In the past I was scammed by a roofer. After the original roofer was done, I had garbage in my yard and my roof wouldn't pass inspection. Whole chunks of roofing missing among other things and winter was coming. In all I had spent thousands and many months went by. I met Gus Zielke through a mutual friend and had him come out to assess the damage. Gus Zielke came out, inspected the damage and went right to work. He had his men rip off and roof huge portions of the roof to fix the mistakes. By the time all was done he only charged me for material and a little bit for his worker. He made no profit but made a life long customer. This spring when we had several bad hail storms I needed a new roof. The first person I called was Gus. He provided an estimate of what I needed and when we agreed to a price he had his guys come over the next week. I told him that I wanted to avoid putting on another roof next year so he had some suggestions for impact resistant shingles that would get me a discount with my insurance. There was no upselling from him on extraenous items. After that we checked on his scheduing and he was being generous and gave me a 2 day estimate of getting to original roof removed and a new one put on. By the first day the roof was off and 80% of the new one was on. His guys returned the next day and were done by about 1pm. Gus gets A's from me across the board.
