordered.They did refund our money quickly but we are extremely dissatisfied with the unprofessional way in which all of this was handled. Their letter that accompanied the refund check actually said that "If we can ever be of assistance to you, please contact our office.) Seriously? Why in the world would we trust Dutch's Home Improvement again after the debacle of this SMALL PROJECT?

Gary Dutch came out and gave us an estimate. We had his company install a back door 4 years ago so we were familiar with the products he offered. He told us that it would be about 6 weeks until the doors came, but it turned out to be 8 weeks between the estimate and the actual installation date. On the scheduled installation date, the installer (Nathan) arrived on time. He warned us that he might be creating some dust when he reworked the door opening and went about doing his job. He performed his tasks in such a way as to minimize the amount of time that there was no door in the opening. Since it was a cold day, we appreciated his effort. When he was installing the locks, I explained that we wanted it keyed to our existing key and gave him the key. He took care of it and the locks worked perfectly when he finished. When he was done, he cleaned up everything and vacuumed both inside and outside the door area. We discussed how the storm door was closing and he made a couple of adjustments. We are very pleased with both the entry door and the storm door and with the speed and ease of installation.

My exterior door has been replaced and I am very pleased with the quality of the door, installation and service provided. Since the door had to be ordered and it took longer to get, Gary Dutch gave me an upgrade on the door sill and hinges. The installer was Nathan. He arrived on time and completed the work. I am very happy with the outcome and will use Dutch's in the future.

Although I didn't hire Dutch's Home Improvement to do the job, I was very impressed with Perry Dutch's knowledge and professionalism. He took his time to ensure he knew exactly what we wanted. The written estimate was complete and the cost reasonable. I would not hesitate to consider Dutch's Home Improvement for future work.

After doing a lot of research, I'd had Sunrise Restorations replacement windows put in my previous home on the east coast just a couple years previously, so when my new house in Colorado Springs needed new windows, too, I already had a very short shopping list of window brands that I was considering and was just looking for the best installer. There are a lot of sleazeballs in the replacement window business and I was really pleased to find that Dutch's wasn't one of them; Gary Dutch was very low-pressure, helped me to find the right windows for my house, and also got me a good price so that I could do the whole house instead of just the windows that were in the worst shape. The installers did a good job, including being neater with the caulk and trim than the ones who did my east-coast house. There was a slight mix up when my largest window mistakenly was shipped from the factory with frosted glass instead of clear! I was dubious at first, but they installed the window as-is and then swapped out the glass, which had to be special-ordered.

Gary Dutch came out and did the estimate himself. He was well versed in the products and had great options. On install day, the truck from the manufacturer was running late, but Gary kept me well informed about when they would be out. Installers were great. Quality of product and installation was excellent. Installers were polite and cleaned everything up before leaving. Would definitely recommend Dutch's to my friends.

I first called Dutch's 3 or 4 years ago to get a quote on replacing the windows of my 1950s brick home. I had checked with Lowe's and discovered that my windows were not "off the shelf" but needed to be custom made. A neighbor had used Dutch's and his windows looked good and were insulated to better keep out the cold. I called and Gary responded right away. The bid was too high to replace all the windows the first year so Gary helped me work out a 4 year plan to replace 3 windows a year. This year he gave me a good deal to replace the remaining windows including a very large picture window that included two small side windows. It is really beautiful and shows more of my back yard than the previous window. It has been 3 years and all my windows are finished. Dutch's did a great job every year and every year, my home was got a lot warmer in the winter.

I called Dutch's and set up a time to get an estimate for a door and frame replacement on my 33 year old home. Gary was very professional on the phone. On the day of the estimate, Gary called to let me know he was running a little late and asked if I would still be home to get the estimate. He was only 15 minutes out and I really appreciated the call. Gary arrived and provided the information about the door, frame, painting and installation. I am going to go with the bid from Dutch's. It's great to have someone in a service based company show such a level of professionalism. The other companies I received bids from we're ok, but they just didn't feel like they cared as much.

They are fabulous to deal with. They are very thorough and take great care in their work. They have great pricing and always stand behind their product. I would recommend them to others.

He is extremely professional and has good character. I really liked Gary. He helped me out after a terrible situation. He quoted me $400 higher than what the job actually was so he cut me a check afterwards.

They were very prompt about giving an estimate. Work was done on time. They were punctual in arriving for work. Any problems have been addressed promptly and taken care of correctly.

I called and Dutch's and they sent someone out to discuss options, of which there were many. We got exactly what we wanted and they are GORGEOUS! A trio of installers arrived in the morning, including one very experienced professional, and they completed the job in one day - three very large multi-paned windows, and one regular size that had rotted all the way through to the inside of the house. They worked really hard to get this job done - it was the Friday before Christmas week and it snowed all day but they installed them all and cleaned up after themselves and were out of here by 6pm. I was impressed with their professionalism and hard work. I am quite proud of the new look and the windows get great compliments from guests.

I really like the windows and we're very pleased with the windows. It really went really well for the most part. I would continue to use them in the future.
