Brian Pierce Roofing, is a family owned and operated company with over 60 years in the roofing industry. Our roofing crews are master craftsmen that are dedicated to providing you with professional, timely service. Call us today to schedule a free estimate.
The gutter part of Brian Pierce Roofing is handled by Brian’s son who is spring boarding off his father’s excellent reputation as a roofing contractor. The son opted to install a smaller size gutter than the one replaced on our home. The reason given for this decision was it was determined they could not fit the full size gutter on a small section abutting a slatted pergola style roof over the back deck. The result was that the smaller size gutter is totally inadequate. Why didn’t these numbskulls put the larger size gutter on 3/4 of the house and a smaller piece only on the area they claimed they needed to? We were foolish to trust their judgment. There was no way of determining the result of their work until weeks later. When it rains water gushes over the puny gutters and the whole purpose of new gutters is defeated. I am 100% disabled veteran and having to fix the shoddy work of Brian Pierce Roofing and Gutters LLC will probably require total replacement which will pose a hardship. Everytime it rains I am reminded of this company and their poor decision and what a mistake it was to hire them. I would not recommend them and our neighbors and passers by can also see an example of their poor work everytime it rains.

FANTASTIC! There is a reason this company has an A rating: They are professional, considerate, had excellent craftsmanship, and awesome follow through. Chris Buckley was our Project Manager and did an excellent job. We'd had other gutter installers over the last several years who needed their work fixed by Brian Pierce Roofing, and the installation of our new gutters looks phenomenal. Chris had great suggestions on the new gutter runs, the choices of colors were perfect, and his crew considerate of our property. Would ABSOLUTELY call them again, and would refer them to everyone. They'll be our first call for any future roofing, gutter, exterior painting, etc . . . .needs. MANY thanks!

I've worked with These folks a couple of times and been very pleased with the work, first on my home a few years ago, and last fall on my rental properties. The price was fair - too cheap and i get suspicious. They followed up, covered my concerns, were thorough and the roofs look great. I'd use them again any time I needed a roof.

In general, it went fine, with some glitches and some things that could have gone differently. They showed up to do the roof without calling to let me know when they were coming. This is forgivable. They did part of the roof with rolled roofing instead of the class 4 shingles in the contract. No real explanation was given as to why that was not noted ahead of time or in the contract. Verbal assurances were given as to it being ok, but nothing in writing as to that nor why the change. Some delays due to wind were ok, but then several days delay after they started mine while they did another job. No final "walkthrough" with me after job was done.

I'm a veteran owner who lives out of state. In the beginning, they seem to be great with customer service and such. Once they got the contract, things changed. I believe it's because they knew I was out of town. I asked my Property Management company to verify that the work had been done before making the final payment. I've made the final payment but I'm still waiting for the warranty since they refused to even let me look at a blank copy just to get an idea of what was in it. I'm sure they do fine in terms of work but if you're out of the state, find a business with a staff who doesn't mind answering the phones and addressing your concerns.

Superb! Brian's crews are masters and very professional, cleaning the worksite, checking in each day they are coming to work. One of the estimators, Buzz, suggested a custom cupola for the detached garage and it was an amazing addition. Miguel is a master craftsman in metal in all the work he did. We have a fine quality result and it literally tops off the entire upgrade to our buildings. They are worth the price no doubt!

Unfortunately, I spoke to soon about this company because after 10 months my roof was leaking and it would require another 5 months and me filing with the BBB for them to do what was required to fix it. The fix was redoing the flat part of my roof and from what I monitored, they did a great job. However, what they did not do is live up to their promise to repair the water damaged wood and drywall caused by their delay. They also did not repair the holes they punched in my roof. (Also, like I said, I saw the work and it was obvious that the water was coming from holes in the denz deck and not from the walls.) Their conduct with the BBB involving this matter landed them a well deserved down grade as well as a log for the world to see of the whole sorted affair filed under resolved complaints 9/22/2015.
Description of Work: They removed existing 1 layer sloped area of roof down to decking. Supplied and installed 2 X 4 drip edge at all eaves, ice and water shield at all eaves & valleys and an ASTM felt underlayment, then installed a new Tamko Heritage 30 yr shingle roof as per manufacturer specifications. New pipe jacks, snow blocker vents and permit. Fasten a 1/4 " Denz deck to entire flat roof and fully adhere a 60 mil EPDM rubber roof system. Installed 5 " pre-finished seamless gutters.

[Member Name Removed] WE FEEL THIS REVIEW IS TOTAL NONSENSE, Our contract was with the homeowner [Member Name Removed] She is a very nice lady and a pleasure to work with. We installed a new EPDM rubber roof to her house. Before we installed the roof, there was a problem area above the garage that had been leaking for quite sometime and numerous roofing contractors tried to fix the problem but had all failed. It took a lot of investigation, trial and error for our company to figure out how it was leaking and what to do to fix it after the new roof had been installed. It turns out that the roof above the garage was actually sweating due to no insulation in the garage ceiling. Once we figured that out we added insulation to the roof portion above the garage and installed a new EPDM roof at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE to the customer. BEFORE we even started the job the ceiling was already stained from all of the prior leaking that no other company could figure out. [Member Name Removed]'s son made it very difficult to resolve her roof issues with various threats but we were determined to resolve this issue, which we DID.

Original contact was with Danielle (this woman is fantastic to work with). She set up an appointment to meet with Brian several days later. Brian showed up on time and we discussed what I wanted done. He answered a ton of questions and promised me a bid by the next day. Sure enough, a bid was emailed to me the following morning. I replied to his email with questions I had about the bid and a request for locations of prior completed work with the same color shingle product I requested. The following day, Brian satisfactorily answered my questions, included a revised proposal, and provided addresses for four local houses with a Malarkey Legacy Class 4 shingle in the Heather color. After observing one of these houses, I agreed to the new proposal. The roofing crew was punctual and easy to work with. The re-roofing took a bit longer than I was originally told but not so much that it was upsetting. The new gutter/gutter guards, and downspout installation was started several days after the roofing was completed. Again, this crew was easy to work with. A week later, exterior painting of the house and gutters was started by another company. A slight accident occurred and damaged part of a gutter. The paint company agreed to cover the cost of repair. I contacted Danielle (did I mention she is great to work with) and explained the situation. She was able to get the gutter crew back to fix the gutter within several days after the painting was finished. I am very happy to have chosen Brian Pierce Roofing for the work I needed done. I would recommend them for your roofing needs.

Not well. We initially used them to install gutters in 2013. We have found those don't drain properly and we've been unable to get them to come out and fix the work we already paid for. Subsequently, we discovered a leak in our roof that was damaging the roof and wall inside the house. It took a while but we finally got them out to look at our roof for repair. We were told they fixed the roof so we called a company to repair the damage inside the house. Everything was fine until the next rain when we discovered they hadn't fixed it properly (just like the gutters) and our roof and wall inside the house were damaged again. This was fall 2014 and we are still waiting. At this point, I am going to have to call someone else to fix what Brian Pierce did. So far, between the roof, gutters and inside house repairs, this has cost nearly $3,000. I expect having to redo everything will end up doubling the overall cost. On top of it all, I received a past due invoice since they had sent the original to the wrong address and never reached out again until months later. I would have gladly paid for ion time had they sent it to the right address. Here is an email I had to send back in the fall of last year in order to get a response (Karen is Karen Pierce I assume related to Brian) Karen, Wasn?t sure who to reach out to, to get this issue resolved, but the work you did on our roof last year didn?t work. I know it can be tricky to track down a leak but, according to the guy you sent out a couple of weeks ago, the guy you sent last year didn?t do it right. Here is a copy of the email I sent to your office online: We are still waiting for our roof to be properly fixed. We had a leak last year and you sent someone out who did some work that didn?t work. I called you after the next big rain in August this year and you were sending Jason out to check it out. I explained it was leaking into the house in exactly the same place as last time. Jason called a couple of times but never came out to look at the roof. Consequently and finally, you sent someone from your OKC office to take a look on September 17. He said he would contact Danielle and line up ?Armando? to come out and fix the roof right. I didn?t hear anything until I called either last week or this to find out what was going on. I talked to Danielle and she said Jason (What happened to Armando??) was going to come out and fix it. I haven?t seen or heard from Jason. Consequently with last night?s rain, MORE WATER LEAKED INTO THE HOUSE. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible. PLEASE GET SOMEONE OUT HERE ASAP AND FIX THE ROOF. It?s been over a month since I first called!!! The code to get in the gate is Key Symbol twice then 3443. Again, we don?t need to be here for whoever to get on our roof?? Thanks UPDATE 9-28-15: In typical Karen Pierce fashion (see her reply), she doesn't get it. The main point is the "repair" on the roof, IT DIDN'T WORK. When I tried to get them back out, the guy they sent out more than once and had finally figured it out, quit. We didn't know this until we chased them down. Given their previous outstanding performance, we did not want to basically start from scratch with them. We just had another A+ rated roofer out who showed us pictures of the problem including the poor quality flashing install by Brian Pierce. We are going to have them do all the work and are encouraged by their professionalism so far.

(Removed member name), We have checked our records. Our records show that we DID NOT install new gutters on your house. We sealed the joints in your gutters and installed gutter guard. Therefore, any issues with drainage has nothing to do with what we did there. Regarding the repair, we determined that the roof leak was caused by snow or rain blowing into a sofit area. We proposed to install closure flashing for $100. We then came out and discovered water backing up in the valley and sent a repair man out and cut the shingles out of the center of the valley to allow for unrestricted water flow. NO INVOICE WAS SENT. After the repair was made, we came out again and got inside the attic and discovered the water that was coming in at the valley due to a previous repair that was NOT done by us. There were several nail holes that were not sealed under the shingles where the water was getting in. We sealed those nail holes. AGAIN, NO INVOICE WAS SENT. Our gutter estimator was sent out recently, per your phone call, regarding an unrelated gutter problem. Upon meeting our estimator, he determined a minor adjustment or repair for that area is needed. At that time, no comment was made or discussed with any employee regarding previous issues that you are now addressing. We have sent an estimate for gutter repair, have not heard from you and have now received an F rating. We apologize for not being able to respond quick enough for your concerns as we have been overwhelmed this season with the excessive rains. (A record rainfall in June and July of 2015) If you would like to move forward with your $150 gutter repair, please let us know. Thank you, Karen Pierce

Initially, I thought they did a nice job. I was pleased with the work. About two months later, one of the downspouts they installed fell down. When I called and told them about that, they responded immediately. When they came to the house, I also pointed out that one of the fixes they made apparently was contributing to a leaking problem in the front yard. I asked them to look at it, and he said he would. He fixed the downspout, and then drove away. I do not think he ever looked at the second problem. I called and asked someone to come look at it, and was told someone would. Noone ever came out. I proceeded to call three more times, and everntually talked to a supervisor. He said they would be out the following week. That was over a month ago. Noone ever came, or bothered to call. I now have a drainage problem in the front yard that appears to be directly related to one of their fixes. Initially, I would have recommended them. And now seeing what their follow through is, I would not recommend them to anyone. That is very disappointing.
Description of Work: I needed a roof repair. They came out immediately and gave me a quote. They pointed out that additional work needed to be done, and we agreed on that. The work was done about two weeks later.

[Member name removed], I am sorry you are having issues but all the work that we performed was on the back side of the house. We solved the issues you were having on the north and south back side of the house as stated in our proposal. The only thing we did on the front of the house was clean the gutters and that was DONE FOR FREE. You did have issues with a downspout that needed to be reconnected and we came out immediately (as you state) and fixed it. While our installer was there, you asked him to look at another (unrelated) problem area. Our installer informed us that there was water getting behind the gutter and he put sealer in the area, free of charge as an attempt to solve the problem. Sometime later you called and complained that we did not fix the problem. We feel like everything we have been paid for has been done. Once again, if you are having problems with drainage on the front of the house, this has nothing to do with the work we performed on the back of the house. If you are having problems with the front of the house, we will gladly help you try and fix it, but at an additional charge. Please let us know if you would like our help. Thank you, Karen Pierce
Roofer was very courteous and showed me every step (where the issue was, what he was going to do, and then showed me the final result). Brian and his crew were a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them again. I had originally gone through insurance, but the roofers were out about a month and we couldn't wait another month to have a hole in our roof. I called Brian and he was able to squeeze me in, which was very much appreciated!
Description of Work: We had a minor roof leak, which needed to be fixed with some flashing (shoddy original construction). In addition, without prompting, the roofer also cleaned out our gutter and realigned it, so the water would slope towards the spout, rather than sitting in the gutter.

I am sorry you weren't happy with our responsiveness to your gutter situation. In all reality, the Colorado Springs area has had record rains in June and July. This has pushed ALL gutter work off by approximately 3-4 weeks. Our records show that we have had a thread of email communication with you since you have contacted us in June. We had you scheduled for mid August to get your work completed, and I know it was a long wait but it was out of our control. Also, I believe there was additional work added for us to do just recently. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. If you would like to move forward with your scope of work, we will be happy to do that, as the rains have pretty much subsided.

Both Brian and Danielle we’re very polite when I spoke to them on the phone. Brian came out, inspected our roof and gave us a reasonable estimate. We decided to go with him and he said Danielle would contact us to schedule the work. By the end of the following week, we hadn’t heard back so I reached out to Danielle. I did not get a response. I waited a few more days and called Brian. I did not hear back. I reached out a couple more times and the last time I just asked if he would at least give me an answer, “yes or no” just so we could know whether to move on or not. I never heard back. It’s been several weeks and our roof still leaks. Contacting Brian Pierce Roofing was a complete waist of time. It delayed the whole process of getting our roof fixed when we thought he would get it done. We’ll now reach out to other companies for the job. I would recommend not wasting your time by contacting Brian Pierce Roofing. Call someone more reliable instead.

Brian came to my home and gave me a quote on replacing my hail damaged roof and gutters. His cost was reasonable compared to the other three quotes I received and he came recommended by two contractors/developers that I know. The roof looks great and is a quality insulation. There were some minor delays which is to be expected after the major hail storm the area experienced. It also took a little while to get someone back out to my residence to replace a shingle that was damaged during the installation (according to the local building inspector). While it took a little longer than expected, they did fix the problem with no issues. Clean up was thorough. On the flip side, the gutter installation was not done as well. The gutters were installed, and appeared to be properly installed. However recently, during Spring rains, I discovered the front gutters are not leveled and there is water overflow in the same two spots that the old gutters had issues. I can only assume the installers probably used the same nail holes for installation. Also the extensions at the bottom of the downspouts to drain water away from the foundation were poorly installed and three of them have become disconnected. Overall I'm happy with the service I received and I would recommend and use Brian again for my roofing needs. As for gutters, I would probably not use Brian. In his defense I believe he subcontracted this part of the job. Also, I'm partially to blame because I didn't do a thorough inspection of the finished gutter work before paying for the service. Of course I'm not even sure how to test gutters with no rain. I'd recommend to anyone installing gutters that you be more attentive to inspecting the finished work ...no matter who installs your gutters.
Description of Work: Tour off old hail damaged roof, and replace drip edge, iceand water shield, felt underlayment, attic vents and aTamko Heritage shingle roof. Also installed 5" seamless gutters and 2 x 3"downspouts on front and back of house.

I contacted this company based on their Angie's list reviews. I am really disappointed! It was originally difficult getting them to show up when they said they would. They did finally do the repair. Unfortunately, I have had to call several times regarding workmanship issues. They came out once to repair and I had them fix the area of the soffit that was not repaired or caulked. Nothing was ever done with the rotting wood & I asked that they at least paint it when they were paining the gutters. The gutter is still heavily leaking over the front entrance of my home and I have made several attempts to have them come out. THE GUTTER ACTUALLY LEAKS WORSE NOW THAN PRIOR TO THE REPAIR. I was told on a Friday they would come by the following day. No show, no call. I have not been able to reach anyone in the office since then. I called the emergency number and reached Jason who is supposed to come by as I write this - we'll see. I am very frustrated with the lack of professionalism and service for what I consider a very costly job.
Description of Work: The company was hired to repair a leak around the chimney of my roof and to replace a leaking gutter and repair a soffit.

[members name], Sorry about the scheduling issues. It is hard to schedule for a specific day in our industry, due to weather, new construction, jobs taking longer then expected, misc. We did do all of the repairs to your roof, gutters, soffit and fascia that we stated on the proposals. We are also installing new flashing in the leaking area at no additional charge and we cleaned all of your gutters at no additional charge that were full of debris (they should function a lot better now). It is good to have your gutters cleaned at least once a year, so that they work properly. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for the business, Karen

They were awesome. Originally scheduled for a later date, called them to see if they could come sooner and they made it work. The installer was honest with my husband to where a gutter was suppose to be replaced and stated that it was still in great condition but if we still wanted it to be replaced it would involve extensive work and maybe costing more money. He was absolutely correct. My husband was very satisfied with them which is a compliment in itself because he is very picky.
Description of Work: Replaced old gutters and installed new gutters in another area.

Arrived on time and did excellent job. Very impressed that damage was found to the corner of our roof from overgrown tree branches. He provided a picture to help explain it to us and we were amazed at the severe damage we had. We asked him for an estimate, which was very reasonable, and engaged him to repair the roof damage. The repair was done quickly and efficiently. Our roof is over 10 years old and has been through significant hail storms. However, when asked about the condition of our roof, he said he fixed a few shingles standing up but otherwise the roof was doing fine. He did not try to up sell us.
