Originally gave this company an 5 star review. Technician came out to repair dryer and said they had the wrong parts and would have to reschedule. I told him I had waited too long already and was in desperate need of having my dryer repaired. He proceeded to call the local appliance parts shop Ingles and checked to see if they had the correct part. They did, and so I left to go purchase it while the tech started taking the dryer apart. After paying the 130 repair fee, plus 130 for parts the dryer worked great! Shortly after the 30 day warranty expired the dryer started making worse sounds than before and smelled like it was burning. I called the company to get them to take care of the situation and was told to just call Samsung for warranty. Which my dryer is no longer under warranty. Then I called the company to speak with someone, was put on hold, and then hung up on. Called back and spoke to someone new and they stated that was not typical protocol for their technicians and that the tech no longer works at the company so they would be able to do anything. They said they are not responsible for what their techs say or do on the job and that I could pay again to have a new tech come out. I would absolutely not recommend this company for any repairs. They don’t stand behind their work, nor do they stand behind what their technicians do on the job. It’s my fault that I was told by their tech to go buy the part from the local parts store, so that their tech could install since the correct parts were not brought to the job. It’s my fault their tech no longer works at the company. As a business, you should always take responsibility for the actions of your employees. Beware of this company. I could not be more disappointed in the service or lack there of provided.

Awful customer service with absurd and ridiculous prices for a 15-minute house call of $149.95 and for a 15-minute labor repair of $199.95. They don’t care about their clients and only care about servicing their pockets. These are not fair and reasonable prices at all. And they wanted to do was explain “why their economy is what it is” and justify their costs because “we are a top 5 servicer in the USA.” I shared my experience and was told “talk soon” and “we look forward to speaking with you” and guess what, no call. It didn’t surprise me at all. I wouldn’t recommend this company at all unless you want to pay an astronomical amount of dollars.

Terrible. It took almost three weeks to get the initial technician scheduled. He diagnosed that the compactor needed a new motor. It took almost a month to get the part and schedule a new technician. The second technician determined the motor was not the problem but rather a sensor and he want not complimentary about the initial technician. It took another month to get the third technician scheduled. This technician took the compactor apart and was here for three hours. He determined that there were two parts required, not one. Again, over a month to schedule the next technician. In the meantime I had submitted a not too favorable review. Rather than call to resolve my issues as most companies would do, I got a voicemail telling me they are cancelling the final service call because of my review and that I should contact GE to get another repair company. So in addition to the incompetence and slow response they are also completely unprofessional. If you are considering using D3/A-OK, I would run the other way for your personal sanity.

Trip 1: Robbie showed up. Looked at the error code that was communicated prior and said he had to order a part. Trip 2. Robbie shows up and has to order another part since he only spent 2 minutes looking at the error code instead of the machine. He also let my dog out without permission. Trip 3: Robbie again. Got the circuit board wet and told us we had to wait 24 hours and call back if it still doesn't work. Been over 60 days and still do not have a working dishwasher. Called back after 24 hours and was transferred to a gentleman in the service department. Was told it was not his job to handle calls and wasn't sure why I was transferred to him. Was told I would receive a call back. That was a lie. Had to contact samsung again. Going to be another week. Hopefully they will find another certified appliance repair company that cares about its reputation.

The technician (Robbie) diagnosed the problem within seconds of hearing an audio recording I made and quickly fixed it. I was very impressed with his knowledge and the company's overall professionalism when scheduling and responding to phone calls. However, the technician expected to receive a tip and it was awkward having to explain that I don't believe it is customary to tip employees making a service call for which I was already paying a fairly high fee. This unfortunately left a sour feeling after he left. I Googled whether tipping appliance repair persons is customary and it is not.

On 10/27/20 I called D3/A-OK Appliance regarding a problem with my dryer. It was making a squeaking noise. On 11/6/20 the technician determined the support roller was bad. It took 23 minutes to complete the work. I priced the roller at $12. I was charged $61 for the roller and $128 for labor for a total of $189. The tech was on-site for 28 minutes. On 11/19/20 he came back a second time to replace the roller. It took ten minutes to replace the roller only to find out that the idler pulley was making the noise. I priced the pulley at $5 and he charged me $78 for a new pulley and no charge for labor. He was on-site for 20 minutes. On 11/30/20 he came back a third time to replace the idler pulley. It took ten minutes to replace the idler pulley and he charged $185 for the labor. He was on-site 18 minutes. In total I paid $452. I priced a new dryer for $599. Considering he was on-site for a total of 66 minutes, his rate will be about $300 per hour. It took more than a month to complete the service and it almost cost as much as a new dryer. I kept both parts. Cleaned them with WD-40 and reinstalled them both in the dryer. They worked perfectly without making any noise. What ever happened to quality service at a fair price? THIS WAS NOT QUALITY AND THIS WAS NOT FAIR. Why should I pay $452 when all it needed was some grease which I ended up doing myself? I talked with the owner of D3/A-ok Appliance to express my concern that the cost was exorbitant. He explained that "he is the premier appliance service company in Colorado Springs, that he has the highest rates because of his premier status, he uses a computer program that has rates pre-set in it regardless of the actual time taken to complete the repair, he has to pass along all of his expenses and will include the tax rate increases that the new president will be adding”. I was shocked by his response. His attitude explains a lot about him and his company. By not having the part on the truck, it allows him to charge the premier rate twice to come back and complete the repair. I explained that this policy is great for him and his business but not so great for the customer who has to pay the bill. I explained that I do not want or need to hire the premier service company, that I do not want or need to pay the highest rates and that he could have saved me a lot of money if he had had the $12 part on the truck. Clearly he is proud of his rates and is more interested in making money and inflating his ego more than caring about the customers that supports his business. He is clearly not interested in providing the least expensive response by putting grease on a squeaky wheel. I can not recommend them and I will never use them again.

Our house was under warranty last year and this was the company they wanted us to use when the heating element went up in the dryer. So last month, when the dryer was doing the same thing, I called them. They came out within two days, on a Saturday. The service rep said that it was the heating element again. Sounded funny to me but I needed a dryer. He said the part would be in on Monday or Tuesday and they'd come right out to fix it. On Tuesday or Wednesday I hadn't heard anything from them so I called. The office said the part would take a week to come in and it was ordered on Monday. So, the following Monday I called in the afternoon. They said it had come in on Friday and they could come on Thursday to install it. So I was without a dryer for two weeks. Last year they took the info from me on make and model when I called the first time and the tech had parts with him. I was very disappointed that wasn't the case this time. I have a real problem with the time line. That it took longer than expected for the part to come in was unavoidable. But to than say that I had to wait four MORE days for an appointment seemed mismanagement to me. I should have been put on the schedule when they knew where the part was coming from and had some idea how long it would take. Failing that, they should have called when the part came in. I've never dealt with a company where I had to call and check up on them not once, but twice. We paid for the entire service the first time they came out. I guess, once they had our money, they figured they didn't have to worry about providing the service. I've since read other reviews. Unless I have a home warranty that requires I use them, I won't. And, if I have a warranty that requires I use them, I will be explaining why I really don't want to do that. If enough people tell the warranty companies, perhaps they will find someone more responsive.

Contacted GE appliance repair for a brand new microwave that wasn't working when we took it out of the box. Scheduled to have someone repair it. The earliest date was 6/23/15. A little after 5 PM on 6/22 this company--authorized service provider for GE called to let me know they didn't have anyone available the next morning to repair my microwave. When I called right back, they were already closed and the message said I would have to call back the next business day. How convenient that they called me after hours to let me know they wouldn't be able to help me the next morning. We had already been 4 days without a microwave that should have been working from the start. The last time I had this company do an authorized repair job for a warranty item, they charged me for a service call!! I didn't want to use them in the first place for the 2nd time. I will never refer them or use them. Horrible way to run a business!!

I called Reliable Appliance first for this problem and their technician said the machine had a bad transmission. Since it was on warranty, I called D3/A-OK Appliance Service. D3/A-OK's service technician, Quentin, found a loose belt and put it back in place and the machine is working fine. Only charge: the service call charge. Much less than buying a new transmission or a new washing machine. And the warranty on D3/A-OK's labor is 30 days, so if it does turn out that something more is going on and the machine quits working in that time, I won't have to pay the service charge again.

Great ,clean cut, young guy did not have the part on truck and went back into town from Chipita to get part only to find that it was obsolete and not available any longer. He was back in less than 45 minutes and tried to adapt new design to old style switch. He did everything possible to get it to operate safely. He returned 2 months later to adjust new dryer door that Lowe's didn't do correctly. That was covered under warranty.

It went very badly. They started in October and finished in November. Every time they came they broke it in a different way. The first time out they didn't have the right part so they couldn't fix it. The second time both ovens wouldn't work. When they came the third time the ovens works but not the display. They said that the display failure wasn't their fault and that the machine was working and closed the job. We ended up replacing the appliance. During one of the visits we asked them to look at the dishwasher. They estimated it would cost over $500 to fix it. While attempting to replace it, I found a hose that popped off and fixed it with a 39 cents hose clamp.

Samsung side-by-side fridge stop cooling in the fridge and freezer areas. Called D-3/A-ok after a previous appliance repair company came out and said the problem was the compressor had to be replaced for a cost of $750. On Oct 13, the D-3/A-ok technician came out and diagnosed the problem with the evaporator motor fan and main PCB, total for the the repairs was $460!!. The only issue was there would be a week before the parts came in and the technicain would be able to compete the repair. Once the parts came in, an appointment was scheduled and the technicain arrived promptly with appropiate tools and parts prepared to finish the job. In one hour, I had fully functionally refridgerator that is still working today.

We are very happy with the service provided by Tony. We feel he went above and beyond by still coming to do our repair at 7:00 p.m. He has great attention to detail, double/triple checked all of his work, and cleaned up after himself. The dishwasher is like new and quiet again! We have used D3/A-OK for all of our appliance repairs in the past and will continue to do so in the future (but hopefully we won't need them).

Our 5 month old Kitchen Aid Dishwasher keys stopped responding, so we called kitchen aid for the service warranty work. They recommend D3/A-OK. The service man was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. Not to mention extremely friendly and jolly. They showed up within their window time frame. The first visit he confirmed that the control board and button panel were malfunctioning. Unfortunately the parts had to come directly from the manufacturer, so we had to schedule another visit 1 week later. Again on the second visit, the same repairman showed up within his time window. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He quickly repeated the repairs, answered several questions for us and was on his way. They did a great job, I would definitely recommend using them for future appliance repair work.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! - My LG washer stopped working over the weekend so I called D3/A-OK on Monday morning to schedule an appointment. The tech arrived Tuesday and determined what the issue was in less than 15 minutes. The washer was displaying a "TE" code so this didn't take a great deal of investigation. A part had to be ordered and the tech told me the part should be in Friday. They charged my credit card for the part and labor THAT DAY. I receive a call Friday around 12:00PM and their receptionist tells me the part has arrived and the soonest they can get the tech back out is the following WEDNESDAY. 5 ADDITIONAL DAYS...ARE YOU SERIOUS! My response to the receptionist was"If you knew the part would be in on Friday why wasn't this factored into the tech's schedule for TODAY?" She said, "I'm sorry but that's the 1st available appointment. Would you like morning or afternoon?" I told her I was extremely unhappy and very frustrated and her response was "well I'll put you on the cancellation list but that's all I can do." Needless to say I never received a call and the tech arrived the following Wednesday to install the part which took less than 10 minutes. 9 DAYS. It took them 9 days to complete a repair that should have been done within a week. Their response to my being unhappy and frustrated was "too bad". I will never use them again and I will never recommend them to anyone I know.

Not good at all. It is now September and we started this whole process in July. The first time they ordered the wrong part for repair of my ice maker (after taking a picture and writing down the model number.) One time my time was between 1:00-5:00, when technician was not here by 5:30, I called and they said he was running late, no call or nothing from them to inform me of this after waiting all afternoon for him to show up. Then the part was put in and still did not work, they had to come out again with a different part, while replacing this part the front of my freezer drawer (which is a bottom pull out drawer got scratched, and not just a little scratch.) They did replace the drawer after I informed them of the problem, but it took 2 visits to get that right as well. The first time instead of ordering the freezer drawer, they ordered the top refrigerator door!! I mean really, how hard is it to order a freezer drawer?? I do not understand how you mistake a refrigerator door for a freezer drawer, especially since I called and let them know how unhappy I was with the damage that was done by their technician, maybe they did it on purpose??? So, finally after almost 3 months, and several wasted days off of work because of their fault and not getting the correct parts my ice maker and freezer drawer are finally fixed!!! The technicians that did come to my house were nice, but overall customer service sucks!!! My appliance was purchased from Home Depot, but I will seriously consider not purchasing any more appliances from Home Depot since this is the company that will service my appliance with the purchase of the extended warranty. Overall I was very disappointed!!!

Price: We understand that service charges are what they are and the work was completed correctly; however after doing our research, D3/A-OK marked up a dryer appliance part to a exorbitant amount. The part in question was available wholesale at around 1/3 of what was charged, and even Sears with their markup had the part at around 1/2 the cost of what we were charged. When we called to see if D3/A-OK would consider a "fair" price on the part in question, they refused. Technician: average people skills, we were disappointed that he instructed my wife to vacuum the inside of the dryer before he finished the work. You would think that would be part of the service at those prices. Cleaning has always been a part of services in the past.
Description of Work: Overpriced. Technician could have been more professional.
