They came out super quickly (within a few hours of our request) and gave their recommendation for repair vs replacement. It made more sense to go with the replacement as it was much more cost effective for our nearly 20 year old water heater. They were able to beat the other quote I got for the same job by over $300! Very thankful for their speedy and affordable solution to our issue!

1st let me say thanks for fixing the issue. Apologies for this being so long, but I'm PISSED and feel taken advantage of... I live in TX and this was an emergency situation regarding a rupture in the water mainline at my home in CO... water was leaking thru the seal of the intake valve and coming up thru a crack in the foundation inside the house. The city had to be called at 930 pm to assess the situation and turned the water off. The gentleman from the city explained old house, copper lines and suggested that we bypass the copper with PVC from the house to the city shut off valve. The line outside in the yard had already been replaced 10 yrs ago so the only part that was still copper was right outside the wall and into the house. I called DMB and ask them to give me an estimate.. My husband explained the situation exact from what the city advised, to the line in the yard already being pvc, to bypassing the copper line in the house with a new line. First Mr DMB said that he had never heard of anyone replacing a copper line w/pvc.....huh?... we should have stopped there. Mr DMB goes out to do an estimate and texts me to call him when I had a chance... I call.. leave a msg.. my husband calls.. went to vm... I call again... went to vm... dead phone, I don't know...no big deal. We hear nothing the rest of the day. After not hearing back from him we call his boss and he finally calls us back... says that he would fix but would need to break foundation... my husband explains again about bypassing old line with a new line (cut hole in wall for new line instead of breaking foundation) and connecting to the pvc already in the yard... OK. Mr DMB states they would have to dig about 4-5 ft outside the wall to find the line... and we would have to pay $550 up front before digging.. the whole job would be $1200 to replace... maybe more if they had to dig further out in the yard. At this point I need to get water back into the house and we are assuming they are replacing the copper inside for $1200. I pay the $550, they dig the hole. They expose the line where the pvc is coupled to the copper right outside the wall and it's clear that there is a hole on the copper side. Instead of bypassing the copper inside the house, as agreed, Mr DMB cuts about 6-8" of pvc and copper then couples the damn thing back together and covers the hole back up... didn't do any of the work agreed. Then he has the nerve to still bill me $1100... a hundred less for 20% of the work. I had no problem paying $1200 if he had replaced the copper as agreed...I feel I was RIPPED OFF. My husband questions Mr DMB about it and DMB apologizes for "any miscommunication", there was no need to bypass the copper inside, but he did replace a ball valve and they "guarantee" their work for a year. The city already approved the work and the water is turned back on.. Mr DMB later sends me a bogus estimate invoice showing $550-$1200 for the job that we talked about, but he conveniently failed to list

We have been in this house for 45 years so have had many plumbers come out.....this is the best yet! Extremely professional and easy to schedule. We would highly, highly recommend DMB Plumbing!
