CHRIS ROOFING

I have used Chris's Roofing Company exclusively for all our roofing needs over the past 20+ years, and I anticipate continuing to use them in the future. I find that the company offers the best combination of honesty, reliability, quality, and pricing in Colorado Springs. There is a good reason that they have earned the BBB A+ rating.

Chris was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed and did an awesome job it was a few years back but I still don’t have any complaints he was awesome

Chris's Roofing installed our Roof in 2016 after the huge hailstorm. In December 2021, we had a few shingles that blew off. I called Chris to come inspect and asked him if I have to call the insurance, he said there is no need. He did not tell me upfront that wind damage is not covered, ( even though it is just a few shingles) but he kept postponing. BTW, when our Roof was installed in 2016, there was nails and Roof Debris all around the house and this Debris fell inside our A/C unit also. To this day, I still find nails !

Excellent service and super qualified employees. Our tar and gravel roof is very old and they know how to do the repairs. Chris and son Jared are the absolute best. Cleanup was easy and complete around the house. We will have them do a complete Re-roof in the future!

Chris ' Roofing has roofed my house 3 times- once to replace an old roof and twice because of hail damage. I clearly am very pleased with their work. SH

When my house was hit in the recent Fountain hail storms I found the process of choosing a roofing company extremely difficult. Many of the companies I called refused to provide an estimate without me first providing them with a copy of my insurance estimate (this is an unethical tactic employed to ensure they charge as much as the insurance company is willing to pay). A friend recommenced I call Chris Roofing. Chris Roofing is a local company with many years of experience in the area. Chris came out quickly and provided me with a written estimate. The estimated price was among the best I was able to find. No money was requested until the job was completed. Chris is very responsive to phone calls and worked with me to schedule a time that fit my schedule. His crew was always on time, polite and did an excellent job on the roof and clean-up. Chris also took care of my neighbors house who was just as happy with the result.

Jarrett was very professional. He was on time and provided me with a detailed explanation of what the repair entailed. The repair went exactly as he said it would. I will definitely be recommending Chris’ Roofing to all my friends and family.

I got Chris's number from a friend that used him for a new roof. He answered the phone promptly and went out to look at the property within a week. Heavy snow prevented an immediate inspection. He was quick to send me an estimate of what would be done. I had many questions and he always answered my calls with suggestions and recommendations. He helped me work with the State Farm adjuster. I can't say enough good things about Chris or his company. His responsiveness, his kindness toward my tenant, his follow up and the quality of his work are all to be recommended.

It went really smooth. Chris’s Roofing did a great job and I now have an excellent roof on my building.

Wonderful. They were fast, thorough and efficient. Job was completed on schedule. Workers were professional and respectful. Owner, Chris keeped me well informed On all aspects of work as they were being done.

The quality is terrible. Refer to the picture. Look along the edge and see all the lumps. The ice and water shield was not applied properly and the bubbles have telegraphed through the shingles. Look at the lower left edge and you will see how the edges of the shingles are raised because the drip edge is not bent at the correct angle. I complained about these issues when they finished and was told that as soon as it gets warm the shingles will lay down. The photo was taken after the roof baked in the heat all summer. The shingles did not "lay down." Is this how you want your roof to look? There are other issues. The ridge cap is coming off because the nails are not long enough. A lot of shingle nails were left sticking up 1/4" or so. Then the next course was put over them. These nails hold the shingles up and when I walk on the flatter section they tear through the surface, leaving holes. There are too many shiners (nails in the wrong place so the next course doesn't cover them). I saw a worker nail shingles on crooked, rip them off without pulling the nails, then reuse the shingles which now have holes in them. I can see the roof felt where shingles are inadequately applied. We can all make mistakes, but in my opinion this level of errors points to folks who don't care about the work and/or incompetence. I called them to come back and fix the issues. The first time they canceled on the day they were scheduled. They rescheduled. The second time they did not show up. They wanted to reschedule a third time, but I told them not to bother. Quite frankly, I was afraid I'd be worse off if they came back. Their yellow pages ad claims "Have the job done right the first time." If you want it done right I recommend calling a different roofer.
