In the company's defense, due to the fact that this work was done in 2008, the installer and sales rep may no longer be working with the company. However, I felt it important to share my experience so that, if nothing else, future customers do not encounter the same problems. Approximately 2 months after my doors were installed, they started falling off the hinges; literally. Additionally, the lock on one of the doors broke. I contacted the sales rep on her cell phone at least a half a dozen times over the period of a month, and she never returned my calls. So much for service after the sale. In regards to the windows, I have had several neighbors, contractors, and window washers tell me the same thing; your window company cut corners when installing your windows. Jambs were cut too short on over 50% of our windows, leaving very ugly, unfinished gaps. Don't make the same mistake we did; find a company whose service is as good as the sale!

Repair was successful and front door & storm door both work well now. The owner also recommended some gutter and stucco repair above the door and said that they are licensed for that type of work, and that he would send his "stucco guy" by to take a look. I did not hear anything after about 2 weeks and when I called, they said they did not know when they would be able to come by. They did not seem to want to engage in any more business with me anytime soon, which surprised me because the owner, Eric, had said that the front door problems were directly a result of gutter deficiencies and that was the cause of the stucco problems as well, and that I should have these issues resolved asap. Since they were unwilling to commit to scheduling an appointment to address the problem, I told them I would have to contact someone else. Their only response was "I understand". I won't do business with them again, not due to their work quality but due to their lack of interest.

Has the windows installed within a month of order. Installer was great, had them completed within a day, took an extra day to finish the outside due to storms in the afternoon. Very happy with there customer service.

we removed all stuff and they came 3 days in a row preping and then 1 day for the stucco. went very well.

Jeanne was awesome in helping us design and plan our project. The true test of a good contractor is if they take responsibility for their errors and fix them promptly. We had a very large job with multiple pieces to manage. Despite some unfortunate events, they were very responsive and professional with my requests. I would highly recommend them time and again!

The entire episode was a disaster. When the first crew of five or six showed up to start, none of the workers spoke enough English to understand that I needed them to move their vehicles so I could exit my garage. I finally found the crew boss and asked if all of the workers were “legal”, either citizens or legal immigrants with EINs. He said, “No.” I told him that the illegal workers must be replaced by legal employees. I walked in the house and they all loaded up and left. The POC to whom I was directed at Colorado Window and Door named Eric accused me of “throwing his men off my property.” When I explained the situation he promised to have a legal crew here ASAP. Approximately four days later a crew of two supposedly “legal” workers showed up and began. Two days later they quit because they said Colorado Window and Door would not provide the required scaffolding. Another two man crew showed up two days later, worked four hours and left, never to return again. After several calls, Eric told me that he just couldn’t find enough legal workers to do my job and that I was going to “have to help him out” with the situation. When asked what that meant, he responded that he was not responsible for the crews because he subcontracted them out. He had to use what they gave him. I told him absolutely no illegal immigrants would be allowed on my property and that I wanted the job completed. He said there was no way he could do it so I demanded my money back—and the mess at my home restored. Eric and a crew came out on a Saturday, removed all of the wire off the house, left large staples all over the house and a huge pile of sand in the middle of my drive way. They also failed to replace the gutters on the house. At some time during this ordeal one the crews took a folding ladder from my home with them! I finally got the refund check but the mess they left and the loss of my ladder were not covered. I cannot stress enough that this ordeal with Colorado Window and Door was an eye opener. According to Eric, EVERY company installing stucco in the Colorado Springs, CO area is breaking the law and using illegal labor every day on every job. Something to think about… The ONLY bright spot in the entire organization is a young lady name Melissa in the Colorado Springs office.

They didn't come back and do the little things they said they'd throw in; I guess they were too busy. But the job went well and the windows work well. Originally their responsiveness was an A. After the job was done it was hard to get them to come back.

I had a problem with a window, and I had to call them to fix it. They never came out to fix it when I called. My neighbor told them about my problem, and they fixed it then. That was a little annoying that they didn't fix it for me, but they did when my neighbor mentioned the problem.

Excellent. I highly recommend this company for stucco over siding and would strongly suggest asking for Jeff Masias by name as the foreman. Jeff worked really hard to get us the best product available for the stucco while keeping prices as good as the nearest competitors. They used 20 wire gauge (all the other estimates were for 17 gauge.) He also provided us with diamond wall acrylic stucco instead of the standard concrete for a difference of only about $1K more. The work was done in the three weeks that Jeff said it would take and there were no surprises with the price. We even picked out paint for the doors, had them painted and then changed our mind and were only charged for the paint. The colors came out awesome and no less than 10 neighbors complemented me directly on how the house looked. BL: I was investing a lot of money in this project and if I had to do it again, I'd choose the same company.
