Description of Work: I called and left messages twice after our gate was blown down in a wind storm and never heard back. Even if they were too busy to do the work it would have been professional to let us know.

Description of Work: Fencing replaced after wind damage. After pricing materials for a diy project and getting several estimates, both of 6' wood privacy and 6' vinyl privacy fence, decided on Blicks to do the job and opted for the white vinyl. Was very pleased with how quickly the fence went in, clean up and removal of all debris and old fence materials and quality of materials used. Very happy and would recommend the company.

Description of Work: Remove and replace two sides of the cedar privacy fence.

Description of Work: Estimate was conducted by one person in the company, but later found out that the individual who initially did the quote was fired. Eventually the work got started. Initially the 2 individuals who were working the issue were instructed what needed to be done. When I returned from work later that afternoon they had removed/cut/destroyed portions of the existing fence that were not suppose to be touched. Additionally, they cut a telephone wire and my neighbor was without phone/internet which was needed for her employment for over 24hrs. Once we worked a solution to make the neighbors happy about the portions of the fence that were removed without authorization the work was finally completed in 2 1/2 days. I inspected the work , but the owner Michael never came to the site to do a final inspection. The work was completed and over the weekend I did a full inspection of the fencing as the work was guaranteed for 2 yrs. I noted that several pickets were cracked or broken and still nailed into place on the fence and there were at times only 1 nail holding a picket in place on each of the 3 rails. I made a list of problems I had that needed to be addressed for completion of the work. Also, the latching mechanism was not what we wanted and instructed him the type of latch we wanted since his installers had installed backwards. Finally after 4 phone calls and messages left Michael contacted me stating he would be out the following week to make the fixes. His attitude was very disinterested and not caring when I instructed him that I paid top dollar for this fence and to not have it the way I was told it would be was poor business. Michael did not come out the following week. In fact, after several more phone calls and left messages I was told by him that he was focusing on denver and was backlogged and trying to come out but couldn't didn't have enough time in the day, but kept saying I'll be out the next week. over 1 month and 3 promises later he eventually came out. He told me he was going to fix the problems but ended up dropping off yet another new person with no instruction on what I wanted fixed. Upon my return from work to reinspect again only partial work was completed and he left boards/pickets that had bolt and screw holes in them instead of replacing them. Again a poor attitude and work ethic led to me calling yet again for him to come fix the issues that he neglected to fix from the initial list of problems. To this date ( over 1.5 mths after initial contract of the new fence) he still has not completed the work. I would not recommend this person/company This owner wasted my time several times waiting for him to actually come out as agreed upon. While the fence on a whole looks better than what I initially had, there are still several problems with bad boards/pickets that will probably never get fixed and eventually I'll get around to fixing them myself.
